Skiway Lodge

We stayed here last night for a wedding at ten mile station.
Room 3 was spacious, on the top floor, and had a great balcony. The carpet seemed new and everything was clean. I will say though that I agree with other reviewers that it could get loud. I could hear someone talking in the room next to us.
For the price, space, location, and privacy, we will definitely be back.

We WOULD ABSOLUTELY stay here again. Love this little hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights during our 5^th year wedding anniversary.
Rooms are great — not fancy but just right — nice and «homey» feeling. Just what we wanted. The whole hotel is quiet and calm. Staff is great — Kylee is the sweetest. Location is perfect — walking distance to everything.
There are some minor repairs to be made with the locks being hard to open and a window needing repair to open BUT other than that there really are no complaints.
If you are a little more high maintenance and need constant service and attention from hotel staff, you will not get it here as the managers/​owners leave around 5pm. With that said, we were absolutely okay with that. We are not high demanding customers. We were out and about the town all day and night and wanted to return to a quiet and private hotel that felt almost like home — this was that place. Just right.
Just a suggestion: let’s keep our kids at home. Let’s keep this place quiet and adults only. I would love for this to be a yearly getaway with my husband! :)

Great place for couples, but if someone else brings kids (which happened while we were there) you may not get much sleep. The place is like an old large house so you can hear everything above you and beside you. I think our experience there would have been perfect if people just hadn’t let their five year olds run wild.
On the bright side, you have easy access to slopes, lovely rooms, and an extremely nice manager. Cookies are always out along with hot chocolate and water. Oh and the hot tubs were fantastic and never crowded.

We just stayed here on last minute vacation. The staff was great, friendly and definitely good with the Happy Hour recommendation.
Room was nice, clean, and up to date. Location to the Main Street shops and bars was perfect and possibly the biggest selling point for my wife and I. Also had the Skiway Skyway right out the back — just ski right down, pop off your skis, and bring them right into the storage room.
The lodge is quiet and most of the time I did not even notice anyone else staying there even though it was fully booked. We will definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Breckenridge.

Nice clean place an excellent location it’s really a ski in and the bus picks up across the street which is better than the ski out option. A good place, especially for the price if you use the
25% off for 4 nights or more.

Has just about everything you want in a ski condo: elegant rooms, balconies, fireplace, hot tub and plenty of privacy. The common areas are quite welcoming, as they’re stocked with games, magazines and chairs that your butt will love. They also provide you with wonderful bathrobes for that (very short) trek to the hot tub. Excellent Wifi connection, and each room has a DVD player and flat-​screen TV.
Great location, too, as it’s right off the «4 o’ clock» run of the Breckenridge ski area. Technically, this is «ski in, ski out». The «ski in» portion is awesome, as you can ski right up to steps on the backside of the place.
While you can «ski out», I don’t think you’d want to. You’ll enter onto the tail end of «4 o clock» and ski downhill about ¹⁄₈ mile to the end of the run. at which point you have to take your skis off, walk across a road (or through a lengthy tunnel) then take a gondola to a lift. Better option is to walk out the front door, then cross the street and wait for a ski-​bus. This way you only have to wait once and you can start your skiing without any hassles. But that’s the fault of Breckenridge, not the Skiway Lodge. This place is top-​notch.
