Very disappointing. Came for lunch on a Saturday. Waited almost 40 minutes for food and it wasn’t busy«we have a banquet in the main dining room». Okay, then close the rest of the establishment of you can’t handle the low additional volume. Food arrived: more disappointment. Portions were minuscule. The shrimp Louis salad was a deconstructed version with less than a dozen small shrimp and was $ 17. The bar tender(we had to sit in the bar) was nice and comped us a glass of wine. Maybe it was just a bad day for them but avoid this place altogether.

Had to teach these guys what an affogato was ??? But they had the perfect vanilla bean gelato to balance out their espresso. Really surprised that this not on their menu all things considered. Keep asking for this desert people! Let’s get it on the menu

Way to expensive. Your paying for the name, not the food. The food is good but not for what your paying.

We had excellent service. The service was excellent, had reservations and we got seated right away. We ordered an appetizer, we picked the calamari. It was great. It has fried string beans and fried slices of jalapeños. My meal was great I got the NY Steak. and my honey got the Prime Rib. The mash potatoes weren’t all that. I tried one of there signature drinks. Blood orange margarita. It was very good. We will definitely be going back again.

Came here for my birthday. Ambiance was very nice, my wife and I were seated right near the fireplace. Our server was spot on, service was impeccable. Food was excellent. All in all, a great dining experience!

Our first time and we couldn’t have been any happier. The prime rib may be 4 stars, but the cream corn is the best that I’ve ever had! My wife had the leg of lamb and she was incredibly satisfied. The service was top notch as were the drinks. We were seated near the fireplace in the inside/outside area? We’re certainly coming back. I also appreciated the cherries that they used in my cocktail. It sounds simple, but they were high quality and I appreciate attention to detail.

Changing to 1 star. Upon reflection, they could’ve done much better. Doubt they care as they don’t respond to Unilocal reviews or have an email address on their website. Save your money. Go to Black Angus.

To call yourself a Steak House, you need to make a good steak. Nope not even close. I’ve tried this place three times, I give up. Never again. You can get a better steak at Black Angus and they suck too. I’ve been to the other Vic’s, in Walnut Creek. And they do it right. The manger here needs to wake up. This place is caca.

Went here for brunch and it was a really good first experience. The food was delicious and our waitress, Carissa was very polite and friendly. Ambiance was inviting, some quiet music and décor looked nice.

Literally just tried this place out & I have to say I’m pretty disappointed. I thought this place was supposed to be up to par with Ruth Chris and Flemings but it tasted more like Sizzlers. Don’t get me wrong the ambience is really nice but the food is definitely not worth the price! Came in for lunch with the what I call the 3 doñas(my mom, and her two sisters) and my grandpa. The waitress was friendly & they were able to give me the filet mignon I wanted because it isn’t on the lunch menu so I was happy about that, but beware they will charge you for dinner(which is not what I’m disappointed about.) We ordered 3 orders of lobster bisque and it was pretty much a bowl of creamy soup NO lobster at all, at least not in my bowl. I recommend going to the Neiman Marcus café if you want to really try lobster bisque. I’d even suggest buying the pre made lobster bisque at Costco in comparison to Vic’s. Another appetizer my family wanted to try was the calamari. Presentation wise, it looked really good. However, it tasted really bland. As far as my order goes, I’m really disappointed with the filet mignon. Again, both the steak and the mashed potatoes were REALLY bland. The steak had some type of gravy sauce on top but it didn’t add any flavor. It also didn’t cover the burnt taste on the outside of the steak(which I ordered medium). The mashed potatoes had no flavor at all and I actually had to add the butter from the bread and salt on the table. Really… The presentation of it was just as bland as it tasted. Lastly, my mom and one of her sisters ordered the prime rib and asked for more steak sauce. The waitress came back with cold BBQ sauce. My other aunt ordered the salmon which was too dry so she requested extra sauce as well. For dessert, they ordered the crème brûlée that they weren’t too happy about either. My grandpa and I split a banana split which is supposed to come with gelato but it was so hard like it’s been sitting in the freezer opened that I wasn’t sure if it was really gelato or ice cream. Our check came out to be about $ 220 without tip for lunch and it honestly was not worth it! I’m happy I finally got to try this place out BUT I’m definitely NOT coming back.

Great local dining. My steak is always perfectly cooked and service is always on point. Many rooms to have private parties. The seating is perfect. You always feel like you have a private area to yourself.

