15 minutes to even be greated by a waitress, who then proceeded to barely make an appearance afterwards. The steak was tasteless and overdone in the center. The bread and desert were stale and clearly store bought. Even the strawberry on the cake tasted like it had sat in a display case for 10 days. They tack on an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of your party size. Otherwise would not mind this save for the terrible service and awful food.

Great Resort! Going in we knew that Leany’s Steakhouse had marginal reviews, but we were staying on property, so we decided to give it a chance after checking into the resort. This was a dining experience like no other. We can’t critique the food because we never had a chance to sample it… After checking in we made our way to Leany’s… Nice setting, great views… NOHOSTESS. Our party stood at the hostess counter to be seated for 10 minutes… No waiter, No Hostess, No Acknowledgement No Nothing. We read over the menu for another uncomfortable 5 mins. At this point we decided to leave the Resort and we walked to the Cedar Break Lodge. The Restaurant was great… We were seated promptly and the food was great. We tried Leany’s for Breakfast the following day. After all everyone can have a bad day at work. What a surprise… Nothing changed. We stood at the hostess counter for 5 minutes to be seated. We weren’t going to wait much longer after our previous experience. Once again, No Hostess, No Waiter, No Nothing. We walked to the Cedar Break Lodge for breakfast. I wish that I could comment on the food but I was not given the opportunity.

Got a nice steak to share with my girlfriend. They charged me a $ 6 share charge, 20% gratuity, tax, AND a SERVICECHARGE that was 20% percent $ 8.40. The server could NOTEXPLAIN what the«service charge» was and she ran my credit card before confirming with me how much I owed!!! I ended up spending over $ 55 to split a 14 oz new york strip with 1 baker potato and 6 pieces of asparagus. Thanks for taking care of the tourists guys!!! We will not be back.

There are limited dining choices in Brian Head. But anywhere I’ve gone the people and service are stellar. We came in as a party of 8 on New Year’s Day for lunch and their grill was down. Their menu was already small(1-page) — BUT we had a decent lunch and the view was phenomenal. The good is what you’d expect for mountain town grub. The dining room was spectacular with a roaring indoor fire pit, beautiful foyer and antler chandeliers. Beer selection was decent too.

Terrible service… Maybe due to automatic gratuity of 20% regardless of size of your party. Could see most of the patrons pretty frustrated with the slow Not many good choices at BH, the food was average. The food at cedar breaks lodge was better.

A better breakfast would be hard to find. Fantastic meal, veggie omelet and the breakfast sandwich. thick bacon, avocado and red potatoes. Coffee is strong, and the staff is great.

This place has just reopened with a new chef(Chef Mark) and it is the bomb!!! Came here w my family to celebrate my dads bday! We had the seared scallops for an appetizer and it was absolutely amazing!!! For the main course I had the ribeye! Can’t tell you the last time I ever had a steak this good! Cooked to perfection and served with grilled asparagus!!! Not to mention our server was great!!! She brought us two slices of delicious carrot cake for the birthday dessert! Ask for Aubrey she was so sweet! If you’re looking for a place to eat in Brian Head please don’t pass it up!!!

We avoided this place for dinner due to all of the negative reviews. We risked it for breakfast on our last day at the hotel because it was close and easy. I am so glad we did! The food was great and our waitress kept our coffee full, she even offered to make us coffee to go! We ordered the pumpkin cinnamon roll pancakes, the hungry man breakfast, and the biscuits and gravy, the portions were huge! With the coffee and the side of sausage our bill only came to $ 38 before tax. I don’t feel this was overpriced at all, we’ve spent more at Denny’s. Overall, the food was great and the service was fantastic! Thank you for the great start to our last day in Brian Head! :)

AVOIDATALLCOST!!! It took over an hour to get our food. Several items we ordered never showed up. Raw asparagus served with the meal. Creamed spinach was cold so we asked for them to reheat it. Server returned two minutes later with dish that was still cold. On the next attempt she simply never returned with the dish. Baked potato was brought out 20 minutes after the steak. To top it off the bill for three of us was $ 150. The absolute worst. Save yourself the aggravation.

