Smelled like a litter box inside. Came here with a group of 6, sat down at the table and the bartender looked at us but never came over to serve. Waited for 10 minutes before deciding to try a different bar that would actually serve you drinks. Bartender seemed more interested in talking with his friends than working

Excellent bar with fantastic service. My husband and I are very new to absinthe and not a fan of black licorice. That was no problem at all! Anita set me up with an absinthe drink that tasted like a tasty Andes mint… and was apparently 140 proof! Since that went so well we entrusted ourselves to Anita to pick an absinthe that we would enjoy. She picked us a very tasty one that was more gin like than anything. She explained the process of mixing it with nearly frozen water to change the molecular structure. We are looking forward to bringing our friends in a few days.

Fantastic vibe inside, and an extremely nice an knowledgeable waitstaff. You’ll probably find an absinthe that you like– they seem to have them all. If you don’t they have a good selection of import beers. This is a must visit in Breck!

Amazing experience! First time in Breckenridge so I felt it a must to stop in here. Anita is very knowledgeable, nice fun and polite and made our experience top notch. I tried the cinnamon absinthe — I believe and it was superb. The only thing is Anita fair warmed us on the potency of the absinthe that I only had 1. It definitely gave me a body high to the point that our walk in –8 degree weather bearable. However, I could have had more than one because it wasn’t very strong to me. I know she was just being pre-​cautious but she’s loosing out on money haha.
We had a great time and we will come back next Breckenridge trip!

My friends and I came over to Absinthe for none other than Absinthe. The bartender (such a sweetheart) was extremely knowledgeable. She was very attentive and personable so we invited 5 others who elected to order the special (absinthe + beer). When we paid, she gave the original crew the original discount. Great drinks! Great staff!

Horrible service. As a service industry worker I’m pretty chill and don’t complain, but these were the biggest a-​holes I’ve ever encountered. The bartender half poured two drinks for a friend and I; since the bottle was almost empty she seemed not to care we didn’t get at least a proper pour (oz worth). After tasting, the drink, I politely tried to reconcile the matter but got shut out and told I was wrong and should be grateful for the $ 3 whiskey special. Worst, backwoods, bar anyone could go to.

Came in out of the cold in search of an experience local to Breck. We found it here in this basement bar with great food service, excellent music selection, and to be honest, our first crack at trying Absinthe. On their recommendation, we tried the Marteau, and if you enjoy the taste of black licorice, this will be like drinking candy. Such a friendly atmosphere and unique experience, we would recommend this to anyone looking to try something new. So much fun!

We spent a week in Breckenridge. This was the most enjoyable evening, drinking at the best bar in town. Ineta, the manager made that happen. Three meals a day for a week. This was the best.

So if you’re looking for a drinking experience that goes against the norm I strongly suggest wandering downstairs to the Absinthe bar on main. Their obvious highlight is their incredibly vast absinthe selection, but they also have a full bar. The hospitality in this place is unbelievable. The down to earth staff was completely interactive, attentive, and helpful, but beyond that the owners are just genuinely great people.
Me and my girlfriend were wasted in a closed down town Breckenrdige with no ride back to where we were staying. The owners husband then offered to take us home and got us back safe. That would never happen in Dallas!
Great drinks, great service, great atmosphere. I will be visiting this place every time I visit Breck. Go ask for Anita the owner/​service extraordinaire!
