Unreal. The pulled pork melt blew my mind. So much flavor. My wife got a veggie melt and loved every bite. Food was amazing but the owner was even better. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in his food and service. We’ll be back, probably for our next meal.

The food was good, and the wait wasn’t too long, considering my car group showed up and flocked the place! I’ll definitely come back here when I’m in the area!

We stopped by for Burgers and what a great treat. I have been in the business for years and the Burgers were hands down the best ever! We were totally spoiled by the owner with great food and great conversation. We are going back for breakfast to have the great omelettes, looking forward to the Denver with the awesome Virginia ham! We would be regulars but have to leave for back home in California. We have loved everything about this beautiful area!!!

Stopped in for lunch after a full morning of skiing. One of the best pastrami melts I have ever had. The kids had delicious cheese burgers and the fries and onoin rings were equally delicious. Thad is a great host and we will definately be back to try his breakfast. Make sure to try the sweet potato fries dipped in caramel sauce.

Food has great potential but Asian guy who I think is owner is awful. Feel like I’m at soup nazi. Terrible service. Breakfast sandwich was good bacon under cooked. Pancakes good. UPDATE1: WOW it get’s better… Here was the reply from the owner to my review.(note, I spent $ 40 and not sure what he means by messy. I threw away my trash, but wasn’t sure what to do with my plates. was I supposed to take them back to you and wash them for you?) OWNER’S RESPONSEBELOW: «with costumers like you that are cheap and are messy at your table i don’t need you to ever come back again and stay home» The response above only proves my point on my review. Think Seinfeld Soup Nazi. I’m sure if I walk in that door again(I won’t) I will hear… «No food for you!». :-) I guess when you have a monopoly on breakfast in BH you can say you are king of the hill and yes you don’t have to give a crap about service or what people think b/c there is no other place to get breakfast on the hill. good luck KC. Like I said, food was good. UPDATE2: Johnny G’s(owner I assume) next reply: «by the way i’m reporting you to Unilocal for being a racist» I’ll keep you all updated on how that works out… And I guess this is a warning to all, do not make the owner of KC upset or he will come after you big time! Stay safe Unilocal users…

From the Missus: The reviews for the Korner Café are what brought us in. I had read how good the burgers were, and after an incredibly disappointing pizza next door, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had the«da bomb burger», with bacon, blue cheese, mushrooms and onions. Hubby had the MOM burger, with mushrooms, onions, and muenster, but substituted blue cheese on it. These may have been some of the best burgers we have ever had. Really juicy. Even the bun was a great quality. The fries that came with it were also excellent, and perfectly cooked. (Insider tip: We started talking to the owner, and he convinced us to try some of his fried chicken. It was so good– we found out his secret– it takes him 3 days to make the chicken due to marinating it, the breading process and then he cooks it in a pressure cooker. The only problem is, when it is gone, it’s gone– he can’t just drop more in the fryer. The chicken is only available on Fridays and Saturdays after 5 until it is sold out.) We tried to go back the next day after a long day of skiing, only to be sorely disappointed that he usually closes at around 2 on Sundays. Next time we are in Brian Head, we will for sure be stopping in the Korner Café!(We might even make it for breakfast one of these days.) Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

This was the worst service I have ever experienced. I went there two days in a row. On the second day he refused to make more coffee(self service coffee) at 9 am. Followed by several crazy remarks about if we don’t like the service we could leave. And we did.

We had an omlete meal and it was very good. We asked for it to be cooked on the softer add side and it was exactly how we like it. Hash browns and toast was also nice.

Korner Café is the tops for great burgers and second to none for breakfast. You want a great chicken dinner, get the Boasted Chicken.

Had the veggie omelet with sourdough bread and hash browns. The eggs were freshly cracked and cooked after I ordered –delicious. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and sourdough bread buttered and toasted to perfection. The omelet itself was a good size and savory. The veggies tasted as fresh as they would if I would have made them at home. The restaurant is very clean!!! Made me happy to eat there knowing the owner/chef is meticulous about cleanliness. The chef was very welcoming and friendly. An excellent place for breakfast. Will be back for the amazing burgers I keep hearing about online and in person.

It was our first trip to Brian Head, Utah. Our last night here. Needed much food after boarding all day in amazing snow. We ordered what we felt was enough for 10 of us. We took our food togo. When we opened our food back at our cabin, we were surprised how more food there was in our boxes. Fried chicken, cole slaw and biscuits were all amazing. Thank you for great service and food!

This little café had great breakfast food(4 star) we recommend the breakfast sandwich and the Denver omelette that were both great. What took this rating down was the wait for our food and coffee. We waited almost an hour for our breakfast and it seemed only one cashier and one cook were taking care of a full house. They also had a large sign promoting their fresh fruit smoothies but we were told they were no longer serving them. No reason why given. The restaurant was also very cold inside, making the wait for our food more difficult. All the guests, including us, kept our ski hats and coats on. It is a better choice than the lodge nearby.

Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. The toasted burger bun is constantly crispy with every bite I take. The owner is so spunky and he makes his burgers with pride. Recommend everyone to come here for burgers and much more!

I visited the Korner Café on Monday of this week and the chef(owner) was happy to make us breakfast even though it was after 11AM. The café is cozy and convenient and the servings are huge! The owner was very friendly and made our four breakfast orders very quickly. We had breakfast sandwiches, a vegetarian omelet, and a standard breakfast plate. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality. I wish I had a stomach as big as my eyes, everything on the menu sounded amazing! I am looking forward to coming back to the Korner Café for lunch(and during the winter). The burgers are highly recommended. With ski season right around the corner, you can’t beat the convenience, price, and portion size of this Brian Head staple.

Da Bomb and the pulled pork melt were really good. He does not buy the hamburger patty. He makes them from scratch. The burger was very flavorful. It was so juicy. The sautéed mushrooms and onions made the hamburger that much better! The pulled pork had the perfect amount of bbq sauce, the sourdough bread was perfectly toasted with butter. The sweet potatoe fries were ok. I like my sandwich with the onion rings. French fries were pretty basic. Overall I give this spot a thumbs up! If you are looking for a good burger and melt, this is the place to be! You won’t be disappointed. I’ll have to update this review after we try breakfast. BTW burger and melts are huge. It’s good enough to share with someone else. In my case I took half of my hubby’s burger and he took have of mine. Oh the owner is very nice. He runs it all by himself. So be patient. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place to go. The guy does a good job with getting the food out but if there are a few people in front of you, expect to wait. It’s worth the wait!

They are open for breakfast today, New Year’s Day. The chef is pretty enthusiastic about his food and its source. He was excited to show me the bacon that he uses. Prices are fair. Not cheap but not too expensive considering they are next door to the lifts. The restaurant is clean and looks new. Little things like the ketchup bottles and the pancake syrup thingy, are spotless clean. I will update my review once I get back to the condo since I am ordering my food to go. All in all, I am impressed with the owners passion, especially at 8am New Year’s Day.

The skillet was too greasy and the French toast was not interesting. The service was terrible, you could tell that the cashier/waiter/busman was kinda overwhelmed.
