I’m in the landscaping business, and every morning before we start our daily routine; my crew and I stop by for a fresh bagel and coffee. I’ve tried different breakfast places in the are but none compare to Bagel King of Bridgeport. I love the clean environment, above all everything is well done. Owners are very friendly and make sure you get the best customer experience you can get.

Sandwiches are really solid here, and they have a nice variety on the menu to choose from. The soup options are usually good, too(and the bagel chips with them are a plus!). I’m deducting points for their salads(the toppings are really delish, but the last several times I’ve gotten them, the lettuce has been slimy/wilted) and for the small size/inconsistency in freshness of their bagels. Prices are pretty standard, although they might be slightly overpriced for Bridgeport, but there’s not much competition in the area. The line gets really long with business people around lunchtime so you might be gambling if you’re in a rush, especially since speed of service is generally inconsistent.

Bagels are great but most of the time I find my cream to be curdled in my coffee. Worst part is they are in denial about their old creams being used and swear it’s just a natural thing that happens when the coffee is too hot. Reality is its just nasty either way. Check the dates and temp on your cream and make sure the coffee isn’t too hot then. I’ve stopped getting their coffee and only go for breakfast sandwiches on bagles.

A true bagel… Crunchy, flavorful outside. Great spreads too! The only problem is the always-long line and the size of the bagels. Absolutely tiny!

Great wraps & sandwiches, and an outdoor patio bigger than the restaurant itself. Friendlt pleasant staff as well.

One of the better spots in the area. Fresh bagels, bread, and good cold cuts

Grest coffee, sandwiches are awesome. My one complaint is that they can sometimes be slow, but the last few times I went they were pretty fast. Staff is always friendly too.

Good breakfast-bagels and egg and cheese. Drive thru people constantly get orders wrong.

To be honest m-f I find their bagels to be very burnt, when they are not burnt or the weekends they are awesome. Be very wary of the drive through unless it’s a very simple order. Muffins are decent, cookies are thick dry and bland.

I have to say I’ve had a few breakfast across the state but seriously this beats ALLOFEM. It snowed this morning I wanted to go to Dunkin Doughnuts instead I said I literally live near this place I’ll go there instead. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a garlic bagel with a medium coffee(Toffee flavored) and it was the best breakfast I ever had! 100 times better than Dunkin Doughnuts. Fresher ingredients soft bread I was so blown away I took lunch home. There is a very pretty lady with black hair she’s Spanish let her make your food. The short one with red hair got my order wrong and her sandwich wasn’t as good as the other lady. I highly recommend this place, very friendly environment with nice customers and customer service!
