Amazing craft cocktails using mostly local spirits. No TV’s, no food menu, they focus on local craft brews and cocktails. Bonus if Justin is working. Best bartender ever!

Après is good for shelter against the cold, but that’s about it, since their star bar manager Julian Colón left. His ingenuity and people skills was what truly gave Après an edge. Without him, keep your money and spend it elsewhere. Or better yet, spend it on a Kickstarter fund for him in his own bar, seriously, someone find that guy.

We found this place the first night we were in Breck, and visited every afternoon before dinner. Great selection of beer and well crafted mixed drinks. Staff was super friendly. During busy times you’ll need to go to the bar for drinks. Not a restaurant, this is purely a drinking establishment.

Best cocktails in Breck. Great selection of local draft beers, and moderate prices, compared to other vacation hot spots. Bartenders take time to talk and hang out, and they’re open early. Andddd they have cards against humanity. Done. Oh, and there’s ghosts in the apartments upstairs, you can see orbs in your photos from the street!

Nice spot Lots and lots of choices with booze and beer Not so good choices with wine No hostess or reception so it gets a bit crazy in terms of organization Bartenders are solid Get 1 – 2 waitresses and a host and watch your #‘s improve dynamically

The beer selection here was extensive but expensive. Their mixed drinks looked tasty from sitting at the bar watching them make ‘em, but neither of us had room for another. If you like an overwhelming array of choices, you’ll love this place.

Best beer selection in Breck, great cocktails, great whiskey /spirit selection. Popcorn is the food choice so if you are looking for dinner, ya pretty much gotta drink it here. For drinking? Best in Breck!

We’ve been coming here since the bar opened. The bartenders are extremely friendly and will basically concoct anything you want them to. They are extremely knowledgeable about the beer menu and of course their cocktails. I would say probably the best moscow mule I’ve ever had. And this is easily the best beer menu in Breck. The best thing is that they let you bring in food from other places and just come and relax there. We love it!

Mother of God, Moscow Mule!!! I’ve never in my life had a better Moscow Mule. Seriously, I cannot stress that enough. This bar is in a great location and has a large selection of hard liquor, ale and beer but my heart belongs in Moscow after that drink! The ginger beer makes the drink. It’s from a local Colorado Springs brewery and I love to support local so it warmed my heart metaphorically and my insides physically. I have to remind myself that things are more laid back in Breck and it’s well represented at Apres’ so I had to chill out that service was soooooo chill. Once I relaxed myself and realized I had nowhere to be but in Moscow Mule heaven I fallen in love with Apres’.

Largest beer/wine/whiskey selection I’ve ever seen! Tasty drinks and nice bartenders. Very busy place, anytime we walked by it was packed! We luckily got a seat at the bar and enjoyed ourselves. They have games you can play and it’s a casual setting so a great place to stop for a drink. Only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because out of the expansive drink list, I tried to order a drink with champagne and they were out. Seemed like an odd thing to be out of but the Moscow mule I ordered in its place was delicious.

This is my favorite bar in breck. Low key, chill, good beer and great service. If you like craft beer you should stop in here. Never once had a bad experience. These boys know what they’re doing!

Tons of beer, great(strong) cocktails, and lots of board games for the group! Après is a good change up from the other bars. It’s got a nice vibe with great beer. The bartender was friendly & helpful. PS: the Manhattan is legit. Sit by the window and enjoy some good people-watching. Grab a game, a friend, and enjoy.

If you have been sold the jungle juice and you’ve moved from Gin and juice and now require drinks to be cocktails and muddled with bitters you don’t really have a lot of choice when you are in the Denver mountains. So off we go to Apres. Tons of taps, best place to find hipsterism in Breckenridge and a good cocktail.

