They have yummy food. I recommend the philly roll and all of their pad Thai items. Of course don’t forget the Thai tea. Best dinner spot in Briar wood

This place is not only overpriced, they take forever to deliver, and they don’t know how to read instructions on Seamless. If I’m adding something on and paying for it, I expect it to be in my sushi roll. The food is ok, it all had a strange sweet taste to it. From the soup to the sushi. It’s not appealing. I’ve ordered from here a few times before and honestly I’m making it a point this time to never order from here again. I can get much tastier sushi, from places who are actually affordable and actually follow instructions when you order and pay for something. Hado is a ripoff!

Have been walking/driving by Hado sushi for a long time now… This past Friday my wife & I were in the mood for some Thai & Sushi so we decided to give this restaurant a shot. Considering it is only a 5 minute walk from home — Why not? Ok, so first of all, DONOT let the surrounding stores/restaurants fool you! This place is unlike anything in our Briarwood area! The ambience is upbeat, cozy, comfortable. The food was really fresh and quite tasty. My wife and I had the Rock Shrimp & the Calamari. It tasted really fresh and it was done in a timely manner. which is something we really appreciate because there is nothing more annoying than ordering your appetizers and your drinks then waiting for the appetizers while your drinks are just sitting there. The drinks were very well made — they did not get cheap with the liquor — we ordered 2 Lichi Martinis and and they came within 5 minutes followed by our appetizers. For the entrees, my wife had a Bento box & I had the Shrimp Pad Thai with a side order of a Spider roll(cause I needed to see how good the rolls were). The food was once again, fresh, very well cooked and just excellent! The service is simply SUPERB. We sat in the middle of the restaurant on very comfortable sofa-like seats & the waitress was constantly checking in on us to make sure we were well serviced. Our drinks was never empty and the whole staff seemed to anticipate the perfect time to come by. The price of the overall meal was quite reasonable and we left feeling very satisfied and I even took the menu to plan for my next visit. Overall, am quite excited about Hado Sushi and am planning to not only go there again, but plan on bringing other Unilocal friends to come over and enjoy this culinary experience like we did. Hado Sushi congratulations… You have yourself a couple new patrons!

OK, I really need to add Pad Thai to the ‘never order again’ blacklist. It looked completely wrong and it was torture eating this. Another costlier-than-average take-out that went into the garbage. At this point, I have to take my rating down to 2.5 stars. Maybe the days I had decent Thai food, the experienced cook was working. Or maybe the good cook quit when I had the awful Thai food. Either way, inconsistency is poison in the restaurant business and, frankly, such variations in quality are unacceptable in NYC. If you don’t know how to make Thai food, please don’t offer it!

One of my to go to places if I feel like having an sushi or thai food. Food is clean, fresh, and top of the line. Décor is modern and they have fantastic thai iced tea. Make sure to try the curry puff and the chicken satay.

I loved the food here! Service is great, clean, music is a good mix. Cocktails were strong. Worth the money. Great date night. Love the lounge love seats white leather sofa with wooden panel décor. Would definitely go back! Drinks are $ 8 – 12. Food prices are about 13 bucks a plate most on average. Rolls are $ 5 range. It’s a great chill out spot.

I’ve ordered from here a bunch of times already since moving to Forest Hills area. I definitely recommend because it’s always delivered quickly and the quality is good. Have never had a bad experience with them!

Skip the Thai part of the menu, the food is bland with no flavor. The heat(spiciness) is there, but without the various flavors(sweet, sour, salty) that Thai food is known for. Stick to the Sushi part of the menu, and you won’t go wrong. My favorites include the various variants of their Shrimp tempura rolls.

The sushi I ordered last night from Hado was delivered in exactly the amount of time quoted by Grub Hub & was incredibly fresh & delicious. The Canon Ball roll, NYK roll, & Spider Roll were seriously impressive. I also enjoyed the Pork Gyoza appetizer because it was perfectly pan seared with a bit of a crisp still even though it was delivered. The Spider Roll was plump & the soft shell crab was crispy & seriously divine dunked in a bit of spicy mayo. The Canon Ball roll was awesome! Shrimp tempura rolled with rice & seaweed & topped with spicy tuna, crunch, & caviar mmm mmm mmm. The NYK roll was also superb! Kani, rolled with rice & seaweed topped with chopped tuna, mango, seaweed salad, & a delicious spicy sauce. It is seriously one of my favorite rolls I have ever had anywhere. In dire need for something sweet, I ordered the dragon eggs which are chocolate Bön bons with your choice of green tea or coconut ice cream. I chose the coconut & it sure did not disappoint!!!

Beware!!! They charge different price than what they have on their menu!!! Food is not bad. Price is pretty much the same like restaurant in the city. Decoration is not bad. But they charge me a different price than what they have on their menu. I ordered a black noodle. The price on the menu is 10.95. They charged me 11.95 before tax and tip. I know it is just a dollar but it is not about the dollar. You should charge your customer the same price your put on your menu. It is just a bad business practice!

