This place is fairly new, it attracted a dollar store and made the half of this plaza alive again, but for a buffet the food was good, there could be more choices, and the food was kind of old and dry, the calamari was terrible, but chicken dishes were ok, my favorite part about this buffet is the ice cream, idk why but it’s with unwrapping the ice cream that gets me going, it’s 50 cents to get to go ice cream lol, but everything was good, wait staff were nice, and kept refilling my drink, the hibachi station was the best, where you would tell the cook what you want and he will cook it for you, quite a show, food tasted fantastic if you go to him, thumbs up! And I will return shortly.

I got a coupon in the mail and figured I would give it a chance. I have read both good and bad reviews. I think it is better than average as compared to some of the other buffets in the area. I went on a Friday night and at that time it was $ 10.99 plus drinks were not included in price. It was a little under $ 30.00 for 2 people. I always enjoy grills at buffets. Only a couple of things could have made it better. First offer more meats and add the teriyaki sauce earlier in the cooking process so it soaks in to the food better. Besides that is was a good grill. They had a nice variety of different hot foods. I enjoyed 90% of what I had. Their steak and beefs were overcooked, but everything else I tried was good. The cooked and chilled shrimp was nice and fresh which is very important to me. My daughter was very disappointed they did not have crab legs since that is one of her favorites. Dessert bar could have been a little bigger with more variety, but the ice cream part was interesting. They had tiny cups of Hershey ice cream which I liked. Although the butter pecan tasted good there were no pecans or any nuts in it. They also offered ice cream sandwiches, ice pops and a few other items. The service was okay as far as taking away dirty dishes, but could have been quicker with refills. Hard at times finding them to get you one. But again compared to others in the area it was above average. just hope it stays that way and also does not raise their price since some are already cheaper than them and who give crab legs.

A very popular buffet with a lot of well prepared choices. On my third visit I decided to bring a bottle of wine and the waitress offer us two wine glasses. To our disappointment, both of the wine glasses were dirty. The waitress had simply rinsed out used wine glasses with cold water. Both glasses had traces of residual wine and lip prints around the rims. Disgusting. Good food, but don’t ask for wine glasses. Apparently they have a limited amount of them and do very little to clean them.

Gross! Do not go. Very disappointing on so many levels. Hygiene is suspect. Food is tasteless. Service questionable. HUGEDISAPPOINTMENT. Go down the road for much better, freshly prepared Asian cusine @ Koi. You pay for what you get. Don’t pollute your body. And to think I was eager t try this…

Me and my boyfriend go here all the time, it’s our favorite and the best buffet around. The hibachi is the best, always the same guy and does a killer job, and then ofcourse the sushi bar, where the sushi us actually fresh ! Never a bad experience here, and all at a good price ! Food is always warm, never cold, nothing bad to say about this place

I went here with my misses. For the price the place was fantastic. They had a wide variety of sushi although it’s not the best. The only thing that didn’t taste good was their two types of baked fish. I decided to give them a chance even after reading some 2 star reviews. This place is at least 3 stars or above. Well worth 8 bucks.

I didn’t leave sick. Isn’t that all that matters when it comes to a buffet? In all seriousness though, the food is decent. It’s buffet food. I’ve had much worse though. And it’s cheap. Normally a buffet runs around $ 20 for dinner this place is probably around $ 15? Cheap buffet that doesn’t make you sick? That works for me.

For a buffet, this place gets four stars, read on as to why I put three stars. It deserves four starts mostly because it doesn’t make me violently ill when I leave like other buffets have. Food is decent from their wings to their seafood to their hibachi. The sushi looks good too but I never made it over to that area in my few times here. One thing I noticed was that you now have to pay extra for crab legs??? That’s almost as obnoxious as the person who hovers and takes every crab leg at a buffet. If I’m paying extra can you please open the legs and get the meat out for me too? Free crab legs get you four stars.

Just your average Chinese food buffet nothing special or exciting. Food wasn’t bad and the staff was kind and helpful it just didn’t live up to my expectations I heard many great things. I wouldn’t go back simply because I’m not a huge buffet fan.

