This is a beautiful place. I only went to the bar but did have a couple of appetizers and they were delicious. One of the best meatballs I have ever had. I went for the music, Two for the Road and my husband and i danced. It was a lot of fun. I would really like to see this restaurant succeed. I am looking forward to going back for dinner.

The Briarcliff Manor recently reopened in the location that was formerly The Haymount House. Perry DiNapoli has renovated the location and is now open for dinner and special events. We recently had my daughters Bat Mitzvah there, 100 people, and they did a wonderful job with every aspect of the event. The food and ambiance were fantastic. Perry, Jamie and Vincenza made sure everything went just the way we wanted.

We are fairly selective/critical. Do you get annoyed when you try to find a great place to eat or hang for a drink that is close to home. To me this place/building has always been an enigma. Now it seems a great and beautiful place to have an event or wedding. The building and grounds are magnificent. But overall something always seemed missing to me. Since the previous owner you would hardly know this place existed — very little advertising and what is with the sign on the main road? Maybe it is a town thing but you can hardly see the sign, no light, seems like they don’t want to be found. And I always thought the décor was a bit off. Some parts of the restaurant are beautiful, I like the bar, the fire place and the piano. But what is up with those chandeliers from the 50’s. The table and chairs in the restaurant were very strangely arranged with banquettes and tables that don’t match, different types of chairs. We were there on a Thursday night we thought it was way to bright and we had to ask for the music to be turned on in the dining room it was way too quiet. Like I said its frustrating because the place has so much potential or else I would not care. Our waiter was really nice(Andrew), the food was fine. I think the polenta with the meatballs was great. The double espresso was a double espresso and everything else was fine. We are always looking for a place to stop in for a drink and the bar looked inviting. We will be back. Still seems like a new restaurant so maybe some of these details will be worked out. Good luck to the owners and staff, you have a beautiful place.

I came here tonight for a continuing education dinner. Located in a mainly residential area inside The Briarcliff Manor(which is in the village of Briarcliff Manor ;-), this is an in-house restaurant for the banquet hall as a whole. The entire banquet hall is a converted old house, and as such it gives off a lot of charm. As the name of the restaurant suggests, they serve Italian food. We started with come cold antipasto — typical of what you find on cold antipasto but a nice spread and it tasted fresh. I then had the Manor Salad which came dressed with the house balsamic vinaigrette — simple but fresh. For my main I had the risotto-stuffed chicken which came with a side of veggies and roasted potatoes. I finished with a slice of Italian cheesecake. Food was average overall — my main dish was pretty basic, and the cheesecake was not really Italian(cream cheese instead of ricotta). I give them some leeway though because I was dining here for an event rather than having regular dinner here. Service was pretty good — overall an okay experience.

This place is AMAZING! Im a pretty selective person when it comes to food & ambiance and Antipasti Di Napoli is second to none. First, the grounds are impeccable. Its a great place for a night with the girls or for a romantic date. And now for the food. We tried EVERYTHING! The polenta, pizza, meatballs… hell even the salad is good! And the dessert! Im still trying to figure out who’s nana is in the back cooking! Whether you sit at the bar, outside or in the dining room you wont be disappointed.

Two and a half of the three stars I’m giving are for the lovely view of the Hudson and the attractive venue. We were greeted by a host in jeans with a sport coat. I knew it was casual dress, but jeans on the host?! Service was okay, well-meaning but not enthusiastic. Members of my party enjoyed calamari and meatballs as appetizers, and bread was warm and delicious. Gnocchi with chicken added was good, but the pizza margherita — for one at $ 18!!!— was awful. It arrives sliced not into wedges but into long ribbons that are then overlapped on the plate. I found it an ugly presentation. The crust was soft, almost like a Lunchables«pizza» kit. Sauce was so-so, but the cheese was a little rubbery and barely melted. We decided not to stay for dessert.
