Good family-​friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant with a solid local beer list. Food was good, service was not. Seemed liked the employees knew who the locals were and gave them preferential/​much more pleasant service than what we received.

They still got huge problems here. place was packed. we waited an hour and a half for food to get raw dough and cold calazones. Some girl kept screaming the kitchen needs help. I guess they did, they needed a cook. We normally come there for wings. Just so sad, if it was not mismanaged they would have all the help they need. I seriously can no recommend it to anyone, I have had better…

We began late having a working dinner with a top client and not realizing the restaurant closed at 9pm. We were well past that number when I noticed no other patrons. We asked for some to-​go boxes and left. The staff didn’t rush us in any way. We had spinach mannicotti and a hot ham and cheese sub. Both were terrific. We will be back.

Big Mike better get his s_​_​t together. Walked in at 6:20pm on a Thursday nite and all the tables were full. There is no hostess so when someone gets up you just seat yourself at a dirty table. The service was awful. Saw a table who had been served drinks and was waiting for their order to be taken, just walked out! There were 4 waitresses and only 13 tables. Totally disorganized! Food was just ok.

Waited over an hour for wings, they came out dry.. No sauce. Sauce was served in the side. Ordered a beer and it took 20 minutes to arrive. There were 4 waitresses and this place only has 12 tables. I feel like with 3 tables per employee they should have been more on top of it. Then I went to the bathroom… 3 roaches dead on the floor. Done. This place lost me as a customer today

First time back here in at least 10 years, not sure why, because my lunch today was great. The baked four cheese manicotti was excellent– came with a large salad and garlic knots; enough food for two! Had no clue they offer a lunch buffet either (pizza, salad, and garlic knots). Will definitely be having their wings along with the buffet next time :)

My husband and I stumbled across this place while we were in Brevard for a business trip, and we were amazed! They advertise «Epic Food,» and we were not let down! I am gluten free, and was able to get awesome pizza, and my husband had the chicken parmesan, which was not only delicious but also huge and inexpensive. I highly recommend this to everyone that visits Brevard.

Small, off the beaten path pizza place… Really good pizza! We got the white pizza and added meatballs and it was soooo good. Really good crust. We had them run it through the oven a second time because we like our crust crispy… Great wait staff– especially on a very busy day– it definitely took a long time to get our food, but it was on a festival day, so it may have been hard to keep up… If you love one– off places, and pizza you’ll love this place!

My Boyfriend went to college at Brevard, so when we drove from Chicago to Spartanburg, SC for a wedding, we had to stop so she could show me around.
We stopped at Big Mike’s for a late lunch. It wasn’t crowded, but it was nice to get out of the heat and have a quiet place to grab a bite.
We tried the two Brevard beers on tap — both great.
I had a stromboli — holy cannoli — I barely barely made it through a quarter. It was ENORMOUS. And delicious! I loved how it was laquered with garlic butter, parm and parsley. The fillings were generous — a mountain of cheese, fresh mushrooms and pepperoni.
My boyfriend had wings which he said he enjoyed, and we shared some garlic knots. SO GOOD.
If we ever go back, Big Mike’s is definitely on the list of places to return to!

If you’re looking for great pizza, calzone and stromboli this is the place. Tons of topping choices to build exactly what you want. Not a lot of seating and a very popular place so be prepared for a potential wait at times. This is definitely on our must have list any time we’re in Brevard.

This is a little overdue but better late than never. We just picked up a few pies to go while visiting friends and was VERY pleasantly surprised at how good they were. This one is a definite repeat.

Went in to big mikes at 5:00 PM and ordered a burger and pasta shortly after. We then had to wait an hour and a half until our food came. When I went to the bathroom there was urine all over the toilet seat and the floor, it was absolutely disgusting. Then when the food finally arrived they did not put the toppings I asked for on the burger, and they also didn’t make my buddy’s pasta correctly.

It was packed today. This is a great place. We got the Garlic knots and a large hand tossed cheese. Did I say wood stone oven? Wonderful meal. I have to add something. The cheesecake is the best I have EVER ate.

Great beer! Tasty cannoli! Friendly staff. Décor is not much to look at but you can’t judge a book by its cover. He is a New England transplant who knows how to make a pizza pie right. As out of towers, this is a must stop each time we visit.

Second night in a row we managed to make it to Big Mike’s. Pizza last night and pasta tonight. Servings are large, and food is served hot and delicious. Our server, Missy both nights was fantastic. Friday night and we’re glad we got here early as this place is filling up! Don’t miss the local brews!

Really good pizza and a decent collect of craft brews. If measuring the quality if this place is based on the number of relocated retired Yankees, then that alone makes it a popular place. Get to know Mike… he’s awesome!

Ate here twice, our first night in town and wanted something fast and to go and our last night in town because that’s where our family wanted to go. But given the option, once was enough.
The pizza was okay. Not great, but okay. His Stromboli was the same, he put ham in it but it wasn’t something making him want it again. The Philly Cheese Steak was good, but not to make him want to go back again for it. The service wasn’t that good. Waitress seemed stressed from work load and stuck to business, not too much mountain friendliness you get from most other places. But she was nice and bagged our leftovers. Best thing was the garlic knots. Yum!
The joint is okay, doesn’t leave you craving for more. I will not back, hopeful to try another pizza place here.