We own a condo in BH and often recommend our renters and friends go to the Doubletree. We have always gone to the bar upstairs. Service, food, drinks, bands and the ambiance are always great so we decided to give the restaurant a try for New Years Eve. Had a reservation for 7pm. Didn’t get seated until 730. Ordered drinks after someone finally came by 15 min later. Ordered our food and by 9pm the food still hadn’t arrived. We kept getting«your food is almost up» and more bread to hold us over. Two couples that were seated at least a half hour to 45 min got their food. Our server(guy w the ponytail) was less than accommodating or helpful so we decided to ask for the manager. I asked what the status of our food was and she said if I knew I wouldn’t be here. Then asked me what do you want me to do. I said we would like our food, or to cancel it and go upstairs. She said she was going to see if there was a table upstairs for us then never came back. Needless to say, we left… hungry at 930pm on New Years Eve in Brian Head. Horrible first experience and will never return. Oh and when I asked to order a bottle of their local Utah wine, the server said it was 14 Hands(from Washington). Ha!

Shame on me for not reading the Unilocal reviews first. We went here for breakfast while staying at the hotel. Although we were the only ones there(that should have been our sign) it took forever to receive our food and when we did it was luke warm at best. The French Toast was very good. The Prosciutto Mozzarella omelet was a plain omelet that they opened up and put cheese, 2 basil leaves and tomatoes inside. So the egg part was thick and the inserted cheese, etc. kept falling out. The menus says, «hashbrowns» but they are actually cottage fries. The hostess was sweet but kind of ditzy. She didn’t know what a mocha was. She didn’t know whether the eggs were 2 eggs or 3 and didn’t offer to ask(I ordered 2 eggs but received 3). They only offered whole milk and 2%. I would suggest that diners look for another alternative.

Visited for dinner during a summer weekend stay. Service was mediocre — had to seat ourselves and the waitress wasn’t real helpful. Food was pretty good, but way overpriced for the quality. Do yourself a favor and drive into Cedar City, where the options are very limited, but still better than here.

This was a giant let down. Our server was amazing and friendly, but the food left so very much to be desired. The two soups were the only thing with any kind of flavor. The steak my son ordered was a complete bust. Undercooked and so much fat and convective tissue that is was impossible to eat. My wife’s pasta dish looked like something my son could have made if he hadn’t even tried. All in all I would say stay away from this establishment for dinner service. The bar on the second story of the lodge is is a far better choice for food.

We went there after snowboarding @ Brian’s Head Resort. So tired and hungry that we dont want wait for table. This place is not busy when we got there. So we seat right away. Appetizer — Garlic Citrus Shrimp — Mixed Salad on bottom of wine glass with 5 jumbo shrimps on top. — Is have little sour and garlic taste at same time, which is refreshing Prime Rib w/Sweet Potatoes fries & mix veggies — prime rib is juice and tender. sweet potatoes fries cook just perfect. Not over fried that is hard and super crunchy Rib Eye — is a little disappointed. Very small pieces and lack of flavor Baby Back Rib — Is not tender enough to fall of the bone. Too much BBQ sauce Bone in Rib Eye — done as medium rare that tasty juicy and tender. French Vanilla Bean Cheesecake — one best cheesecake I had Chocolate Lava Cake — also good and not so sweet. Foods is okay. Our waiter is good. Cashier /Host is need to improved. We wave at her to pickup our check. She just ignore us that we waited 10 min for waiter to pickup our check since he is busy with other customer. While host just stand behind front desk doing nothing.

overpriced but portion size made up for it, country steak and eggs fed me for two days. Slow/Confused staff get them the 2 stars. Not sure what this place is trying to do, should use the space for a more casual atmosphere.

Lenny’s has the price of a high end restaurant however the food and atmosphere just do not meet those same standards. The times we’ve been there, the service has been decent however it really wasn’t that crowded so it would be interesting to see how the service would have been had the restaurant been crowded. One of our favorite items are the portobello mushrooms however this last trip, the just didn’t seem as good as we remembered. The steaks are good and prepared to order but once again, the value isn’t there. I would go back because there aren’t a lot of options in town. I guess that is why they can get the prices they are asking for.

I was surprised by the only review that I see on here, but I suppose that I’m not shocked that the review was about their breakfast… as a breakfast the food wasn’t worth the high prices, but the lunch and dinner… yum! delicious food, pricey, but non the less, delicious. Their hamburger and fries was cooked perfectly and the service was great. Not much more than that.

Sorry although the Grand Lodge at Brian Head is gorgeous. I wasn’t impressed with Lenny’s Steakhouse for breakfast. Service was super slow and the quality of the food was just mediocre. Wish there was other options around the lodge. Coffee was cold and the food took almost 45 minutes to come out after we ordered.
