I used to like this place and would have given them 4 stars, but there’s this rewards program wherein you get a free sandwich after 100 points. I asked the last time I was in for my total and was told it was 25.50. I knew that couldn’t be right, so I went home and checked my account online. it showed 123.0 points. I took my receipt and the printout of my account back to the shop. The person I spoke to wasn’t very helpful or friendly. She told me someone would contact me. Well… I’m still waiting. Plus the guy who took my order was so busy ogling the female next to me, he forgot my avocado. Guess it’s back to Togo’s.

I love Mr. Pickles but today I received the WORST customer service! I called an order in for pick up. Chris took our order. I told him everything and he did not ask any questions. He told me 20 minutes. My boyfriend went to pick it up and it was not even started because they said I said small sandwiches and they thought that meant half size. My boyfriend waited. When he got home, he opened his sandwich and there was mustard on his and I EXPLICITLY told them no mustard because my boyfriend is allergic. So I decided to call to complain. Chris answered the phone with, «Mr. Pickles. This is Chris.» I said I would like to talk to the manager. He told me they weren’t available and proceeded to take my name and number. I then asked him to reiterate his name to me. He said, «Marcos.» I said, «That’s interesting because you said Chris at the beginning which is the same person who took out order.» I told him he was really bad at his job and he hung up on me. I am seriously appalled and will NEVER eat at that place again! So rude!

I have had the best service here from two young men, Mason and Ryan. Very friendly and personable. Sandwiches are always made very well. My favorite is the #4(Tom Turkey) and I have them add avocado. Bread is always fresh and the store is always very clean! Love the cookies too! Good Job men! Keep it up!

Well — unfortunately they are not open during dinner hours for the holidays. Too bad… As my family of five wanted Mr. Pickles and after getting all their orders, have to start all over again. I guess Panda Express gets our business instead. In the time it’s taken to write this, two more families have to find another place to spend dinner dollars too… :-(

Best customer service I’ve had in the whole area in any establishment of any kind. As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by the owner and two employees. The service was fast and the food(I ordered a Reuben sandwich and a side) was incredibly good(I’ve never had better). Give ‘em a try. I’ve been into two other«Mr. Pickles’» locations and this one was noticeably superior. Can’t remember the owner’s name(although he introduced himself), but it is clear that management makes a difference. These folks are good.

I think we’ve been here maybe one time before. Today I didn’t know what I wanted so classic me I decided to have the sandwich maker make me a sandwhich. You should never eat at a place where you wouldn’t trusted the food preparer /Chef to prepare your food to their liking. Mason was the latest«victim». He was a good sport and he put together a great sandwhich, I’m not really picky and I really couldn’t tell you what was in it… so I’m gonna call it the Mason-ator. Great job Mason… we’ll be back.

Loved the service more than the sandwich — not that the sandwich was bad… just great service. The owner(I’m assuming) promptly greeted us at the door and we were instantly called up to order our sandwiches. I ordered the BBQ Chicken sandwich(hot) which was amazing and my husband got the turkey/avocado/cream cheese which he liked but said that the sourdough was a little hard. The sandwiches were a tad expensive, but that’s alright… we’ll be back!

Bad customer service. Expensive. Young people with attitudes. Too bad, first visit was wonderful! Second time was not so good. Order was wrong and messy. This last visit on Friday 6÷5÷15 will be our last. The young guys just don’t care, and it shows. The only redeeming part of our visit was the guy running the register. He’s all about the customers.(TJ on the receipt) and one other sandwich maker(young man with reddish hair, big guy) No other people there afforded us any courtesy. We were pointed toward the register instead of being able to see our food being made. Sorry, we will not be spending our money there again.

Usually it’s a five star guarantee from this place. In Antioch anyway. But today was a joke. Young kids bullshitting with each other rather than making my sandwiches right. One had no veggies at all. One that I asked for extra lettuce had barely any. No chit chat that I have grown accustomed to at mr pickles shops. The management needs to correct this problem. I’d rather drive an extra fifteen minutes to Antioch than return to this location. Get your shit together.