Was kinda pricey food wasn’t the greatest tasted like the food was out all day and dried out. Sauce was runny like the sweet and sour sauce I did like the general tos chicken though

Their price is so cheap so that you cant complain. I had huge salad and it was already enough for the price! $ 11.95 for sunday all day and weekend is even cheaper. The best part of this place was Hibachi and Hushey’s ice cream. They make your own hibachi and you can choose meat and veggies and they cook it for you. Mine was really good and I had 2 plates of it with bunch of veggies. I was on my way back from AC to NY and was craving fresh veggies and this was such a perfect dish for meal including salad bar section since I only ate so greasy food in AC. If you go AC and want something cheap and good food on your way back to NY/NJ, you should check out this place!

Update to 5 stars: Wow, this place is much better during peak hours! Quality and freshness are night and day. Even the raw fish(clams, mussels, shrimp) were more than adequate for a buffet, plus the sushi selection while still mediocre is far superior during peak hours with more options. Hot food is constantly replenished as well, with myself sampling much of it yet only disliking the beef. The value here is stupendous. 4 stars for the value, an extra star for service which quickly cleared every plate and refilled our drinks. 3 stars is about right for this place, as it is very much so an average Chinese buffet. Meats are low quality, overcooked from sitting for hours, and drenched in sauce, plus there are too many fried options. The fish is not bad by Chinese buffet standards; in fact, the boiled shrimp are quite edible. However, the cooked squid was incredibly rubbery. Of course the sushi had absolutely no flavor and was pretty awful. Hibachi station looked to be closed early — perhaps next time I’ll stick to the fish and hibachi. Cream puffs were a-ok, and the fruit tasted fresh. We shall see how I feel tomorrow after consuming raw buffet fish and copious amounts of fruit, but for now the buffet is a decent value for the price. Unfortunately however despite not being a bad deal, there is little to like here. If you can get by with boiled shrimp, mediocre crab, and some otherwise mediocre options with perhaps good hibachi(have yet to try it) and tasty fruit then this is the place for you. It is omnipresently obvious here where they cut corners. Although, service is above average for a buffet. The Fortune Buffet in Toms River is superior, but for a local option I could see myself returning.

I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place. Have been here a handful of times and it seems to get worse each time. Had dinner here a few nights ago and all of the food had visibly been sitting out for a while. Everything was barely warm and looked as if it had developed a congealed layer on top from drying out under the heat lamps. The place was moderately crowded so I didn’t understand why they weren’t ensuring that the food was replaced efficiently and was fresh. Also, service wasn’t as efficient as it usually is when you’re at a chinese buffet. Our dirty plates were left sitting on our table for a while even though 3 waitresses were buzzing all over the dining room. It was an underwhelming experience and I think I’ll steer clear of this place from here on out.

Extremely standard Chinese buffet in my opinion. I sampled a little of everything except the hibachi. I’d say half and half things were good, hot and flavorful and things were bland and dry. Service was nothing to write home about. But at the end of the day we got our money’s worth and we didn’t have to wait a long time to sit and eat. Last thing: the water is very refreshing!

You may be tempted to check this place out because of the pics on their website and references to being a «Supreme» buffet but this is middle of the road as Chinese buffets go. Decent selection of the usual suspects including General Tso’s chicken, coconut shrimp, cream cheese wontons, and garlic string beans. The«Americanized» section is pretty sparse with fried shrimp, french fries, spare ribs, and some others. We went on a weekday night and they served small whole crabs, not sure if snow crab legs are offered on the weekends. The hibachi option is a nice touch but the sushi is below par. Anywhere that puts lettuce into their rolls is really stretching it thin. Desert and fruit selections are mediocre. Service and ambiance aren’t half bad but nothing over the top. If you’re looking to quench a quick, afforable Chinese buffet fix then I’d stop by, otherwise your money is best spent elsewhere.

