Absolutely love this place! Ordered shrimp scampi while at work and it was honestly the best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had! Only thing was it was a little pricey but worth it!

Everything they make is great. We are lucky to have such a great place in our neighborhood. There specialty slices are out of this work, big mac slice, margarita, etc… and the salads with their home made dressing. While I was eating a lady ordered soup. She was wondering what was taking so long but the soup was home made, you can’t rush it.

Very good pizza and friendly. My family regularly orders here. They sometimes throw in free specialty slices with larger orders like 2 pizzas. Only reason I am not giving a better rating is they have been doing a bait and switch for months now. Their website advertises a special deal, $ 1 dine-in slices. The deal is actually $ 2 dine-in slices. I have asked them about this deal twice now, once last year, and once today. Same answer both times, «I guess he forgot to change the website, the deal is $ 2 slices, sorry.» Well, if I was running a business like this and made the mistake of putting the wrong deal on my website, I would honor the deal that I mistakenly made, then promptly correct the issue. This way I would avoid a potential legal situation due to false advertising. It is not fair to advertise a $ 1 slice, luring customers in, then tell customers it’s actually $ 2 when they get there. They will most likely pay the $ 2 to avoid embarrassment, which is great for you, but a wrong way of doing business. Mr. DeCaro, please reply letting me know the issue is fixed and I will adjust this review accordingly.

First and foremost, let me say that DeCaro’s makes a damned good pizza, has exceptionally friendly owners, and that I really wish I could give them 5 stars all the way. That said, there’s a few things that really hold this place back. The good: The pizza here is among some of the best in the area, I won’t lie. Slices are a decent size, and for a quick lunch I can usually get two tasty specialty slices for under $ 10. The calzones and subs are pretty good as well, and the sauce they use is of a decent, homemade quality. The owners /staff here are incredibly friendly, even going so far as to give a sample slice of various pizzas to regulars, on occasion. They do a great job cleaning up the place as well, and the display cases /counters /tables are always spotless. The unfortunate thing about this place is that they never seem to be open. Maybe the hours on this side of Brick are different than the hours people expect on the 8724 side, but on two occasions I’ve had friends over and attempted to place an order at ~8:45 on a Friday night — only to have the phone ring and ring. Taking a trip down to the restaurant itself had confirmed that they were closed. What pizza place closes before 10PM on a Friday night? We ended up ordering from Napoli instead, who at ~9:15PM was more than happy to deliver a few pizzas across town. Maybe I just have terrible luck, but every single time I try to come here lately, they’re not open. They’re closed early as hell on Friday and Saturday nights, next weekend there’s a note in the door about being closed for the day, and this Sunday the lights were off at noon, despite their menu /website stating that they’re open at 12 on Sunday. Sheesh. On top of that, the last two times I managed to come here when they *WERE* open, I had what could only be described as «surprise pricing». Apparently they updated their menus here, but didn’t actually bother to update their website nor their physical menus. I didn’t take much notice the first time when the price seemed off, since I figured I read the menu wrong. The second time, my sausage parm that I expected to pay $ 6.25 for a half(as per website and menu, including the menus on the counter), ended up being an entire *dollar* more when I went to pay. When I asked, they simply told me «all prices have gone up by a dollar» — quite a steep hike. All in all — this place could be *amazing* if they got their act together a little more. Get your website /menu in order, adopt some normal hours(so that you’re not closing by 9PM on a Friday /Saturday, or not open for lunch on a Sunday), and get the menu pricing under control — 25 — 50cent increases is one thing, but a dollar? As good as the food is, if I can’t actually order anything during the same time every other pizza joint is open, what’s the point? I doubt I’ll be going back anytime soon, since it’s not worth my time to «roll the dice» and see if they’re actually open. A real missed opportunity.

As soon as they opened, they were our new fav pizza place. Pizza is delicious, and they make their own bread from scratch for their subs(love the cheesesteaks!) They give us special slices on occasion, which is always a nice treat! I also have my work ordering from there! About to order right now! :)

I recently got take out from here including there whole made tortellini soup, and a veal chicken dish. It was awesome and so good with no big chunks of garlic which I hate when pizzerias do, because of the location of this place I’m thinking not many people in brick would think to go to this place but they are known for the drive thru pizzeria. But much to my suprise it was better than the pizza places I’ve been going to for over 10 years I would recommend this place to anyone!
