I went to Blaze with two coworkers today and we shared 3 of their personal pizzas. FAST When I got there, the line was pretty long. While I was waiting for my friends to show, the line disappeared. When we put in our orders, we got seated and after a VERY short wait, they called out our names to come get our pizzas. These guys are FAST and have a very good, hot oven that pumps out the pies. GOOD Wow. Great pizza! We ordered the Green Stripe with pesto, grilled chicken, roasted peppers, garlic, and arugula White Top with white sauce, bacon, garlic, oregano, and arugula(added mushrooms) BBQ Chicken with chicken, red onion, banana peppers, gorgonzola, bbq sauce drizzle The BBQ Chicken was my least favorite. The White Top and Green Stripe were excellent. These guys know how to build a pizza. If you overload a pizza with toppings, all of the moisture in the toppings prevents the crust from crisping, or makes it go soggy very quickly. Blaze uses a spare hand with the toppings, a good dough, and a hot oven to deliver a nice pizza with a crisp crust that gives you a balanced set of flavors with each bite. The personal size is perfect for a hardy eater, and at around 700 to 800 calories per pie, it is really all you need for a pretty big lunch. The ingredients are quite good. The applewood smoked bacon is high quality and very flavorful. It gives the White Top an amazing overall flavor. The arugula is fresh and applied to the pie just after it leaves the oven, so it just has time to slightly wilt by the time it gets to the table. These little touches really yield a superior product. I lived in the NYC area for 13 years, and this is not a NY Pie, but this is a really excellent artisan pizza. I went to Desano Pizza in the Gulch and paid a lot more for some excellent pizza, and Blaze delivers a different, but equally superior product. CHEAP What can I say? $ 7.50 per pie. For the quality, that is a really good price. CONCLUSION Go. Eat. Enjoy.

Fantastic service, affordable prices, and a great pizza to order. If you are in the area shopping or work in Brentwood, I recommend coming here for a delicious pizza in a short turnaround. I will be back!

Walking in I did not know what to expect with this type of pizza place and the assembly line. After ordering the traditional pepperoni, I am surprised and delighted on how good it is. It is fresh and best of all it tastes great. I’ll be coming back.

Great pizza! Pricing is great, and they will add on as many toppings as you want, for no additional cost. Fast service, and good pizza. Worth a visit.

This is a great place to have a quick and delicious pizza. I went during lunch on a weekday and it was crowded but they did an excellent job of getting everyone through quickly. I made my own pie which was great because you can pick out exactly what you want and there is no limit or extra charge to add toppings. If you are in the mood for something fresh and quick this is a great spot to checkout.

The BBQ was decent. The ingredients were a little sparse on the pizza. But $ 11 for pizza and drink isn’t bad.

It’s like a Chipotle but for pizza so don’t expect super gourmet food. A really great concept but in order to cook pizza within 10 mins or so the crust is super thin, and unless you ask them to put more sauce and cheese and toppings, your pizza will be on the skimpy side. The pizza tastes pretty good despite all that and service is fast and friendly. My husband and I will probably come back again.

Imagine if Subway and your favorite local pizza joint had a kid. Now imagine that kid getting beat up on the playground every day by Blaze Pizza cause it’s just that much better. Love this place and I keep going back. There’s always a line but they’re well staffed so even if you find yourself propping the door open when you first get there you’ll be placing your order within the next 10 minutes. For a reasonable price you don’t have to settle for a couple toppings– Get em all! Also you gotta add a Smore!

