Great atmosphere! Wonderful people! The food is the best in town. Elegant décor and fine drink specials. This blackrock diamond in the rough is home to many famous intellectuals and modern day poets, history is made here everyday. Top notch hang out to meet refined women and polished gentlemen. Try the lunch specials.

This place is an outstanding hole-in-the-wall type situation. It’s probably not the best place to pick up women, but the food specials and the beer prices are on-point. Get the chicken parm dinner for lunch for only $ 5, and a domestic beer during happy hour(5 – 7) for $ 2. In my opinion it’s the most underrated bar on fairfield ave.

Four of us waltzed in here at about midnight-thirty, still in the outfits we wore to a wedding earlier, so we clearly blended right in. The place is grungy and divey, it couldn’t have been more perfect of a place for us on this night. Barmaid was amazing and lovely and kind. I mean, well and truly awesome. Loved everything that came out of the jukebox, though it was a bit Dead-heavy, but it was fine, because four beers cost only 15 bucks, and they were good beers, too. I very seriously doubt that I’ll ever find my way back to this town again, but if I do, I’ll put on my finest gown and plop down next to the jukebox with a beer.

It’s a dive bar. A real dive bar not a semi-popular bar inhabited by hipsters. In that way, I love it. The food smelled good but I’ve yet to eat here. This is the place to go when you want a drink and that’s it. I mean that in the best way possible.

Free food during Happy Hour(I’ve only been here on Fridays and see it, not sure if it’s put out everyday) Total dive bar, cheapest… yet strongest drinks around. Always have some unsuspecting characters lurking around… but harmless and everyone for the most part keeps to themselves. Bartenders are nice and friendly.
