This place has the best chicken EVER! I’ve had the steak which is good too, but the chicken is the best! The empanadas are awesome too. Don’t forget to get the green hot sauce. It’s cheap too I get a whole chicken and rice and it’s like 13 bucks and feeds 2 – 3. The chicharons are to die for too

Had lunch here & although it was good I can’t really give it more than 3 stars. I had a chicken & rice dish with slices of red onion. It is served with a green hot sauce that wasn’t hot even by my wimpy standards, however it was tasty. The chicken was cut in small chunks, breaded & fried. Felt like I was mostly eating fried bread crumbs. The chicken was tasty, just too much breading for me. Atmosphere was kind of dingy. Service was very good & the waiter very personable but I don’t really see me returning any time soon.

Love this little secret spot. A coworker of my Fiances introduced this place to us. The food is great, I love trying something new every time I go in. Oscar is THEBEST! Now, yes it’s slow. but remember A. your not at burger king and B. When food is cooked fresh. don’t you think that takes a little while? Its BYOB, crack open a beer or bottle of wine and relax, order some chicken empanadas and unwind! The steak is my favorite!

Super pollo, should be called super wait. I arrive with my wife and 2 sons at 720 pm. Two young man working on the front. People were seating at the tables and no food coming out. Instead of taking care of the people in the restaurant, they were more concern with take out. 20 mn later the young kid, took our order. We knew it will take long, so we order appetizers and diner at once. 10 mn later we get one soda, no water. Even though we ordered water, chichamorada and a soda. We were hungry, so I asked for the half chicken appetizer to please bring out first. They were cutting chicken left and right, but all for take out. 830 pm and still we didn’t get any water or appetizers. To make matters worse the people seating behind us that came later than us started to get their food… so we got up and left. Left $ 2 for the soda… and I guess they ate the food we ordered. Is a shame, my wife who is Peruvian was looking forward to this place, but we won’t return. Hire more people or just become a take out restaurant. We went to Spanish potato grille instead, good food and you don’t get ignored nor have to wait an hour plus to just get one soda. Ridiculous, una porquería de servicio… les debe dar verguenza. Ni siquiera se disculparon ni a mi familia ni a las otras que se quedaron esperando. Otros se fueron tambien. Well, that’s my bilingual review. If you have all the time in the world then go here… good luck… you will regret it.

It was incredible. I ordered the Chaufa de Pollo(Chicken Fried Rice) and it was excellent. It’s little places like these that are total gems. I already can’t wait to go back.

Inexpensive, tasty food. Love the green sauce and steak with pasta. Only thing I would suggest is ice for the water. One of my go to places for a quick, delicious meal.

The rice and beans are so so good. The amount of food that is served is also good. The chicken is tasty and not over seasoned. The salad wasn’t fresh not was it enough. :( I eat in the restaurant several times and the service could be faster but it is passable. However when I order to pick up they begin to prepare the order when I arrive… delaying me so much. I then wondered why would I call the order to be picked up if my time isn’t considered when the order is completed after I get there. Very frustrating but worth it! My first and top choice when I want to eat out and eat home cooked meal. :(

I hate to be like this but I have had several bad experiences at this place. Firstly, when I visit them for lunch, which is only 30 minutes, they rarely have chicken cooked. I had arrived on many occasions for them to say,” chicken isn’t ready yet”. This is at noon. The food may be good there, but if you never get to eat it then that is a problem. Lastly, the service is very slow. When you sit down it takes about 10 minutes before they acknowledge you and actually take your drink order. I would recommend avoiding this place if you do not have 3 hours of your life to spare.

Nice little place. People are starting to find out about it. So you may have to wait at peak times. Owner is always working very nice. Been here several times and always had a good meal. Some times not sure what it was. Chicken was a little dry, but tasty. I never tried the fish so can’t talk about it. Steak was great ! Young waiter not the sharpest everybody else makes up for him.

I find myself in Brick fairly often, and when I do, this is my favorite place to eat. It is fast, friendly, tasty, and cheap. Cash only. The Chicken is good and juicy. The Green Sauce, mmmmmm green sauce. So spicy, so tasty. I like the sweet plantains, and rice and beans. All of the servers are very friendly, some don’t have great English, but the menu is easy to point and order from. They also do a takeout business. It is BYOB, there is a great wine, beer and liquor store just up hill that you can walk to. Closed Tuesdays

Always drove by this place and said«who the hell eats there?» Finally saw the reviews and gave it a try and wasn’t disappointed, It’s like your very own Peruvian mother was in the kitchen cooking for you, everything fresh and tasty, and very reasonably priced. Been a repeat costumer many times and expect to continue. Update 10÷28÷15: Only problem with this place is that they are too busy. Don’t bother trying to call in an order during peak times, ie. Sat evening, they simply won’t pick up the phone. Needs more staff, waiters, phone order takers etc. Guess this is a good problem to have Told the owner he needs to expand, has the demand to triple the size of the place

We came for lunch. Everything is freshly made on premises! The chicken moist and tasty. The seafood soup is heavenly! The empanadas are so darn good and not greasy The price is very inexpensive and clean! Service a little slow but very friendly. Worth checking out! You won’t leave hungry!

We came in here entirely based on high Unilocal reviews to find them very well-deserved. It’s a tiny place in a strip mall, and I almost detoured to the Outback across the parking lot, based on exterior looks alone. My wife and I shared a Lomo Saltado plus a Bistec a lo Pobre. Both were fantastic, and highly recommended. Next time(and there will be a next time), we’ll try the signature rotisserie chicken. Oh, and the lemonade was great. Couple of minor ticks, not enough to subtract a star: 1) no AC, though not uncomfortably warm, and 2) service was a mite slow on account of being very busy. Worth the wait.

We tried Super Pollo earlier this Summer based on the Unilocal reviews. It was my first time eating Empanadas and Peruvian food. We loved it so much we’ve been back a few times. We usually get ½ chicken plus a side for dinner. I try a different side each time. They’ve all been outstanding. Tonight my husband got a Tamale as an appetizer. Delicious! And of course Empanadas. I seriously could eat them every day! Plus you can’t beat their prices. The service is great, and slow paced so you can relax and enjoy your meal. No matter how busy they are, they check on you but never rush you.

My parents have lived in Brick for 28 years but we had never tried Super Pollo II. I am glad we finally checked this place out. You could tell that many of the patrons were regulars. Tip– this place is BYOB, and there is a liquor store a short walk away. We had the rotisserie chicken, fries, rice, beans and plantains. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

You can eat super cheap here if you get half of their rotissiere chicken. Their empanadas are slammin’ and the Peruvian style chicken fried rice is the stuff of dreams. Calling ahead for takeout is your best bet. The couple of times I’ve been there for dinner the place seemed empty but it goes from 0 to slammed in five seconds flat.

Went here based on Unilocal reviews. Everything I read was true. It is a tiny place. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the service and food are outstanding. Beef empanada was seasoned perfectly and was not greasy. Also shared rotisserie chicken and an order of Peruvian chicken fried rice. The rotisserie chicken was moist and flavorful. I would take this over any other rotisserie chicken. It was that good. The fried rice was also excellent and contained a lot of chicken. Sort of like Chinese fried rice but different flavors and way better. Will definitely be returning here!
