Spacious Starbucks. Lot of options for seating from couches to communal tables. Baristas were quick with the order. Bathrooms are clean.

This Starbucks is good. It’s obviously just like the rest. The staff is nice. It’s in a convenient spot right on Montauk Hwy. My biggest issue was with one of the other customers. One of the baristas told me his name is Paul and he is a regular. I don’t know what it is with these«coffee campers», they feel like they somehow have ownership rights by way of the Homestead Act or something. Not only was this guy acting like he was Dirk Benedict(the older kids will get it), but he was obnoxious to boot. This guy is some kind of like ex-hippie or something. He was roaming around and rambling about Occupy Wall Street. That’s about as old as the over-sized watch he was wearing. If your going to sit in Starbucks all day at least read an up dated newspaper or fashion magazine. He came over to my buddy and I and without asking just started blurting out some of his«original» poetry. Honestly I’ve heard Dice recite better stuff than this at the Garden. WARNING!!! women stay away from this guy or Starbucks if he is around. These teenage girls were leaving and he asked them if they would like to «Make fourteen dollars the hard way?» He followed them out. We saw him harassing them in the parking. It looked like they weren’t having any more of him. He ran over to some old beat up looking Mercedes(probably living out of it) and opened the trunk and started pulling all kinds of sex toys out and waving them around and throwing them all over the parking lot. It was insane. Someone told the manager to call the cops. The manager said he did but they really can’t do anything. Something about this guy’s brother being a «hanger» big shot in the city or something. The girls got in their car and took off. The guy just sat on the curb in the parking lot and played with big watch. My buddy and I took our Lemon Bars went out the other door and booked it the opposite way. CRAZY…

The most unfriendly baristas I’ve ever come across. The only friendly person was the Asian guy. Everyone else had a piss poor attitude.

I’m not from the area cause I’m not rich, but I stopped in here today after visiting the Montauk point lighthouse and I have to say this Starbucks certainly stands out from others I have visited. nice calm music playing in the background, comfy leather chairs and couches, and the place is overall very well designed and old-fashioned looking, in a good way. the one complaint I have is that I was 21 when I ordered. I’m currently 72 and still waiting for my beverage. I’m sure it’ll be good though.

This is by far the most awesome Starbucks on Long Island. Don’t listen to previous posts, just a bunch of privileged brats that have no respect to leave anyone a 5 star. I’m going to say I’m not from the area but I frequent a lot of Starbucks across America. This place is clean, well stocked neatly, efficient service, nice bathroom, spacious, A+ architecture design, furniture is not worn out, & the drinks came out perfect. Now this Starbucks clearly has a low self esteem cos they have all these apology signs about their appearance. That did make me question if I was at the most FABULOUS starbucks in the Hamptons. However, after sitting here a while, and enjoying convos with the locals, I realized I was in the right place. My note to this Starbucks is to ditch these negative nancy flyers cos everything is fine! Peace

It is almost painful to give a Starbucks a 4 star rating but the staff is always great and the Clover brewer is amazing. Outside of Sagtown in Sag Harbor, a Clover brewed coffee from here might be the best cup on the east end of the island. I am from the south and hadn’t had a Clover brewed coffee until last year. It is basically the fanciest French press ever, using single origin beans of your choice. Oh yea, don’t buy food here, or at any Starbucks for that matter.

A pretty nice, big Starbucks with comfy seating and a full menu. The staff is friendly and fairly quick, even when busy. The large size, big communal table, and couches give lots of options for relaxing, though they also attract squatters. They have a full menu including clover brews and reserve blends. Nice place to hang out.

One of the nicest spaces for a Starbucks. Great jazz and wonderful seating. Of course the menu at every Starbucks is the same. But what sets this apart is the great ambiance. There is a lot of hard wood and leather chairs. Lots of natural light. And great b-bop to complete the picture. A great stop.

I love the seating arrangement in this Starbucks. One of my top five in the country and I’ve been to plenty. Friendly enough staff. Not warm and friendly, but efficient, fast and thorough. Four star service. Well made drinks.

This is one of the most beautiful Starbucks I have ever been to. The inside is dark wood, roomy, rustic and comfortable. Conference tables, comfy chairs and product(coffee, tea and accessories) lining the walls to the left. You’ll notice against the back wall(behind where they pull the espresso shots) a very old fashioned safe which is absolutely gorgeous. We asked the barista about it and he politely informed us that the building used to be a bank, very long ago. Great coffee and interesting stories. Definitely a fan of this particular Starbucks.

