Java Haus Cafe

I hope this place is here to stay. There’s been a few cafes popping up in the Ocean County area and this one also welcomes local talent but seems to be a little more interactive with their patrons and over social media as well.
I came in to check it out super late last Saturday and the owner was very kind and generous to unlock the door and invite me in. Of course if he hadn’t I would have understood too. They close around 2 and open back up around 5 or so on a typical weekday. The design of their sign caught my attention a few times driving by and the place is cute and cozy inside. They have wall art and paintings on display by local artists and have musical guests playing every weekend. Their open mic night is every Thursday.
They have nice looking breakfast and lunch items. I tried a breakfast sandwich and have no complaints. I like that my egg was scrambled a bit instead of getting a typical egg patty. Their iced coffee was delicious. A very warm and comforting experience! Thank you! I will definitely be back during regular business hours.