Went with friends back in late January. Food is all right and what’s expected of a chinese buffet. I had to take off a star because I tried the mongolian barbecue station and the guy cooking it placed several orders on the hibachi, which is completely fine, but then used the same cooking chop sticks to stir someone’s order with raw meats and raw shrimp and then went back to stirring my order that was almost fully cooked with just vegetables and noodles. I’m not a vegetarian or anything but eeeehhhhhhhh… I cringed.
This is a long awaited buffet for this town. We have not had a decent one here in a long time. The last good one was too pricy with price going over $ 20 per person. So, the family and my dad who came down to make a visit to the buffet. I love to eat and I like going to a good buffet. No, I am not big, but told that I am skinny. Yes, I can pack in some food. But, I digress here. We were expecting a lot of people as this is a new place in town and sure enough, the place was packed. Still, we were sitted right away and there were few empty tables as more people were coming in. There were several islands including fresh sushi, hibachi station, ice cream cups and ice cream bars. As I walked around to check the type and the condition of the foods available. I’ve noticed most of the food trays were full and they looked fresh. Thinking of my lat buffet experience at Seattle, which was horrible. I was pleasantly surprised with so many people occupying the place. I am almost a creature of habit when it comes to a Chinese buffet and eat basically same thing every where. Avoid fried food as much as possible. As for the food itself, I have to admit they were all pretty good and the sushi were good also. The service was quick, considering again amount of people in there. I didn’t get to try many of the dishes or the hibachi, which gives me a reason to go back and try those. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely! But, if you go there based on my writing and don’t like it, please don’t blame me. Our taste buds may be incompatible. Such is life, right? Happy eating!

I have been here twice, both weekday nights. The second time was better than the first. I love sushi and was happy to see how colorful and fresh it looked. I didn’t particularly love the way it tasted, though. Can’t put my finger on it, but I wasn’t a huge fan. There is a decent selection of standard Chinese buffet fare. They have hibachi chicken, steak and vegetables they make on the hibachi grill and then put into the buffet — very yummy. The made-to-order hibachi grill towards the back is the best part. They don’t have water chestnuts, though. Boo! I’m absolutely happy with the desert choices. Fresh cakes and cookies, but also individually packaged ice cream bars and Dixie cups. So much better than the sloppy and gross scoop-yer-own ice cream at most buffets. All in all, it’s take it or leave it. If you go on knowing the expectation level is just ok, you’ll enjoy yourself. For $ 12, it’s not bad. The second time I went, I went with a large group(~20). They split our checks without asking and there were no issues. I even ran into a local Unilocal«celeb» there! ;)

I’ve been waiting for this buffet to open, notably for two reasons. One, there’s no decent buffets in the area anymore, unless you want to schlep down to Toms River(and even that one is showing its age). Two, this place is right down the street from me. First off, for a buffet — this place is damned swanky. The foyer is lit in blue, and has water-filled glass that bubbles upwards, the buffet is lit overhead by blue lights(buffet food is lit by white, don’t worry), and the entire restaurant just screams«modern». The sushi section is gigantic and had probably the best prepared /most varied rolls that I’ve ever seen outside of a Japanese restaurant. I can’t speak for their quality in terms of flavor since I don’t eat seafood, but if they taste anything remotely like how they look, it should be decent. There’s even seaweed salads to compliment it. Sushi aside, the rest of the buffet is also huge, spanning several large sections with all sorts of stuff that ranges from your typical Chinese food, to BBQ ribs and chicken, meat pies, tons of seafood, etc — picky eaters shouldn’t have a problem. Along the back is a Hibachi section which I also was fairly impressed by, since the raw meats appeared to actually be marinated /seasoned, with plenty of variety for you to pick from. The hibachi chefs are well trained too, you just tell them how you want it cooked(spicy, sweet, garlic, etc) and they do it for you, so it takes the guesswork out of how much sauce to use, something I’m always terrible at. Even the dessert section is pretty impressive, with actual cakes and fresh cookies, instead of the out-of-the-box garbage that’s typical for buffets. The ice cream section was even more impressive, and was filled with single-serve containers of Hershey’s ice cream, water ice, and even those awesome strawberry shortcake and éclair ice cream bars. The quality of the food? Pretty good, for a buffet. None of the meat that I had was dry or overcooked, most items were nice and hot(one item was a little on the cold side), and the sauces were flavorful. Service was top notch, I don’t think my cup ever ran dry. The best part? Even on a Sunday night, the dinner buffet is just $ 12, a pretty solid bargain considering the sheer amount of food they have. A well deserved 5 stars, if you ask me. For a buffet, I don’t think it gets much better than this, and I’ll almost certainly be coming back at some point soon.
