I have purchased furniture from both Sprintz and Haverty’s over the years and I have to admit the service and care at Haverty’s is truly excellent and ahead of their competition. Delivery times have always been accurate and I love their online feature to track the delivery truck so you know when they are on their way. I have also found them willing to negotiate price.

Dear customers, please be sure to buy the Guardsman Gold Protection plan because you will need it! The products we received /purchased all looks excellent but be afraid very afraid. The quality the products have been tested for two months and crap is breaking and Havertys will not do anything about it, they send you to Guardsman(only if your purchased it for an additional $ 500) which takes for ever to get any action and so far not to our satisfaction. I’m confused on the term Top Drawer customer service, maybe basement fits better. The sales person was very good but after that…

When we visited the store, we were greeted promptly by Jim which was great except he smells like a chain smoker and followed us around a bit too much. We found what we liked and decided to make our purchase online. Our couch arrived within a week, and the delivery was very flawless. The drivers were quick and professional. We love our new Parker sectional.

Currently in the market for a new couch. Ours has decided to sag more than a south central gang member. We entered Havertys mainly because it’s in the same shopping center as Rooms To Go & Ashley. The last time I’d been in Havertys was about 5 years ago & I wasn’t very impressed then. Upon checking in, I got a Unilocal badge for high roller or something. I’m not really sure what that’s all about but this place isn’t as expensive as Sprintz, however their quality of furniture doesn’t look as good as Sprintz either. We were greeted by a woman named Gina who was nice & told us that the sale currently going on had«different points in which you got a certain amount off». She didn’t tell us at what price point you got what off & I didn’t care to ask. We walked around the store and noticed a few nice things. Most of the items looked quality, some looked a little cheap. There was a mix. The prices were on the high side. We didn’t stay too long because we didn’t know what the sale was. I did notice that as we walked the big circle around the store that Gina had hawk eyes on us. As I left as saw us & I have a wave & a thank you.

Soooooo it took over 6 weeks to get the furniture — seemed long, but to get what you want, ok. We’ll have it for a much longer time, 6 weeks will be worth the wait. Unless…the furniture is WRONG! They sent the wrong couch — and then tried to use a jedi mind trick telling us it was the right couch??? This is what my receipt says, this is what you sent me — 2 different things! What’s better? It was the general manager treating us like crap and being completely disrespectful. The fish stinks from the head down. If you have to have Haverty’s furniture — DONOTGOTOTHISSTORE… their customer service sucks out loud… horrible the way the leader of the team treats CUSTOMERS.

I purchased a complete bedroom suite from Havertys last week. My saleswoman Kate was amazing and I highly recommend her. She is great at her job and guided me through the furniture options quickly and with good knowledge of the products and inventory. Once I made my selection, I was able to get a delivery date in 3 days which was great as other furniture stores had quoted over 4 weeks for delivery. The evening after I bought the furniture I realized the dresser was too big for my space and Kate easily switched me to the chest with no issues and it was delivered correctly. Delivery was on time, super easy, and seamless. I would absolutely recommend Havertys and ask for Kate.

You know, my experience at Haverty’s was great. Joyce was super helpful. Unlike other furniture stores I visited, you are greeted warmly and left alone to browse and make your selections. Joyce was available when needed-again, very helpful and not at all pushy. Here’s hoping the delivery and set up go as well as the purchasing. I have a feeling it will. :)