If you don’t get a Manager in your Brentwood location you will go out of business ! Seriously this place has no service and the manager does not care ! I actually talked to the manager and all he did nothing but make excuses for the pour service ! And get this there was not that many people there. I will not be back until I hear different

Never have been too impressed, but decided to try it again tonight. When my daughter was eating her second mini burger, my hubby(who was next to her) noticed that it was completely RAW. They replaced it, but that won’t make a difference when I have a sick 8 year old. Pretty bummed and worried. And no, it wasn’t rare. It was raw. Huge difference.

We have stopped in here a few times in the past but just for beers and appetizers. This time we had Sunday Brunch and enjoyed it. I had the veggy omelet and Judit fish and chips(she does not care much for breakfast food). All were excellent, the service also if slightly over the top. Based on this meal I do not see why they are rated at $$$ but I suppose that if we were to go for a steak dinner things would be different. The negative is a really blah beer menu but then they just have five taps and that does not leave much room to be adventurous. We will be back now and then but it will not be our regular haunt.

I went to Vic Stweart’s last night for Thanksgiving dinner. I had a great time and a great meal. Our server Hensen did a really great job with our table! The menu was a fixed Thanksgiving menu, which I was totally fine with, but it would have been nice to know that when we made our reservations. I ordered the New York Steak and it was very good! Not the best steak I’ve ever had, but overall pretty darn good. The bread that came out early was fantastic, as well as the salads, soups and desserts. The weird thing and reason why I took off a star, the menu said it was a fixed menu at a certain price, but it turns out we were charged for out salad/soup… Like what? If it is a set price for opener, main, and dessert why would it cost more for the opener… weird. Overall the experience was great and I’d go back.

We ate here on 11÷21÷15 for my husband’s birthday. Jessica was our waitress. She was great! One step ahead of our requests & made sure my husband felt special for his birthday. This was our 2nd time at Vic Stewarts. Our first experience was just so-so. This time I wasn’t sure what to expect but everything was perfect! From being seated in the beautiful patio area by the fire, to the excellent service from Jessica, and the delicious food & drinks. We had a great time & will be back again!

My wife and I come here about once a week for the past 3 years, and always spend at least a $ 100 every visit. We always sit in the lounge area, and got to know the wait staff quite well. Kimberly, Chelsea, Cierra, and Christina are the best. Unfortunately, on our last visit, I ordered the Mrs Stewart cut prime rib. It claims to be 8oz cut. But the slice I got this time looked like a pounded out hamburger patty that belongs on a kid’s menu. After our waitress looked at it, she was embarrassed they would serve it. She took it back and a few minutes later, brought it back out and said the kitchen won’t exchange it. The«manager» came over and gave us every shitty excuse he could think of, not replacing it, or even offering a free dessert. IF we ever go back, I will absolutely not order prime rib, I’ll go to Cap’s instead.

Pretty good place for steak! Went on an anniversary dinner with the girl and at the end they even gave us a complimentary mousse dessert! I ordered the rib eye steak, it was huge 16oz! It came with fries and there was so much! Pretty good for its price. Came on a Thursday night so it was not as busy. Bread basket that came out was always fresh bread.

My wife invited me on my birthday to this restaurant. They sat us next to the fire place. Their food was very very delicious, cooked just where it should be, not a second more or a second less. The waiter Dana was extremely nice and responding, we felt very welcomed and taken care of. They topped it with offering a delicious desert as a birthday gift from them. I will definitely visit again.

I’ll start with the best: 1. Marcus. He was warm, accommodating, and even at the end of the meal followed up to refill drinks. 2. Vic Stewart’s is actually a very handsome restaurant; croco-booths, brick fireplaces, ambient lighting, hammered silverware. 3. Warm bread, room temperature butter. Love me a good bread basket. 4. My brother was all about his lobster pasta and wouldn’t share. The worse: 1. The meat. The ribeye was under seasoned and overcooked. The prime rib was chewy, salty, and the outside was overly-peppered. This may just sound abrupt and rude but it was gross. Really gross. 2. I don’t think there was anything ever on my plate that I felt like eating, or really even felt inclined to take home and eat later while watching Homeland. Pipped texture less mashed potatoes, generic overpriced coconut shrimp, pale calamari. 3. Clearly since its a steakhouse, this is a relatively expensive meal. I’m pretty sure you’re better off getting a Walmart steak and throwing it on the grill, and heating up some frozen TGIF appetizers.
