Homewood Suites

Regrettably I booked my stay at this hotel due to the reviews. Upon arriving and checking into my room I had a completely different experience. The hallways reek of cigarette smoke, the room was in need of repairs and a good cleaning and there were dead bugs in my room. Very disappointing.

From the moment you walk in, this hotel delivers a welcoming, clean home environment. The staff we encountered were amazingly polite, accommodating and helpful. When you encounter staff that are all smiling, that sets the tone for a great experience. The rooms are exceptional and better than more expensive hotels that I have stayed at. This hotel has just become my favorite in Nashville.

HEAVY METAL!
If you’ve got long hair, and love black this is the place for you METAL! Sleep all day and stay up all night thrashing to the sounds of 1,000 pound dumpsters being dropped repeatedly.
The hotel is located in a business park, and evidently Waste Management makes the garbage pickups for the park between 2 and 5 am, picking up and dropping dumpsters with their trucks. Not the fault of the hotel, but pretty disturbing if you want to… uh…sleep. You know, that thing hotels are made for.
As far as the facility itself, it’s a Homewood, if you spend any amount of time on the road that should be all you need to know. They’re pretty standardized. The staff was pleasant, especially Brent at the desk.

Great place to stay, great customer service, and such a wonderfully clean Suite. I will be staying there again when I return to Brentwood, TN. I was impressed!

This placed is over priced for what you get. It looks like they’ve tried to update the hotel with new furnishings and carpet in the lobby, but the rooms are tired and the bathrooms need to be updated. Our bathroom had mildew in the caulk around the tub and the baseboards and trim had quite a bit of water damage. The staff was friendly, but didn’t seem to stay on top of things as well as they could have. For example, there were wet towels setting on the tables by the pool for three days before they were picked up.

Breakfast every morning 6 AM to 10 AM.
Huge number of options… Don’t waste money on Starbucks next door. Grab the same coffee in breakfast here. They also have complimentary food from 5 pm to 7 pm. Usually a dinner menu.
Suites are well maintained. Cleaned and hygienic linens with fresh smell can be found in the room.
A good lay out with a living room and French door leading into the bedroom however sofas and carpet are outdated and look very dull. A full kitchen with vessels is provided along with the refrigerator.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Very dated, breakfast/​dinner inedible and carpets badly stained. If you are used to the Hilton standard you are in for a surprise here. I come to Franklin/​Nashville area frequently and as nice as the service is I just don’t think I will be able to stay here again.
I’ve stayed at other Homewood Suites across the country and this one is definitely not what I’ve experienced before.

I liked this place, it was nice and clean. The managers reception on weekdays was good as well. The front desk staff can be a little friendlier but apart from that it was a clean place, good parking and gives you a good homely feeling. The breakfast was good here as well. Close to a lot of good places to eat, the traffic around can get a bit heavy during the evening. The hotel is a good option if you want to be close to some of the corporate office. A lot of things in walking distance.

Stayed here for almost a week during moving time and it was a nice quiet friendly hotel in a great location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast area was spacious and well appointed compared to a lot of places. They have a small room with computers for internet access which was nice while traveling and checking on things.

Picked this location based on past experience with Homewood Suites and their location (convenient for meeting friends in the area). This was a great property; clean, and staffed with helpful folks who made things go smoothly. We greatly enjoyed it and will stay here again. Added bonus, they’re close to lots of shopping and restaurants, so there’s plenty to do in the evenings.

Last week was my first time staying at a Homewood Suites, and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. There’s a free breakfast and a free «light dinner» (M-​Th) as they call it, although I am not sure if chicken & dumplings, green beans, biscuits, and a salad should be considered light! Both complimentary meals aren’t five stars by any means, but if you’re on a budget, it’s definitely something to consider. It’s better than your usual Hampton Inn (another Hilton chain) or Best Western.
The staff were friendly, and the room was kept clean. I liked how the housekeeper noticed I wasn’t able to find the second trash can under the sink, so she subtly left the door under the sink open a crack to hint the location of the kitchenette’s trash can. I guess she figured out I was annoyed at throwing away paper plates in the bathroom trash can!
I also like the spaciousness of the rooms, since they are actual suites. There is a living room, kitchenette, bed, and large bathroom. The hallway didn’t smell musty or smoky, in contrast to the Best Westerns where I’ve stayed previously. The hotel is older, but that is something that can’t be helped. Pool hours state closure at 10PM, but since there’s no lock, people can stay at the pool, provided they’re quiet.
Free parking, free wifi, and a complimentary newspaper are included in the room. I really liked the suite, and it’s considerably cheaper here than Embassy Suites (another Hilton chain). I was here for work, so the hotel served its purpose, but I’m now definitely on the lookout for other locations of this particular hotel.
