Never renting anything from here again. Too many customers and not enough employees. I paid for the first month of the unit when I got it and then set up my account for automatic payments, the next month I got a late notice in the mail, I called and told them I was set up on auto pay and they said it had been corrected and waived the late fee. Next month and I get a call from them asking where my payment was, I sternly explains what had happened and they then told me it was going to be on auto pay going forward. It finally was, however the trouble didn’t stop there. My unit flooded during the ice storm, the alarm system goes out so even if you scan your card at the door the deafening alarm may go off when you pop your lock open and then when I moved out I was informed that there is no proration. They automatically bill you in advance but can’t refund you when you move out? Absolutely ridiculous. The employees do not act professionally at all, every time I’ve come here there are dressed like slobs, there is always food and drinks and garbage all over the counters, none of the employees know how to do anything, they always have to ask someone else what to do. This place is a joke, why they are so busy is beyond me, stay away from here, there has to be someplace better than this.

Abysmal service. I rented a small storage unit at U-haul to store a few things while selling our house. When I signed up, I requested automatic credit card billing each month. I also requested after hours access. The first day, I tried to use my after hours access card and it didn’t work. Finally, after multiple attempts, I got into the building. Just one problem — the alarm system went off. I called their general manager’s number listed on the door. He was extremely rude and said he’d come out when he could. The manager came to the facility and turned off the alarm. He said the uhaul employee didn’t set my card up right. No apologies to me for the wasted 45 minutes or the stress of hearing sirens go off. The next month, I received a «late notice» in the mail. When I looked at my credit card statement, it showed the rent payment and late fee had been automatically billed. Obviously, this seemed ridiculous to be billed a late fee when they charged my card. I called the uhaul manager and explained that I saw a charge on my card. Rather than offer to help, he said«maybe you should call your credit card company and have then deal with it.» I couldn’t believe a manager would act so rude. After much discussion, he agreed to look into the situation. An hour later, a uhaul employee called me and said they were reversing the late charge and correcting the problem. A few weeks later, I went to my parent’s house and discovered that uhaul sent them a late notice for my unit. Pretty crazy to send late notices to family who live in other places! Overall: The worst customer service ever. Their GM, Michael Murphy, was the rudest and most obnoxious person I’ve run across in Brentwood/Franklin.

My family just downsized and had to put many of our belongings into storage. We got two units at U-Haul and hired two men to help us move. They were so helpful! We got everything moved out in 90 minutes. Employees were so helpful and it was so quiet, but we went on a Sunday morning.
