The people here care about their basketball. Most nights the courts are always busy. It is very rare that the two full courts do not have a 5v5 game running. The courts can be dusty so do not wear a white t-shirt to come play here. The courts are asphalt and thus not too slippery, but falling on the ground here will definitely leave some scabs. The baskets are kept in good shape and I have never seen a basket without a net for more than two weeks. Because of its location it’s super convenient, and the fact that it’s a relative safe haven speaks a lot to the type of people that come ball here. If you live in the area, check these courts our for full court games or just to shoot around. There’s something for everyone

Let’s keep this review short and simple… Pros: –Pretty clean basketball courts for being outdoors. –I didn’t see any bugs/ants on the courts which was definitely a plus for me. –I like how there is lighting and each light tower flashes a warning before it shuts down(giving you time to hit the button so it stays on). –Over 6 courts? Probably at least 8… Cons: –no benches to sit on by the courts(but this makes sense since it’s in a Junior high– there weren’t any benches at the junior high I went to)

Pickup basketball: 6 outdoor asphalt courts, lights on until 10pm. One parking lot right next to the courts and the other farther away near the field. Water fountains are a walk from the courts toward the bathroom or the school.

I just moved out to Brea and was looking for places to play. Pretty much any day of the week after 6PM you can find a number of pickup games running here ranging from beginner to intermediate level… and if that’s not your thing, there are enough courts open to where you can probably still just shoot around on your own. Some cons: –Its an outdoor court, so it gets super dusty and slipperty sometimes –Close proximity to a baseball field… I’ve witnessed foul balls getting bounced over and coming very close to hitting people right in the face –A couple of the courts are not actually completely flat –The different ethnicities out here roll in groups and may sometimes shut you out of their games If anything, I feel I’m adding a review here to solicit people to come out before 6PM.

Never been to this school as a student, I am gonna Unilocal about the famous Lambert basketball court. Can’t believe this place is not on Unilocal yet, I knew about this place for about two years now, looked it up on Unilocal and couldn’t find it, so I am gonna put it on the Unilocal map. If you are new to town and search for a place to play basketball, this is the place to be. Lambert basketball court is pretty famous, don’t even ask people about the Jr high school. I been here over 20times for basketball and I don’t even know the name of the school, I just googled it up for the name of the school. Good things about this location, lights are on till 10pm, there are 2 full size(NBA) basketball courts, and 5 smaller full size basketball court(I think is for middle school or high school but the rim is still the standard size.) There is a public bathroom(Male/female) next to it, enough parkings next to the court, and most importantly there are always people there. I was there today, there must be 4 full court games going at the same time, while 2 courts was taking up by middle school basketball camp(I think). I have never driven by this place and see the courts being empty. Also most the people here are pretty friendly, some people do take basketball pretty seriously, but I have never see anyone started a fight. This place is 5star worthy. Can’t find any public basketball court better than this. For sure come out and play if you are searching for some good pick up basketball games.(You can always pm me if you want to roll with someone, I am almost always down to play if I am in town.) Also I am only gonna Unilocal about the basketball court, there is also a big soccer field next to it too. I always see pick up soccer games there, so if you are into soccer come to this place to check it out too.
