If I were to describe this place in one word, it would be Average. This is a very average Panera Bread. Since this is pretty close to my school, I usually come here to study. The best thing about this place, is their long spacious table where I can spread all my paperwork & computer. BUT, the wifi is pretty trash because they only limit you to 30minutes. The cashiers are nice, but I felt weird when one of the workers began vacuuming right next to me when the floor was clean. I think this would be a good cheap place to grab dinner with a friend. I love their soups! The broccoli cheddar with a bread bowl, is freaking bomb!!! I have tried a variety of the pastries at Panera, and my favorite would have to be the gluten monster nut cookie! It was chewy and not overly sweet! I like their self serve teas & coffee, because it’s fun being creative with mixing however don’t expect top quality.

This Panera is garbage. Every single time I’ve been here they are out of something I order. They need a new manager that knows how to keep track of inventory.

Came back after taking a break and is it any better? Nope! Came in for a salad and they are out romaine! Decided to have soup. Got home and they forgot the bread! You would think that being in a busy shopping center this place would be better stocked. They are always out of something and more often than not, get your order wrong. I like the food at Panera but can’t stand the service here.

Overpriced c**p for hipsters. Went there for coffee several weeks ago and bought a coffee but low and behold no dark roast AND no light roast and no back up carafe to put out. I was upset and told the Asian(don’t remember his name) server. He was not impressed. He told me the light roast coffee was already out… too bad I wanted dark roast. AGAIN today, I went in for a coffee and same situation, no dark or light roast coffee and they had to make it(no backup). I told the guy behind the counter whose name is Dick that I wasn’t interested in waiting for it and to refund my money. Any seasoned customer service professional would have offered to void the check and refund my entire($ 5) purchase. Not this guy. In fact, he shared a laugh with the other employees about my displeasure. If my wife didn’t love their pastries, I’d never go in there again.

I absolutely love this Panera! I come here ATLEAST three times a week! Whenever I walk in I am always greeted by the bakery and they are always so helpful with the menu items. The girl, Alex, who helped me was so sweet and when Eric got me my food he made sure I had butter and a knife with my baguette! I definitely love being a regular and talking to the employees whenever I come in — Brenda the manager is awesome!

Just had lunch there with my wife and our three furry kids. When our server, Brian, bought us our food, he took notice of our dogs are asked if we wanted a bowl of water for them. We said that we did and ever though he was VERYBUSY as it was a Sunday lunchtime, Brian took the time to get the bowl of water for our three thrust pups, as promised :) I love entertaining my fellow business professionals at this place, and the food is always great :)

The other day my boyfriend and I decided to come in. He had some dietary restrictions for the day due to a cleanse he was doing and naturally, he didn’t check the menu before we got to Panera. When we got to the register, we took forever… my man asked about 500 questions about various menu items, and our cashier Jessica never flinched once. She was incredibly helpful with helping him get the perfect meal that fit within dietary requirements, and she never once gave any indication that she was annoyed. There was a line behind us(which I felt bad about, sorry, people) but Jessica took her time with us and was just an all around great person. Thanks, Jessica, for making our Panera experience awesome!

This is the worst location I have ever been to! Every single time I have ordered something from here, they screw it up! The lack of care shows in their customer service, management, and product. STEERCLEAROFTHISPANERA.

This place sucks, every time I go they literally are out of flat bread or cheddar broccoli soup ! ATTN restaurant manager you should really consider adding more inventory so you can have some happy customers !!

I had a sweet tooth on the way home. So, my boyfriend and I stopped by this Panera for some yummy cookies and hot chocolate. The Gluten Conscious Monster Nut cookie was tasty but not overly sweet, but the Cinnamon Crunch Scone definitely gave me a sugar kick. The hot chocolate was sweet but not overly so, and it paired with the cookies really well.

While they do have table service, is very slow. I Just picked up my food from the counter. Other than that food was good and they Chai tea latte as well.

— Visited on Friday at 9am and they were completely out of bagels — Ordered a cup of tea, the hot water dispenser was out of water… When I asked the person at the cashier for some hot water, she acted as if in was inconveniencing her. — Poor service, employees always seem like they can’t be bothered

Mismanaged location. Almost always out of something whether it’s bagels, knives, cream cheese, fountain drink cups, various other staple food items, or whatever. Nearly every time I come here they are out of something very basic. And I have been coming here consistently(weekly) ever since they opened as it is a stone’s throw from where I work. Employees seem generally discombobulated much of the time. They are usually nice so there’s that at least. And there is a drive-thru so that is also nice. I would not recommend this location unless you simply have no other options. The Panera on State College in Fullerton is much better. Or Breugger’s(sp?) which is just down the street.

