The Family was hungry and we wanted to get some dinner. I Unilocaled the area to see what others recommend around the area, this location had a 4 star so we decided to check it out. We arrive and there is a band playing in the front of the location. The front has some seats with umbrellas but it was packed there wereno available seats. So we headed inside to be seated. We walked in there is no one to welcome us so finally we get someone’s attention and the young lady says,… oh just have a seat anywhere you would like and someone will be right with you. A waiter comes to our table with some menus after about 5mins. Menus are plastic three fold looks a bit beaten down. I reviewed another Unilocalers review Who recommended the nachos, so we ordered then as an appetizer and our drink. My father Inlaw ordered some coke but it was flat and my mother Inlaw glass of white zinfandel seemed watered down. The nachos came and it was great. The meat was fresh and nachos were crispy(maybe a little bit more cheese was needed :)). Food came out father Inlaw ordered steak tacos(«New York strips») looked more like beef chunks but they were flavorful. My mother in law ordered chip & fish batter had a very strange taste and fish was bland. My husband ordered a large calzone was never brought to us, when he ordered the waiter suggested a small calzone he said no I want the large then we asked for the order where after 10min of everyone’s food being out again she said get a small one it comes out faster(we assume she forgot to place the order and didn’t even apologize for forgetting smh). So he ended ordering a small, it came to the table when we were about to leave. My husband took the calzone home he said it wasn’t really good ricotta cheese over powered the calzone. I had the penne a la vodka with the Cajun chicken. Cajun chicken was amazing penne was average. Overall experience we had to rate it a 2 because of the nacho and chicken. Don’t think we will be returning.

We recently re-discovered this restaurant and are ready to try everything. We received a menu in the mail and were most impressed by ‘everything made from scratch’. The chicken is the freshest and so delicately prepared. Then the sides are so perfectly balanced. My recent Chicken Florentine had fettuccine with a butter sauce that mirrored the tastes of the chicken. It also appeared to be home-made pasta! The staff are all so efficient and friendly. Looking forward to more great experiences here.

Recently went to this venue for a private event. The management was unorganized and unprepared. The staff was rude. The Salad was overdressed. The pasta was decent and the chicken had too much lemon. I’ve been to this establishment previously for drinks and pizza and have had pleasant experiences. I would not recommend this place for private events.

This place is great. my hubs and I went on a Saturday afternoon and ordered an appetizer of calamari(which a day later my hubs still is raving about.) Two bowls of French onion soup, and to top it off a Gorgonzola and Steak pizza. everything was great. Our waitress was super friendly and efficient. There is nothing I could say negative about this restaurant and my hubs and I will be back soon.

Again, how have I not reviewed a place that’s in my arsenal of staples? Bizarre! Completely homey, totally low key, great red sauce & pizza. Tony, the owner, is completely affable and a joy to talk with. Toni, his sister who is often behind the bar, so friendly! She and I had a nice meal in San Francisco with a mutual friend once. Portions are huge and prices completely reasonable. Pizzas come out at Happy Hour which are a treat! I like the food and always find something on the menu. This time he even noted Gluten Free options — very forward thinking Tony! He also is very conscious of getting the very best ingredients he can get with many being sourced from Italy. He cares about what he serves when he can easily cut corners. The mushroom soup special was incredible! A joy overall. Another nice thing about Tony — he keeps putting money into improvements and expanding the restaurant. They have a really great outside area now. Rachel was an excellent server. Completely attentive & friendly! Complimentary cannolis — yeah!

The day we went there they must of been on an off day because they did not even have bacon, and everything we asked for it seemed like they were out of it, or they were down to the very end of it. I think it was just an off day though. I will not judge them for it and I will go back to this place. The one thing I do remember is they reawakened my love affair with cannolis. I brought home a box of cannolis from them. I have to say I have not had cannolis that delicious in a very long time. The food is good. I mean it’s not spectacular, but it’s good, filling, and reasonably priced for the area. I believe this place is more of a fun hang out. Where you drink, get some food, and listen to music. I remember the waitress and the bartender were pretty awesome. They were friendly, very knowledgeable, and very accommodating.

Don’t ever get delivery from this place! We have ordered delivery from here a lot over the past few years usually it is OK, it takes along time but the food is usually hot. When we order we always ask if it is busy, because if it is, we wont order due to it taking to long and the food arriving cold. Today the woman on the phone said it was not busy, and it would take 45 minutes-1 hour to come, so we ordered. Our food came 1 hour 40 minutes later, COLD. When we called to let them know of the problem, she told us to heat it up, I’m sorry but i think that is what we paid you for. She said she didn’t believe us that it was cold. It was cold. The food is good here, just don’t order delivery and expect your food to arrive warm or salvageable.

