Gave my father dignity and the will to live.
Dr. Savage went way beyond the call of duty when it came to helping my father. For 2 years, he was falling down and hurting himself. The primary care doctor just said he was dehydrated, to drink water, was not interested in helping further. Dr. Savage found a medication to address the issue and the issue was resolved and he no longer fell down
While he was falling, his driver’s license was suspended. But even after the problem had been corrected, the primary care doctor refused to sign the papers to reinstate the dirver’s license. This took a huge toll on my father and much of his freedom was taken away for now good reason, even 9 months after the issue had been corrrected.
Dr. Savage stood up and helped my father to recover his license after he resolved the problem. He could have easily said «No, that’s the primary care doctor’s job» but he was caring enough to help and it truly changed my father’s life.
