Boards ‘N More

I love these small boutique. they spend time the time and you get the the warm and fuzzy feeling; they also made sure you know what you’re buying. Case in point, I came in here yesterday wanted to buy a nice skateboard for my son. I didn’t want any of those cheap $ 20.00 plastic one so I thought I give this place a try. I walked into this place without knowing anything about skateboard but she navigate and took the time to explain the different types of boards, wheels, style etc. She even showed me how to swap out the trick wheel with the cruising wheels.
When all said and done, my board cost me $ 180 but this was with a custom Star Wars grip lining, spare set of wheels, and a whole bunch of other fancy stuff.
I’m always glad to pay extra for service like this…

What a great experience. Friendly and professional owner. This store is a perfect example of why I still enjoy walking into a brick and mortar store for my purchases.

This place is AWESOME!!! I’m a total bikini addict & this place (and it’s sister store in Discovery Bay) has one of the best selections I’ve seen in the Bay Area!
They have all kinds of swimwear for all different shapes & body types, they even have clothing, shorts, dresses, sandals, hats, skateboards, tank tops & tons of men’s stuff too!
The owner is super nice & very friendly, she does all of the ordering & she’s very good at it! They even have 60 day layaway here, so there’s no excuse to not go crazy & buy a bunch of stuff, you’ve got 2 months to pay your bill off! Sweeeeet!!!
If you see something you like, but they don’t have your size, make sure you ask, because they can check their computer & your size may be at a different store location!
This place is the epitome of an awesome small business & we need to shop here to keep this place open! We’re so lucky to have these stores so close to us!
Oh yeah, and this is mainly a spring/​summer store, so they hours are longer & they’re open almost 7 days a week when the weather is warm. The hours on Unilocal aren’t always seasonally accurate, so call first!

Yesterday, while wandering around the farmers market, I stopped by this cute little shop on the corner of 1^st and Oak. I was taken in by the Sale rack on the outside of the place. I was looking for a swimsuit cover up and possibly a little sundress for an upcoming Bachelorette Vegas trip I have planned. The young lady that helped me was very sweet. I usually don’t like to be bothered when shopping but she was very helpful. I picked a few cover ups and dresses to try on. While trying stuff on in the dressing room, she brought me more cute dresses to try on. I actually loved everything she picked. The customer service was great, the prices were a little high, but over all it was a great experience and I would definitely come back!

Just wanted to say, hooray for the new location! Very nice spot; same great service & selection as the other location :)