I love mr. pickles and have been going to their since they opened their original store in Antioch(before it moved) I have never had any issues with customer service or quality of the ingredients. Does it take a little longer for the employees to make the sandwich? No, not an outrageous time, and not so long that I gotta complain about it. I feel like some people exaggerate the 5 min they wait and say it’s 15 –_– people seem to forget they are making it by hand and not a machine!

I had a great experience at this mr. Pickle. First time here and I used the advice of fellow Unilocalers. I got both me and coworkers sandwich with dutch crunch bread. We shared the Reuben and the Reggie reggie. The girl making the sandwiches was very fast and I was in and out in no time. How were the sandwiches? Really good! I’ll def. Get the Reuben again! And my coworker loved the reggie reggie so I’ll probably get that for her again… or maybe we’ll try something diff.

I always get the Reggie Reggie in Livermore and the quality and the amount of condiments that brentwood serves are not the same standards as livermore. Also, there were 2 employees behind the counter not doing anything yet I had to wait for another employee who was making another customer’s sandwich and then it was my turn. Not sure if the other 2 were on break but it looked more like laziness to me. The cashier was nice. I wasn’t impressed. I love the livermore location though.

Oh how I wish I could rate this place better as I absolutely love the sandwiches at Mr. Pickles. I’ve been to many locations around the Sacramento area, so when this opened up closer to home, I was very excited. There were five employees, three customers, and ZERO acknowledgement and organization of who was available to make a sandwich. Also, the MUSIC is WAYTOOLOUD. Every single Mr. Pickles I’ve ever been to has had Excellent Customer Service and a pleasant atmosphere.. .This is not one of those locations. I want to blame the teenagers behind the counter for the poor customer service, but I think its management that needs to kick these kids in motion.. .and control what’s being played for the loud speakers. All in all, I’ll go to a different sandwich shop and forget this place ever opened up and you should do the same.

I came in today with my dad in the afternoon and I feel so bad for not catching her name, but a female employee who was wearing a red shirt helped us. I think she could tell by the way we got in position to order that we were total newbies to the whole Mr. Pickles experience. She promptly finished making a sandwich for someone else before assisting us. Although it would have been great if the three teenage employees in the corner part of the counter had asked us if we’d like to order when it was obvious that we were ready to order. The fact that the manager who was seen walking around didn’t see anything wrong with that and let the three teens giggle and fart around at work was annoying. On some level I could see why he would excuse that behavior as he seemed laid-back. His jokes were corny, his customer service behavior felt forced, and we left feeling awkward around him. Onto the sandwich. My dad got a #5 and I got a #2. Holy hell, have mercy. I was in sandwich heaven. I need to find a Mr. Pickles close to me so I can dive right in on that sandwich whenever I have a crappy day because it would surely bring me back into the happiness fold. The pastrami was decent, but it was that bacon/avocado/cream cheese and garlic sauce that really brought it. It was flavorful and the dutch crunch bread was a nice touch. I’ve never had dutch crunch bread before and this one left me impressed. I do not think I would come back to this location(mainly because I live like an hour away), but it’s inspired me to check out other locations. All the kudos to that one employee who was friendly, prompt, personable and so helpful. She’s amazing at her job and deserves more credit than I think she probably gets there(I don’t know man, I just got this weird feeling).

Not sure why there’s so much hype about this place, but I went in to find out! I came in here with a friend & we ordered some sandwiches, I got the veggie & he got an Italian type combo thing. We both weren’t impressed with the flavor or quality. It’s basically a normal sandwich you can get at Subway or Togo’s, but more expensive. I’d be impressed with more vegan or organic options, and some products that aren’t so run-of-the-mill.

The pickle man with dancing on the street corner, luring victims of hunger. We had to see what the pickle was about. The store was clean and bright– clean and white. Service was fast and friendly. Line was short. Good was good. Price was $ 25 to feed three. Ordered 3 by number: the Reggie Reggie is 12, the Club is 8, and BBQ Melt is 17. I don’t know if it’s always this way, but each sandwich came with a free fresh baked cookie– chocolate chip or sugar! Got it all home and figured out Mrs N want going to finish her #12, so we put the #8 in the fridge and just shared. The wheat bread was mildly sweet, the Baja sauce was kickin, and the melty cheesy chicken was tender and juicy. More to come in the other sandwiched they make. Keep in mind that there are 4 breads, no size options, and salads and wraps too!
