There was a dog in the kitchen! A bit unnerving when there is raw fish around. Also, most of the rolls are filled with fake crab. The fish is mediocre and totally overpriced for what you get.

Love this place they make a great spicy tuna salad. Always order the spicy garlic edamame and Elvis roll. The waitress here are always nice and attentive. Fish is very fresh. Highly Recommended this place.

This place has some huge rolls and very reasonable pricing. The place itself is a bit dark and dreary for my taste but the employees were friendly and the food was good. Give it a try if you’re around.

Such a great little local gem. The rolls here are soooooo big. We always order off the specials board. Everyone that works here from the sushi chefs to the waitresses are always so welcoming and fun. I’ve heard they also have some excellent lunch specials that I need to check out.

Very good sushi, wish they did all you can eat. The fish island role is worth the money

Very good sushi. I highly recommend the albacore sushi, it’s delicious. We got the sashimi platter and it was pretty pricy but definitely worth it. It’s a small quiet restaurant and you won’t have to wait to be seated. The servers are always very polite but sometimes slow service. Overall it’s a great place.

Grabbed a take out order and it was great. I ordered a rice-less roll(forgot what it was called) but it was full of fresh fish, very tasty. I would definitely go back. The other items on the menu looked great.

I’m not sure how this place got such good reviews. I’ve been there twice now. The first time the quality was iffy, but I figured I would give them one more chance as I live across very close. Tonight I got the No rice special roll and it was terrible! It was $ 11.99 plus tax and the spicy tuna tasted and smelled like raw hamburger meat. The server asked if I didn’t like it because I didn’t eat it. I told her the issue but she couldn’t care less. I’m never going back to this place… the food is the worst. I’ve had some great sushi and some okay sushi but this place falls to the very bottom. Now my stomach is gurgling… stay away!!!

Been going here for years. More so when we lived in walking distance from it. Ever since we moved to Yorba Linda we don’t come as often. However the quality, freshness of fish and the service is always why we come back. Shark Sushi is not your mainstream sushi restaurant it’s your local neighborhood sushi bar tucked away in Northern Brea that will have you leaving fully satisfied. Never had a bad experience here. I can say this place should be on anyone’s top five sushi spots. Go here for the Dill Salmon sushi or sashimi… simply amazing. Also you can’t go wrong with the spicy tuna salad. The elvis roll is also really good here too. All in all you won’t be disappointed.

Can’t understand why this sushi store gets 4 star rating here. 2stars for the serves and 1 for the food. Came here for dinner with my wife and happened to be the only two customers. Customer serves was really good as the lady really taken care of us. However the food, Em… The Bake Salmon roll was too big and I can’t take one piece at once had to finish it by two bites, silly. They could just make it smaller and longer. Other two items we got just so-so. It’s a typically sushi spot you would expect if you live in a small town in Mid west. For their price in SoCal you got so many other better options if you like to just drive 10mins.

So dissapointed this place use to be soooooo good years and years ago The quality of the fish is poor I ordered ahi that looked brown and old I couldn’t even look at it let alone eat it They are never busy so I guess they don’t have money to buy fresh quality fish I think it is time they close there doors

So I came here with my dad on a Wednesday night to celebrate my birthday. We were greeted by everyone in Japanese as usual. Sat right by the chef at the bar. The chef was personable and always smiling. Waitresses constantly asking if we needed anything if they noticed are drink needed refilling. Popcorn lobster roll was amazing: never had anything like it. Got the sushi b combo too. Ehhh that’s good if you want to be $ 20 for a variety but I wasn’t a big fan of it but it was presented nicely. Everything was pretty clean and they even give you some wet napkins to clean your hands after. The food came out pretty quick. It was pretty packed for a Wednesday night, so can’t imagine how it would be like on a weekend. And I am very thankful for the color coded pictures. Great to see what the food actually looks like. Not a lot of sushi places provide that. This place was great, and I will come back but it did not blow my expectations away. I am very pleased with the customer service, cleanliness, and food quality but it was just another sushi joint. Not something to die for but they did a great job!

I love their fusion menu. Cilantro, ponzu, hamachi, spicy, calamari… However, execution is no. It’s top dollar for mediocre sushi. Fish is not so fresh. Almost slimey. Rice isn’t tasty, not seasoned enough. Ponzu was one dimensional, bleh. Delicious roll — 12.99 — top: albacore, jalapenos, sri racha inside: spicy yellowtail, cilantro, cuke. Ended up tossing most of it in the trash.