There was a buzz around Blaze opening. Multiple employees walked into the office with pizza boxes in hand told me how excited they were to try Blaze. The pizza looked and smelled good. We provide lunch for 40 people four times a week. They wanted it. I wanted to make them happy. I wanted Blaze to provide us lunch. I walked in one afternoon to check the place out. Modern interiors, new pizza concept, great branding and marketing. The guy behind the counter assured me they love doing larger orders and suggested I pick the pizzas up around 11 am(before the lunch rush). This was perfect. Most places I pick up lunch between 10:30 — 10:45 am to feed my hungry crowd at 11 am. Our office is close and we get food from Blaze’s neighbor, Taziki’s all the time. My crew selected the«Signature Pizzas» they wanted and I email the Brentwood Blaze Monday morning to let them know I’d have an order of 35 pizzas for them Friday.(I like to give restaurants plenty of time because I’m nice like that.) Wednesday afternoon I got a call saying they don’t have hot boxes to keep the pizzas warm and the online ordering only takes 10 orders at a time. They«didn’t want to discourage me» but didn’t feel they could provide 35 pizzas for us. Really? 1. The pizza box is designed to insulate and keep the delicious insides warm. This is a product that has been crafted over YEARS of R+D from many pizza joints. 2. I am more than willing to email the list and names of people and orders(which is what I do to other restaurants). 3. I offered to bring my order to the restaurant(because we are 5 minutes away) and still they were reluctant. 4. I can potentially have a large recurring order. What would they have done if I walked in at 11 am with an order for 35 pizzas? Turned me away? The«1» is not for the pizza(which I haven’t tried, nor ever will) but for the poor customer service from a potential regular customer. I guess their profit margins are good and they don’t need our business. Just be careful with those really hot ovens and don’t burn down community bridges.

Strengths: Friendly staff. Quick service. Good pizza. Opportunities: Skimpy with toppings especially with cheese. Burned. Summary: Not bad for a quick bite. Real thin crust different than anything else in the area. Will come back. Watch for burned edges.

It’s a chain without frills, but I like it. I am usually anti-chain anything, but I really prefer thin crust pizzas, and most wood-fired ovens leave a molten center. These hold up pretty well and I like the choice of «adult» toppings like arugula, roasted garlic, kalamata olives, goat cheese etc… Quick, even with a line, affordable(I get 2 meals from my pizza!) and the kids are happy because they are in control of their pizza. Everyone wins. I might try ordering online and bringing home since I can skip the noise of the actual dining area.

I’m giving 5 stars because I think the concept, price point, convenience, and fast timing makes up for the pizza not being the BEST I’ve ever had. That being said, the pizza was still great(I haven’t met a pizza I didn’t like), I ate the whole thing and would go back for lunch.

Blaze Pizza is the best! My coworkers and I must have Blaze at least once a week. It’s excellent pizza, it’s fast, and we always have a great experience. Choose your crust, your toppings, and bam… you’re enjoying hot, delicious pizza. It’s that simple. Pro tip: If you’re in a hurry, pre-order online. They do not take phone-in orders, and their site is easy to use and efficient.

This place got lots of buzz, so I thought I’d give it a try. The line was out the door at 2:00 in the afternoon. It’s the same concept as Pie Five — you order whatever ingredients you want for the same price, and it cooks in just a few minutes. While waiting in line, I decided to pick my own toppings. I wonder what unusual toppings they have. Are they listed on menus in the line? Nope. A sign on the wall? Couldn’t see one. Listed on the big menu board? Nah. I couldn’t really choose my toppings until I got to the serving line, and I felt very rushed. The line moved fairly slow because this was a huge bottleneck. The rest of the line moved fast. And the place was LOUD. You know how it is when you’re listening to music on earbuds and your friend pretends to talk to you but doesn’t make any sound? That’s what it was like trying to talk to the people making my pizza. I finally started nodding my head, agreeing to whatever they said. It’s good pizza but I hate the restaurant. I like Pie Five better.

