The food was ok. I had the chicken parmigiana and I couldn’t finish it all. And I didn’t take it to go. I knew I wasn’t going to eat it later on lol.

Me and my boyfriend went here not knowing how great this place would be. We got buffalo chicken and a regular slice. The pizza was hot and fresh! One of the best buffalo slices I’ve had. The owner of the place is the nicest guy and he makes sure every customer is satisfied. All in all very happy customer.

Good food I had the shrimp fri Diablo and my wife had a small pizza. Both really really good. The atmosphere could use an upgrade but the food made up for it. We will return

Great food. We have had their food on several occasions with catering for our local Temple. Always fresh, always tasty, and they have been prompt on their delivery each time.

They have good typical traditional italian food. The pizzas are pretty good too. The wine is decent. Overall decent spot. I havent had a bad meal in the handful of times ive gone. Would reccommend to a friend.

This is seriously one of those places where you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover. Upon walking in, it totally looks like a takeout pizza place. After walking through there, you get to the dining room, which is simple, but clean and comfortable. Now, on to the highlights. The food was fantastic. All four of us at the table raved about how great our dinners were. Of course that had nothing to do with cycling 20+ miles since breakfast and not eating again until 4pm, but I think I’d judge it equally high any time. I won’t get into the detail of each of the meals selected, but everyone was very happy, and we’ll certainly be back! PS: the service was also great, and the owner was very personable, and checked in on us to make sure everything went well. Great place!!!

Love love love this place. My husband and I have been gong there for 17 years and they have remained a constant great reputation for food and service with us. They make the BEST ala vodka and franchise sauces. I can recommend, also, eggplant rollantini, gnocchi(ala vodka is heavenly), pizzas, pannis, etc — go for it. They have the same people working there, managing for over 17 years and they really get to know their customers. That’s a bonus for a quaint Italian dinner or a larger family meal there, you feel comfortable. I would recommend Mezza Luna for dine in or take out and encourage you to try some real Italian cuisine.

Great pizza! Good, easy-going people running the place. They’re selling good pizzas and they don’t charge sky high prices. Fridays are better with Mezzaluna :)

Updating my review, I sat down for dinner here and I was impressed. Good Italian food and generous portions, the owner is a classic Italian. I still don’t recommend the pizza however the entrees are pretty good.

Mezzaluna is our go to place. Quick lunch or leisurely dinner. One of the best. Salad with house dressing is a must have. And we love Fran… always there with a smile.

It is NOT $ 10 for 2 slices of pizza… that’s obviously false. I’ve had their pizza and I’ve sat down for dinner in the dining area. I love their food. Definitely worth the visit!

Food was to die for! The sauce was absolutely delicious, would highly recommend the chicken parm. Was seated right away and the waiter was very attentive. Would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Antipasta is great. Chicken Parm pasta is also great! I get take out here and its been great, everything seems and tastes fresh. It looks like they really care. I think the prices are reasonable for what you get in terms of quantity and quality.

Yum. Perfect stop off 22 on a road trip. Followed Unilocalers recommendation to go for a marsala dish. Veal marsala was delicious and I felt very reasonably priced considering the cost of veal in the store. It also came with a salad with Italian, I’m gonna say, homemade Italian dressing. Delicious. It took a while for the food to come out, I think there was a hic-up with our order. It was worth the wait and the garlic knots and salad certainly kept us busy.

Mezza luna is located in a shopping center with a large grocery store and does not stand out at first — but you will not be disappointed. They have two sections to the restaurant — one take out and one sit down. The waitress seemed to be the owner and is authentic Italian. A neighboring table ordered a large thin crust pizza that looked tempting. Their chicken marsala was amazing — tons of mushrooms and a nicely balanced mushroom sauce. My parents enjoyed the chicken daniela and chicken saltimbucca. You have a choice of a salad or pasta as a side and I would recommend the salad — it’s a good size and the house dressing is tasty. The bread is fresh and served hot with butter and olive oil. The house cabernet was lovely as well. I wish I had left room for dessert — the tiramisu looks decadent.

This is a great find. I don’t often write reviews and don’t have a good excuse why not. But this restaurant was an accidental find while driving and they deserve the praise. We are from NYC and are pretty snooty about the food we eat. Especially Italian. So we thought this would be a quick stop while driving to feed the kids. The food was very well prepared and the service good as well. This is food that could have gone over well in the big city, but here it is up ion Brewster! We will be stopping here again. Great work!