I mean DT’s Dark n Stormy was straight up nasty(though, 2pm cocktail trooper she is, got through at least ¾ before calling it quits) — but, for a post-hike booze, Apres is a low-key delight — as in, when we both got a litttttle to into playing Uno with each other, no one batted an eyelash. Dazedly stumbled in early afternoon covered in Deet, spandex, and the stench of nature and were shocked to find that at least 3 of the other barstools were occupied — the men likely focused on the micro jorts and sheer harlot peasant top the bartender was rocking — and us thoroughly enjoying jamming out to the country-pop on full blast. 30 beers on tap, skewing West Coast and interesting, hellllla options for hard EtOH — including no fewer than 20 bourbons and mother-ton of whisky as well. Singles range from $ 8 – 27, doubles will run $ 11 – 35. In the cocktail dept, was mightily tempted by the sage shandy and the loquat shrub collins — but for traditionalists, they also have all the stds(manhattan, old fashioned, Pimms — though why would would get one on this side of the pond is beyyyyyond me — piscos, etc) — as well as a ton of shots if you’re looking to get wild. Beer is generally $ 5 – 8 per pint, thought can run up to $ 12 if you get sups fancy. Brewski flights, $ 12 – 15, spirit flights $ 16 – 36, cocktails $ 9 — 12, shooters, $ 4 – 6. Oh, final word — to all the other lightweights out there — no food served… so plan your snacking accordingly unless you’re looking to get slops. Also. Lots of love for the jenga/cards/board games sitch.

Unique bar with SOOOMANYTAPS! I was super impressed as I took a seat at the bar. The bar tender was really accommodating and managing the whole place single-handed. What impressed me the most was the out-of-place bottle of Saffron Bitters. I have never seen or heard of this rendition of bitters, but I wish I had tried a cocktail with them… I did not.

While strolling around Main Street working off our dinner, we happened upon this newer place. My boyfriend had pre-researched«the best beer restaurants» in Breck but had missed this one! Maybe because it is not a restaurant(no food available), but certainly has a great beer menu!(I’m giving three stars because the bartender decided to pay more attention to the two pretentious couples also sitting at the bar only talking about themselves, how expensive their weddings were and money, money, money. We did not want to engage, but I guess the bartender was interested). Not only do they have handles and handles of interesting beers on tap, they also have some very interesting libations and even make their own bitters and infusions. When we stopped by it was a pretty low key laid back night. There was one bartender on duty, so go to the bar to order before taking a seat at a table, if you prefer. We chose the bar and several beer tasters! They also have a lot of bottles to choose from. I am sure their menu changes a lot, so it would be hard to name the beers here to get your hopes up and then they do not have it anymore, sorry! Still, whether you like beer or interesting cocktails(they will even make one up for you on the spot), give it at try. If you get bored of conversation choose one of their games to play at the table. We played at the bar and had a blast!

If you’re gonna come here, order a beer. If you order hot chocolate like I did you’ll get a mug of watery Swiss Miss from a packet and you’ll deserve it. They’ve got a million beer on tap. They don’t serve food but you can bring your own food in. The bf ordered a Maui Coconut Porter and it was pretty good. Good service and very chill ambiance.

It doesn’t have the selections of rum I prefer, but Julian the bar tender makes up for it with great suggestions. I’m not a fan of the classic manhattan, but I’m a convert! At least for his version. Inventive, balanced, and delicious! Oh, and excellent beer selection. I didn’t get to try any(too busy with the cocktails) but I’m familiar with many. Look, breck is changing, and not for the better, but if this were the standard for the upscale, I’d be happy.

Was at another bar and came here as refuge since there are no TVs, and the last thing I wanted to do was watch my fantasy football leagues fail miserably.(They didn’t at the end, in case you’re wondering.) It was empty except for two older women(40s/50s?) and the bar tender at the end of the bar… Was about to put my bag down on one of the chairs when the bar tender asked if I wanted to go on a ghost tour. A what? Yes I absolutely do… Exactly what I needed. Not being sarcastic. Although I didn’t get to experience the ghost Sylvia, it was a fun 15⁄20 minute mental break and compulsion to check fanduel. The two women left, and I was alone with the bar tender for maybe 15 minutes and then a guy walked in. The three of us talked about music and Bob Dylan… They were both really cool and again, fanduel was not on my mind. The guy left, and two customers came in. Mother and daughter I’m pretty sure. The bar tender entertained us the whole time otherwise I would have been checking my phone every two minutes. He suggested all these cocktails since I was drinking boring vodka tonic. One of them he invented and it was SO. GOOD. I had two but I could have kept pounding them if they weren’t kind of elaborate to make(egg whites involved, ask for it.) Then the women left, and three or four young guys came in. Like in most cases when I’m around guys I somehow become one of them. Although it wasn’t a busy night, I had so much fun meeting new people. Such a different and refreshing feeling than New York bars. Also didn’t hurt that the bar tender was really attractive. Wish I remembered his name and got his phone number. Just kidding… No I’m not.