My friend’s Mom was craving this place so she went to get some and let me and hubby pick one of the two pizzas(thanks!!). It’s specifically thin crust which I love but hubby usually hates, so I was excited to see how it would turn out. We picked the Meat Lover(because hubby is just a meat person). I didn’t expect to like it(because I like veggies too) but I really really did. The meatballs were the highlight of each slice and I tried to spread them out to enjoy the flavor rather than eat them all in one bit. I was a little sad there weren’t more and that the pizzas were so small but all in all we both enjoyed it and we would love to go back. Liked: Meat Lover Nah: White Top

I’ve visited the Blaze in Knoxville once so I was pretty familiar with what to expect but wanted to see the new location. This location is in the new Executive Park complex across the street from the Starbucks and Chipotle in Brentwood. When you walk in, the interior is nicely appointed, open, new, and fresh. It makes you feel a little bit more hip just for gracing them with your presence during a business lunch, which isn’t bad. As far as the pizzas go, you come in and make your order in a Chipotle-esque line. If you’re familiar with Your Pie, you know how this will go. You can customize your pizza any way you like it but their menu options are actually really well put together. Today, I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza which included chicken, gorgonzola, mozzarella, red onions, and bbq sauce. I added mushrooms because why not. The gorgonzola on the BBQ pizza was the unique flavor that really set this meal apart. It was a sharp tang to the sweet, light BBQ sauce and chicken flavors familiar to this style of pizza. I enjoyed it quite a lot. Pros: Some of the flavor combinations are super unique and different which makes the meal interesting. I also really like the environment and relaxed ordering system. The smell of fresh pizza permeating the space helps as well. Cons: As with any«make your own» place, you can kill your own good meal just by adding too many things. Stick with the options on the menu and you’ll be fine. It’s not quite as flavorful as Your Pie to me which earns it four stars instead of five but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Overall: Unique flavor combinations and a good list of veggie/lighter options make this spot a great go-to for the business lunch crowd in Brentwood.

Open on a strip mall in the Brentwood area, snappy looking outside which wants you to just walk I’m and eat. The pizza are decent quality I would say it a more like a chipotle experience on a pizza. Cook time is fast and as long as u keep your toppings to a minimum its a good lunch experience on the weekdays. Interior 4⁄5. Food. 3.5÷5

I’m sort of a snob when it comes to pizza. So, it’s hard to impress me. Nashville is getting some great pizza places recently. And Blaze is one of them! The concept is like subway or chipotle — but with pizza. You pick your crust, your sauce, your cheese(and you can have more than one cheese) and all the toppings you want. 2 toppings or 10… Or pick one of their specialties. The price is the same. They do it right in front of you and your pizza is cooked in 3 minutes. I got regular crust, spicy marinara sauce, mozzarella and Gorgonzola, Italian sausage, pepperoni, banana peppers and finished with oregano and sea salt. AMAZING! It does seem to be very new so it appear that they are just getting the hand of everything. But I can see this becoming very popular! I can’t wait to return!

Located in a new retail area on Franklin Rd in Brentwood, Blaze is bright, colorful and spacious. As one of the few tenants open right now, parking was easily found. Upon entering, you place your order at a counter and your pizza is assembled as you go, in a Moe’s or subway shop fashion. The pizza is then baked in 3 minutes. I love the simplicity of ordering, and that they have thin crust dough. All pizzas are the same size(11″) and for a flat price of $ 7.85, you can get as many toppings as you want. If you want just one topping and cheese, the price is $ 6.25. There’s a choice of three different sauces, various cheeses and meats, and a colorful array of vegetables. They also offer 8 signature pies for $ 7.85. I opted for the simple pie($ 5) with just sauce, mozzarella and parmesan, since I was more interested in the salads today. They offer 4 side and 2 entrée salads, all made fresh in house. I had the tomato, basil and ovalini salad — a very substantial portion of arugula, basil, cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella with a thick balsamic dressing. It was almost enough to be an entrée salad and a steal at $ 3.85. My total with drink came to $ 11…very reasonable for Brentwood. I also have to mention the drinks. They have the typical soda fountain and iced teas then lemonade and blood orange lemonade, which was so tangy, sweet and refreshing on a warm Spring day! My only teeny tiny complaint was that it was pretty loud in there. It was okay for a table of 2, but I imagine it would be difficult for a large group to hear each other. Perhaps turn the music down a bit during weekday lunches. Otherwise, I loved Blaze and will definitely return.
