These guys are fantastic. I was in a jam and they went above and beyond to help me out. I would recommend them to anyone. Great customer service. Quality products.

If first impressions are everything then I should have walked out the moment I walked in. As soon as you walk in the place it’s dimly lit and smells of old cigarettes. The whole set up is unorganized and there’s not even a lot of items. The place looks like it went out of business months ago. And when it comes to business these guys wanna have there cake and eat it too. They will look for any opportunity to screw the hell out of you. They will low ball you on anything you try to sell them. But when you to get them to even take $ 5 off something they are selling they don’t want to hear it. I know it’s business but I will not deal with a place that is so motivated by greed.

Horrible place, and they use eBay to quote resale value(eBay has had a steady decline in recent years, it’s not like it was 10 years ago) and keep telling you repeatedly they work closely with the Brick Township Police Dept., ummm, that’s great, the stuff I brought in isn’t stolen, I had all receipts. The macho pig that I dealt with needs a promotion to the unemployment line. Eventually, I just took all my stuff back to the car without even making or getting an offer, they make you feel like your a criminal and tell you your stuff is garbage.

I live in the SF Bay Area and I recently had a very pleasant experience buying an very expensive item(over $ 5,000) from Brad and Marc at Cash Converters. Before I bid on the item, I asked them to call me as I had some questions. Brad, the owner, called me within a few minutes on a Saturday morning. He answered all my questions honestly and in detail. After I bid and won the item. Brad and Marc, the manager of the store, provided excellent after sale service in terms of tracking the package, answering additional questions I have on the item. The thing left me with the deepest impression on them is that Brad is that he is very responsive. He always answers my calls or text. That gave me a lot of confidence in working with them remotely. Oh, Btw, the item was nicely packaged too. It’s probably the best packaged item I’ve received from ebay purchases and I’ve bought hundreds of items on ebay. Will definitely do business again. Thank you Brad and Marc!

Had one experience with this business and overall Id say it’s poorly run by incompetent jerks. I’m not surprised they’re still in business because they’ll lowball you on pretty much any item you try to sell. I went there to sell a watch and two digital cameras. An employee directed me to the selling area where a few other employees were standing around talking to eachother, cursing, and saying innappropriate things about other employees as well as customers. Seemed kind of rude, but I just wanted to sell my items and get a fair price so I waited. and waited. a few minutes passed and one of the employees noticed me finally. I laid out my items and the manager took a quick look and went to his computer. First camera, he balked something like«this thing is old, pretty useless» Someone inspected the lens. They said it was worth maybe $ 10. Okay, it was old I admit so I didn’t say anything. One guys picks up the watch. «Do we even sell these? What is this like $ 20 new?» It retailed for $ 380 new actually according to the current website, but it was a year old and I knew it was probably only worth 100 or so. The manager went back to the computer to look up the other camera. «How much you want for all of it?» I wasn’t sure what to ask so I asked them for an offer. They didn’t want to offer anything. «400 $?» I said, knowing the price was high but the second camera was a waterproof Olympus which was about 350 $ new. «Are you f***ing kidding me? Did you smoke weed before you came here?» he said something along those lines. Again, very professional. I let it slide though, I look young, the guy was an asshole but I wasn’t going to tell him right then in his store. «can you make an offer?» I asked. He showed me some eBay prices quickly on the computer, showing me that everything would probably sell for. About $ 160. Of course they would be selling the items at somewhat higher prices, being a retail store, but he tried to convince me that eBay often gained him more profit, pointing out a recent sale of some specialty audio recording equipment that wouldn’t sell in his store(obviously because your average customer isn’t looking for $ 1000 recording equipment). I asked for a cash offer once again. He said he could pay me in store credit or marijuana he had in the back. A joke, I guess. Then he pointed out that he had a nicer watch than mine and that really they were looking for more expensive watches, flat screen tv’s, etc. I guess he was implying my stuff was junk relative to their inventory. That’s one way to turn off a potential customer. So after insulting me he told me to just keep my stuff. So I did. Overall, this place is a joke. The employees insult you, attempt to bully you, offer low prices or no price at all, and act rude when you come up with an asking price. Typical used car salesman behavior, only without one iota od tact whatsoever. Pretty unprofessional I thought. I recommend you stay away from this business, there are other options out there. Especially if you’re just selling DVDs or music. Go to fye, The Howell Record Store, or Princeton Record Exchange. All offer a much more pleasant experience. Cheers!

Always a cool place to buy and sell. Yup, that’s right! Trade your stuff in for cash, and shop for those pre-owned gadgets. They have EVERYTHING… jewelry, electronics, home and car audio and video, music instruments, computers, and tools. Probably anything you can think of. People just like you bring in their stuff(which has to be in good working condition) and they clean it up and re-sell it. They have been in business for years, and always a good experience going in there. Their customer service is good. They are very straight forward, and DONOT take crap from anyone. Security is in place like you wouldn’t believe… live police video recording, photo verification when you sell things. And I am told people still try to sell stolen merchandise! What’s wrong with people?! I buy and sell things here all the time. Everything I have bought here has been in working order, and good quality, except a PDA once. They were great about it though, they replaced right away, and apologized for the inconvenience. I think they flagged the who sold the broken phone too! NOTGOOD!!! OVERALL: A great place. They do not pay retail prices for things you are selling, so do not go here to get the greatest price for you $ 200 iPod. But it’s a good place to get a quick buck for that old guitar or laptop. Service is good, and you will not be disappointed by the products!