Big inside, spacey, and decent service. It’s hard to give a 4⁄5 rating for a Starbucks — I’ve done it before, and it was due to great customer service and quality of service. At this location in Bridgehampton, nothing stood out at all. They always make my coffees right, which is my 3⁄5 rating: consistency.

I’ve stopped here for coffee the last two times I was driving out east. Large comfortable seating area and lots of different coffee beans available. It’s definitely nicer than the starbucks in my area.

Bridgehampton Starbucks is in a former bank building. Large comfortable seating areas and potential celebrity sightings. Bathrooms were clean, employees competent and check out the really cool door to the old bank vault.

It’s hard to get too excited about Starbucks, but I wanted to let people know that this is one of the 11 locations in New York State(according to the sign in the lobby) that offers coffee via the Clover Process. The only other one that I have found is in Port Jefferson. I tried a hot Clover Jamaican Blue Mountain reserve coffee and I was very impressed.(You can get Clover process coffee iced as well, but I’m not a fan of iced coffee.) The coffee had a much, much deeper taste and a richer aroma than the standard Starbucks coffee. If you feel like Starbucks and want something a little different, stop by and try it. I’m assuming it will be everywhere one day so get it first.

I am not sure why but there is something that is not right here. ANDITSSTARBUCKS… It’s always empty but my drink takes longer than Debra Messing’s dye job. One of the bathrooms is always closed and what IS behind that vault door. The staff is always more engaged with each other than any customers. It’s a shame the East Hampton Starbucks wasn’t afforded the vast space this location aquired.

Since Starbucks changed the décor here, its a big improvement. The service is a little off sometimes, like there always seems to be someone who is learning. But everyone is nice.

Service was fast and friendly … but unfortunately my $ 4 coffee wound up in the trash. Wasn’t made properly and tasted like bland hot milk. Panera Bread is better and cheaper.

WORSTSTARBUCKSEVER!!! I don’t know why I continue to go here, probably out of convenience. I always walk in here thinking«it can’t be as bad as I remember» but after I walk away with my drink I am always reminded that it is WORSE. The drinks never come out right, they rush through preparing them, the presentation is AWFUL, and the flavor is terrible. I got a frapuccino today and it was all ice with a dash of flavoring, at the last minute, the guy was nice enough to throw a splash of syrup on to the top, how nice of him, beautiful presentation. The person I was with, got a raspberry mocha frap, usually they drizzle raspberry syrup on the top, not in Southampton, they can’t be bothered.

Unfortunately, as far as Bridgehampton is concerned, your options for coffee are Starbucks and The Golden Pear(unless you want to get something from a deli and sit on a bench). Both places get extremely crowded in the summer(and probably during the morning and lunch time). As far as local places go(aside from The Golden Pear which has a few locations, but is local), there’s Javanation in Sag Harbor which is tiny and will also be crowded and hard to find parking. I can always tell the people who’ve only visited a place in the summer from their reviews because they’ll harp on the crowds completely disregarding the fact that they traveled to a place that triples its population in the summertime(and can really only accommodate the local population). Another thing that is not taken into account is how many rude people the poor Bridgehampton Starbucks baristas have to deal with on a daily(hourly? minute. ly?) basis. I really can’t blame the people(who have never once been rude to me, although they do get backed up and it takes a while to get drinks, same as NYC) if they aren’t super friendly all the time. I don’t know what the deal is because my impression of New Yorkers was terrible until I actually moved to NYC. I don’t know if it’s just that the particular breed of Manhattanite who visits the Hamptons is rude and obnoxious or if these people just stroll into«the haaaaamptons» thinking that they’re better than anyone else(or both) because they treat everyone like dirt. I lasted one month working in a store in East Hampton because the people were so terrible to me and the store I worked in rarely got crowded. My best friend’s mother overheard a woman saying how, «the locals should just stay in on the weekends.» Uh, yeah. So expect lines, expect to wait and maybe your barista won’t smile and ask you how your day is going(because he/she is busy making 10 drinks at a time including whatever convoluted concoction you ordered), but this is what you signed up for by visiting The Hamptons, hope you enjoyed your stay.
