Great place to stop in for coffee and a quick bite to eat. Have a burger for breakfast. You won’t regret it!

Veggie paninis are excellent, full of flavor and served with some really good pasta salad; or you can choose chips/fruit instead. Service is a bit slow and prices are kinda high.

Equal parts rock and redeemer. Coconut cream pie, double lattice spiced apple pie, and those awesome sprinkle cookies from your childhood. All made in house. An oasis of Millennial essentials: caffeine options, excellent wifi, homemade pastries, open, airy seating, friendly ladystaff. Oh, and it’s really clean. This is the stuff of first world fantasy.

Great place for sandwiches, salads, paninis, and hamburgers. A bit slow as everything on their menu is made to order but food is worth the wait. Don’t forget to save room for dessert. A good selection of coffee and smoothies.

I’ve tried multiple things off their menu the grilled paninis, the burgers, club sandwich… are are actually really good choices! But their potato salad… OMGDELISH! Insane good! The people are friendly and the atmosphere has always been inviting. The food takes a little while to be prepared so if you’re in a rush it’s best to call in your order, this has always worked out great for me. Oh and sometimes they forget to give your cookie, some meals come with cookies btw; so don’t forget to ask for it. You want that cookie, trust me! Aesthetically this place is cute and cozy… great location in the heart of «down town». All in all 5 stars. hands down great local business!

Just finished lunch here. Got the mushroom burger and home fries. The home fries are red potato chunks and I like them but these were freezing cold on the inside. My burger was dry and a little over cooked. My companions panini and salad were great though. A lot of people had just walked in, so maybe they were just a little flustered.

The food is really good and so are the desserts. Perfect for a lunch date or meeting. I usually call and order ahead, sometimes it takes a little longer during the lunch rush.

awesome atmosphere, lots of comfortable seating, feels like a coffee shop in some college town, totally out of place in the IMperial Valley but that is a good thing! good panini sandwiches, great espresso drinks, good cookies, various pastries, friendly staff who clearly take pride in producing a quality product. they have breakfast also!

So going on a day road trip through Salton Sea, the husband and myself wanted to have a wee bit of a snack as we were coming to the south part of the trip, and came across this coffee shop while passing through Brawley. It’s located near Plaza Park and their AM talk radio station. We stepped in around 3ish so the kids were out and about, and it seems like a mellow place for kids to catch up with one another after school while being able to grab a snack. We came across their displays of cookies and opted to try the peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. The cookies are the size of an average hand palm, and they were about $ 0.50 for a cookie, which is cheap! Their peanut butter cookie was a tad dried, but their chocolate chip cookie here was so yum! Cute coffee shop with free wifi. I’d say that’s a plus in this small sleep town.

Just rated Best Hamburgers in Imperial Valley and best in 5 other categories. They use Premium local Brandt Beef(think it’s organic too) and they are delicious! Also free WyFi.

I had very low expectations, given that this place is located in the Imperial Valley. I was shocked to find that there is even a coffee shop in this place(aside from Starbuck’s pathetic excuse for coffee). That being said, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside & found a real coffee shop! I ordered an espresso. It was very smooth, not bitter at all. The flavor was full & delicious. I will definitely be returning. You almost forget that you’re in the Valley once you’re inside. Almost.

Great ambiance, nice people, good coffee, tasty treats. And right on the plaza. Brawley needs more of this. Thumbs up!

The Rock Coffee Shop & Café Brawley CA92227 I was extremely excited when the owners opened this great place. A nice shop to stop for lunch and had many family dinners there with live music, although live music is only special occasions now. The building at one time was a Ford Dealership in the 70’s and 80’s, was vacant for years until the owners had this great vision. Great selection of fine coffee, teas and fountain drinks, as well as delicious food and made from scratch deserts, the Rock Coffee Shop & Café is a winner in my book! If you’re looking for a great place to eat while you’re in Brawley CA92227 you need to stop by The Rock Coffee Shop & Café located 132 S Plaza in downtown Brawley. In this clip we meet Luis, an employee and Tim Riley one of the owners. If you need to get your vehicle washed or detailed, there’s a great place nearby and they’ll wash it while you eat. Let me know if you eat at The Rock Coffee Shop & Café and tell them you found them online on YouTube and VIDEO LInk: Tags: Rock Coffee Shop & Café Brawley CA92227 eat diner food restaurant places to eat in Brawley

vegan reviewer. another welcome find in brawley! i was on a roadtrip and prepared for some gas station coffee but saw this place out of the corner of my eye. very pleasant and modern atmosphere, and the clientele was a mix of the very old as well as 20 somethings. it was cool. i often find myself people watching in coffee shops — you get an interesting view of what towns are like i think from the inside of their coffee houses. thank you for having vegan/vegetarian options! they have soy milk(at a steep 75 cents extra, but this time gladly paid it as i was’t expecting to find soymilk out here) and they have veggie options on the menu like soydogs, and veggie sandwiches which blew my mind. i didn’t see any vegan breakfast options though, other than plain bagels. the owner was super nice. gotta love the small town pace. he took the time to give directions and suggestions of places to see in the area. they have wi-fi, too. lots of folks working on laptops. i could easily have curled up here for a few hours and worked or just read a book.

Needing a place with wi-fi to work for a day, my wife and I found this café using Yahoo! Mobile. A pleasant surprise with good atmosphere and good morning-time beverages. The wi-fi is free as advertised and has worked well thus far. Lunch options are good here, in typical café style. I had the turkey chipotle panini with a side potato salad and my wife had the potato soup and oriental salad. All were very good and very fresh. We look forward to seeing if the daily soups are consistently good. Prices are moderate for this type of place. Sandwich special(served with side salad and cookie) is about $ 8 and salads(which are pretty big) are about $ 7. Only downside is that they have christian music playing all day, which does make sense given the name(«The Rock») and whatnot. At least they have variety and it’s not all one genre. And I have an iPod. I will update our review as we plan to work here again next week.
