We started going to this location soon after we moved to Bridgeport. Someone who attends the church where we go was selling discount cards and so we bought one and went there to try it out. The staff is always courteous the store is always clean and I have yet to have a bad experience there with anyone. I appreciate the fact that when it gets near closing time that they don’t stop serving the items on the menu. Some locations try to close so early that the customer doesn’t get the service that they need help until closing. The management staff is always friendly! In the day we live in its difficult to find places like this one!

I only do McDonalds for breakfast. If I’m in the mood for a biscuit they’ve become far better than Hardee’s and other competitors, sadly. I’m trying to cut down a smidgeon on the carbs, so the burritos my current go to, and I can get tea and dump some stevia in it, and not feel so guilty, but damn if I can find a McDonald’s on my routes that can do everything right to keep me a happy breakfast customer. Those Taco Bell breakfast commercials are starting to look more attractive. They did it again. Asking specifically for ketchup at the window netted me double the hot sauce and no ketchup. I also asked for a side of onions, which I know they heard because it was on the screen, then I heard the backup worked at the pay window yell to the kitchen for them(they won’t put them in the burritos, claiming they’re pre-made, never an issue at ANY other McDonalds, they just give me the side of onions I ask for and that’s that. This one first tried to argue with me the first time I asked for them, saying they can’t do that, and I said, «I know, that’s why I asked for a side of onions.» Oh. Doh.). So I roll up to the pick up window, a bag is shoved out the window after I ask for the ketchup. Silly me, I drive away without checking. At the office, no ketchup, no onions, 8 packs of hot picante. I really am starting to think it’s intentional at this location. They’re fast, but apparently they don’t like customers to ask for anything they can’t readily push a button for, and someone there must have worked for Chick-fil-A in the past, or just detests onions. Who knows at this point. What I do know is this kind of crap usually occurs at the franchise locations, which this one is, and not the company stores. I just don’t get it though. If it were their breakfast, and they liked onions with their burrito, and ketchup on their potatoes, they wouldn’t think it was an odd request?! Right? The South Charleston McD’s, at my «other home» location, also a franchise, has serious problems with speed, but they don’t mind customers that like onions, and they always get your order right, even if you have to wait 15 minutes in like to get it. If it wasn’t 1000 feet from my office, I wouldn’t ever hit this place again. I may have to start dealing with the traffic mess and hitting Taco Bell for breakfast. Screws up my drive down the hill to the office, but at least I might get the breakfast I want.

Eat at your own risk. After a long drive I stopped to eat here because it was the only place opened… mistake. I ended up staying up the rest of the night vomiting. I realize McDonalds isn’t healthy but it should at least be clean.