I really wanted to like this place. I have given them multiple chances but unfortunately I’ve decided that this place just sucks! My order is placed correctly but every time they bring it to my table, there’s something completely wrong! The food is nothing special, quite frankly it’s pretty limited and worst of all… it’s so expensive for what you get! Half a panini and half a salad is at least $ 12(without a drink) !!! There are so many better places to spend your time and money !! Their service might be friendly but that doesn’t make up for everything else that’s horrible ! Don’t go here… you’re better off at subway!

So maybe this Panera has a drive thru and a killer patio, but they do say don’t judge a book by its cover. The complete exterior is fantastic until you actually take a step inside and then it all changes. SERVICE: The staff reminded me of a bunch of kids. Everyone was talking instead of getting to work! The girl taking my order was friendly but kept saying to me and every customer, «Is a baguette okay?», without giving the side options like other Panera’s. I might be sounding like a picky customer but I only mention that because she was only doing that so she didn’t have to explain side options to customers, even if they were new and had no idea there were other options! FOOD: I ordered a Chicken Greek Salad with an Apple as a side. Fifteen minutes later I got a sad looking plain Greek Salad with little toppings and a baguette. –As they were fixing the mistakes I seen another customer approach the counter with her soup. She told them that she found something in it and scooped it out with her spoon. I’m not sure what it was but it was big! Instantly employees gasped and said they were sorry. By the time I got my food, I was grossed out. My salad still turned out to be sad but I got my Apple. with a side of butter. I really enjoy Panera a lot but this location was a total turn off! I’m still grossed out by that soup and my purely just chicken with a few pieces of lettuce Salad. I feel bad for drive thru customers because the don’t know exactly what they are driving off with. Onto the next!

Let me start by saying I frequent many Panera locations across Orange County and I think they provide excellent customer service, a quality product, and a great atmosphere. This review is based off of a couple experiences, but more specifically, my most recent experience, though the drive thru at the Brea location. I pulled up to the drive thru and placed my order, and proceeded to the payment window. When I got to the payment window the whole experience was very dry. Ty, the employee at the time, greeted me with a, «Hi, $ 9.21,» holding his hand out to accept my payment. I gave him my card and he took it right inside to swipe it, and handed it back shorty after. No verbal interaction here. He returned with my food, handed it to me, I asked for extra butter, he gave me some… And that was basically it, I said«Thanks» and drove off. Now I’m not by any means saying this was a terrible experience. It just wasn’t ENJOYABLE. $ 9 is a lot to shell out for a bowl of soup and an iced tea. I would love a, «How are you tonight?» Or even a simple, «Thank you.» He seemed rushed, busy, annoyed maybe? They were possibly short staffed. I’m not sure. But I hope that whatever it is, Ty will just consider that a smile, a greeting, or a thank you, can go a long way in making someone’s day, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

My girlfriend and I order to-go from here at least once every other week, and almost every time something is messed up with our order. This time was the last straw… She just picked up an order on her way home from work for the both of us and the entire order was more than unsatisfactory. Her ½ Salad was LITERALLY3 forks of food, the avocado she paid $ 1 to add was a small mashed up sliver, one of the butter packets for our bread baguettes was already opened with half the butter missing, my asiago steak sandwich was a soggy mess of wet lettuce with almost zero meat, and my broccoli cheddar soup bowl was only half full. Feel free to eat here if you want to pay full price for LITERALLY half the amount of food usually served. I don’t know if they’re understaffed or if there’s a new manager doing a crappy job… But we’ll def be taking all of our business to the other Panera off State College or Corner Bakery.

I was greeted when I came in. Although the person at the register was not as friendly. I’m a fan of panera, just rated less stars because of poor customer service. Also because most of the food is pricey. I like that you can prepare your own coffee the way you like it and if you stay at there, you can refill as needed. Good for a long study session. Their blueberry scone is my ultimate favorite. No one makes a blueberry scone like them. Medium coffee is average priced: $ 2.29

Too long a wait at Buca de Beppo led us to forage for food at Panera. Although the French Onion soup was good, my Smoked ham and Swiss sandwich($ 6.29) was horrific. Just plain bread, ham, cheese, raw onion, lettuce and tomato. I asked them to take it back and Panini it so at least it would be melty. But it didn’t help. Yick. My husband chose much better with the Steak and White Cheddar which had grilled onions. Don’t you hate order envy?!
