Very friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. Ive been ordering from here just about every weekend for the last 2 years and i have yet to find a resturant that compares to this one.

Maybe it’s just me but the chicken teriyaki I had here for lunch was very blah and not cheap either. I had way better at the Trumbull mall for less money.

Ive been here several tine great service sushi is amazing i have no complaints comfortable atmosphere very clean a great experience i will continue to eat here very happy!!!

Great sushi place.
I always get the shrimp tempura roll and the California roll. They make them super quick for take out. Also, love that they deliver!
I haven’t had too much else, but the habachi chicken entrée was AMAZING! Very very delish. Definitely recommend for takeout!

I chose this sushi to go because of its «high rate review». However, the California roll I ate is not fresh at all. And the lady over here is very rude and refused to get me another dish. Overall, I am not gonna recommend this place.

great place in town, first time here. Really Asian food you may not find in 50miles. Fresh food with clean place and reasonable price. Wonderful service. Shangri-​la Roll is mush try, great taste.

Had my first experience here this afternoon and got the three classic roll and a wonton soup to go. I ordered the California roll, eel cucumber and sweet potato. They were all delicious, my friends also enjoyed the sushi. The pricing was fair and the staff was very accommodating. Would like to try the other rolls on my next drive by.

Pretty good sushi here, we order to-​go all the time. My favorites are the spicy crunchy tuna, rainbow roll, Connecticut roll and a miso soup. There are so many others I still need to try! We also order fried rice sometimes I think the dish is Yang Chow, it’s always good, especially on the nights that we don’t feel like cooking.

Love this place! Have ordered takeout from here numerous amounts of times. Staff is always pleasant whether it be delivery or pick up. Service is quick too, haven’t waited more than a half hour for my orders to be ready. One thing I do love is that that the staff are very accomodating. I tend to mix and match items that are not offered on the menu, but for a small charge they make your order to your specifications! The food is great quality and you really get your money’s worth. Sushi is fresh and made to order. My personal favorites would be the bento box specials, so much food at a really decent price. Only down would be the szechaun wontons. The wontons were fantastic but the sauce was a little strange (too much peanut sauce maybe?) Regardless definitely will try again and ask for less peanut sauce. Great place and i definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great Chinese/​Japanese fusion restaurant!

I came here on a whim, my friend was next door at a drs apt, so I planned to run into subway (next door) to get some diet coke. I saw the sign for Shanri-​La and decided to check out the sushi.
They have a $ 7.50 lunch special for two rolls and a sou or salad or soda.
I ordered spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll and decided to add a soda. Shortly after I decided I really wanted soup too so I made an additional order for a small wonton soup.
The venue is small and there was no one there dinning, I didnt expect much. The stadd was polite and quick and within 6 or 8 minutes I had my meal.
It was, Phenomenal! And at that price! I ended up eating all my to-​go sushi right there on the spot! The wasbi wasnt that weird watered down stuff, it was thick fresh chilled wasabi that tasted perfect.
I was so happy to open my warm soup when i was back to the office and found that unlike all the other places, the wontons are actually edible! Theyre not huge (aka destroyed by the time you can get a correct portion into your mouth) and they were a delicate meat flavor which I prefer.
It was so good were going back again today!
Definitely recommend this!

Ate in for sushi, the visit was overpriced for the quality of food received and atmosphere. However, the lunch specials look like they’re worth the visit. Outside of the lunch special, you’ll get more bang for your buck (and way better sushi) up the street at the mall’s Ten Asian Bistro.

We used to love this place and would get delivery from here all the time. We made the mistake of going to the restaurant and eating. It was an awful experience, the placed smelled horrendous, service was atrocious and food was awful! We thought maybe it was just a bad night but then we got delivery a few weeks later and it was awful again!

Overall a nice take out place with settings available for those that wish to dine in. Seaweed salad is nice and cool, pad Thai is amazing, should stick to the cooked side of the menu rather than the sushi/​sashimi.

The Singapore bowl was not that good and had a lot of oil. Way to much.

By far the best Chinese fast food in Bridgeport. Dried shredded beef (Szechuan style) almost made me cream my pants. The sushi is great too!

This place is not chinese takeout, Its more like Asian Cuisine.
Pad-​Thai, Sushi etc.
I recommend this place to everyone. You can tell that the owner actually cares about his food.

Came here again after I started to crave some Indonesian rice. Took a couple of friends with me, it was their first time, and they ordered Sushi and Orange Chicken.
The portions are big enough to share, and as good friends we do share our food.
The Sushi is good, and fresh. Even though Shangri-​La doesn’t look like a typical Sushi restaurant, they know what their doing.
The orange chicken is GREAT!!! Never tested something like it before, you could taste the freshness of the orange in its flavor… definitely a dish to order and to recommend.
Shangri-​La might not look like it, but the food is for sure of great quality, and a generous quantity.

Had the sushi platter for two. Didn’t taste fresh at all.
I would go for the cooked food.
It’s primary a take out place with seating areas for those that decide to dine in.

I didn’t used to be a big fan of sushi until I tried the spicy crab rolls from here. Now we order takeout from here a few times a week, it’s so addictive ! If you are new to sushi, the chicken tempura roll is also very good. The lunch special is $ 7.99 for 2 rolls and a soda (some places charge that for just 1 roll) They deliver around Bridgeport for a $ 15 minimum.