#1. I found this place by searching on Unilocal! Thanks, Unilocal!I came here because the owner responded to every review that I read. #2. This food was absolutely amazing. My friend had the Hurricane roll and a spicy shrimp roll. I had the Briarwood roll and shrimp udon soup. I’ll post pics #3. The service is SUPERB. We sat by the sushi bar so we could watch the art being created. My drink was never empty and the staff seemed to «just know» when to come by. #4. The prices are great. Keep them the same. #5. Not only will I be back, but I have to bring people with me. #6. After the great food and service, I check in on Unilocal!and BOOM, 10% off the meal! I’m stuffed, and happy. It doesn’t get much better than this. What

I went here Friday with my boyfriend. We had take out from here before but we never ate inside. I am not sure why we waited so long but inside is really awesome. The décor and ambiance is such a great setting for a date or group gathering. The music was awesome as well. Old 90s variety music. I ordered calamari, a lychee martini and a green lantern sushi roll. The fried calamari was delicious. The lychee martini was strong but so yummy. Now let’s get to the sushi. AMAZING. my roll had jalapeños in it with seaweed on top. Sooo good. we then had to try their dessert. I ordered fried green tea ice cream and my boyfriend got friend cheese cake. I recommend both. Again so delicious. I am really happy and surprised with this restaurant. This is exactly what Briarwood needs. A trendy, friendly place to hangout at night. Definitely coming back! Keep up the good work! They also honored a 10% discount from checking in on Unilocal

Sushi lover?!? Hado is definitely a must try if so! I absolutely love their rolls! My ultimate fave is the Hurricane Roll which consist of shrimp tempura, eel, kani and avocado inside, topped with seared spicy salmon and chef‘s special sauce. It’s one of the best rolls I’ve ever had. My next fave is the Briarwood Roll which is shrimp tempura and avocado topped with spicy salmon, crunch, caviar, scallion and spicy sauce — not too much off from the Hurricane and it’s quite amazing as well! Oh, how did could I forgot my favorite appetizer — the curry puffs with this super amazing cucumber and onion salsa — soooo so good!!! Their rolls range anywhere from $ 3 to $ 15 for the special rolls. I prefer my rolls to have some type of tempura inside and Hado has a huge variety of that sort. The staff is always super friendly and the owner is always out speaking with the guest. They just remodeled the place and it looks awesome! Great ambience, friendly staff, full bar, and amazing sushi — what more could you ask for on a Friday night !?!

I always order takeout from here but never had the pleasure of actually sitting in the restaurant. The customer service in here is amazing. Very attentive and extremely nice. All of the staff members stop by to see if you’re okay and if you need anything. The food was great as usual. I’m in love with the angry bird roll. My daughter had the teriyaki bento box and now she’s a sushi believer too lol If you want a nice chill casual spot with beautiful ambience, be sure to stop by and experience this hidden gem in briarwood.

Simple but authentic as a fusion spot can be. Rich tasting and memorable masaman curry sauce. Rock shrimp not so great. Service is okay but I visited off peak hours maybe hence the low adrenaline from the waiter. Will visit again. Highly recommended. Found them on Unilocal

I was really debating between a 4 or a 5 for this one, as Hado really can pass as «As good as it gets» in the area. Not the best I’ve ever had for inexpensive sushi, but definitely a gem in Briarwood, Queens. Unfortunately, the hostess is the exact reason why I’m opting for a 4 star review rather than a 5. Chick is so bitter! She didn’t smile when I walked in, and gave my partner and I a forced smile upon seating us, and as we walked out, the staff members all casually thanked us and said bye, but she literally gave me a death stare in the eye. CALMDOWNGIRL. YOURSHIFTWILLBEOVERSOON, CHILL.OUT. Ok, done with that little rant. Onto the food! I definitely prefer Hado’s Thai menu more than their Japanese menu. We ordered the basil fried rice lunch special with beef, and the dish was absolutely amazing. The beef was a tad bland, but the flavor in the rice made up for it. So full of basil, but not overwhelming, and barely any oil! It was a flavorful yet light dish. The Thai Iced Tea was also amazing. Some Thai Ice Teas are made so heavily that they become hard to stomach, but this one was perfect. The Japanese menu on the other hand wasn’t bad, but not great. I honestly just think Hado’s raw items aren’t as fresh as I would like them to be. We ordered the rock shrimp appetizer and it was fried to perfection with a creamy sauce. Our maki rolls however, were subpar. The fish was bland, and really didn’t have much flavor… good presentation though? But seriously, the rest of the staff is amazing. Our waiter, and busboy were attentive and beyond friendly. Please, Hado, .the.front. She totally downgrades your business.