The pepperoni pizza was bland and stiff. We also got two orders of wings, one was mild which tasted like a poor mans KFCand the hot wings were not spicy at all. Even the blue cheese that came with the wings seemed flavorless. For the expenses we paid I was severely underwhelmed!

41 dollars for what was effectively Gas Station pizza, and hot wings that I believe were sauced exclusively with heinz ketchup. Even the bleu cheese dressing was awful. Conclusion: Never eat here.

Im definitely a fan of the food at Tony’s. Some of the best grinders Ive had, north of Stamford/NYC. I love the calamari and the caesar salad is my favorite in the area. Can’t beat free late night pizza in the bar, either! If the atmosphere was a little more«nice restaurant» and less«local dive bar meets local night club»(DAMN is it loud in there), I would give Tony’s a 4 star rating. My boyfriend and I had a great Valentine’s Day dinner here(even though it was almost 10pm since he had to work) and really enjoyed our evening… even had some dessert on the house. And we’ve had several great meals since then as well. However, the last time we were there with a friend for a few drinks and some pizza at the bar(a few months ago) a HUGE fight broke out in the bar area. This lead to my boyfriend and the friend we were with, ushering me and two girls sitting near us behind the bar so we didnt get hurt in the commotion. True to form, Tony broke it up pretty quickly, threw out the guy who started the fight, righted all the tables and plants which had been knocked over and started comping drinks for all at the bar. I can’t say that it hadn’t left us completely unsettled and on edge. We were still waiting on our pizza(we were working on a salad and calamari when the fight broke out) and when it came, we couldn’t eat and leave fast enough… especially when 5 cops showed up. As much as I love the food here — and I do, I really really do — we haven’t been back since. Whenever I mention it to my boyfriend(as I did this weekend) he just comes back to that night and how stressed out we all were. A good dinner is supposed to be relaxing!

Based on the ratings here, we decided this would be a good place to take my mom for her birthday with our entire family. I knew it wasn’t going to be a fancy place and thought it would be good, because we have 3 young children dining with us who would probably be loud and running around. We made an early reservation, hoping to be out before the dinner crowd. I was embarrassed when we walked in and thought my mom was going to be really upset. This place looked like a dive bar. We requested to be sat in the«wine room», which was a little nicer. They told us they had a party in there earlier and were still cleaning up, it would be 5 minutes. 10 minutes later, we were told it would be 15 – 20 minutes more! It actually didn’t take that long and we were seating in the«nicer» of the two rooms. Service was the worst I’ve ever experienced and there was only one other group of people sat in the room with us. Once we were seated, we were ignored unless we grabbed the waiter as he was walking by. We asked for a wine list and were told they don’t one. We asked what type of pinot noir they had and the server didn’t know. He went to ask the bartender and came back with a hand written list of wines they have: Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, etc! We asked for the brand of Pinot Noirs, not a list of wine varietals! You need to go ask the bartender was the response. Meanwhile, my husband ordered a beer and the server left to get that without taking anyone else’s drink orders. We ordered a couple of appetizers, which were good, but cold. We were a party of 8 and they brought out 3 breadsticks for the table. Each meal was supposed to come with a salad and they brought out one salad for the whole table. This salad would probably serve 2 – 3 people. One member of our party went out to speak to the server and asked for more salad and more breadsticks. They brought another 3 breadsticks and we were told they were all out of salad. By this time it was probably 7:30(Yes, for those of you paying attention, 2 hours had passed and our meals still weren’t here). The saving grace of this restaurant and review was the meal. Wow, delicious! Now I see why there were great reviews. My husband and I shared the twin lobsters($ 19.95) and the prime rib($ 19.95). Excellent! Everyone was very happy with their meals. The portion sizes were huge and the taste was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. Will I go back??? I’m struggling with this one. I may call to get take out instead.

Tony’s is the place we go to get our pizza’s when we need more than 5 pies. Tony’s has great pizza for a small price. Haven’t had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant myself, but picking up the pies it looked inviting and worth a try in the future. Tony’s also has multiple big screens where you can watch sport games, and a bar for those that do bars. Tony’s is very generous too, they are always willing to support us when we have a big community outreach, with some of their tasty pizza’s.

I have had many pleasant moments there… Very friendly staff, the food is magnificent and the kitchen is generous with the portions… LOL you get a fresh baked bread while waiting for your food, try the seafood combo… oh God it’s so yummy you will never want to stop eating… I still recall the delicious after taste, herbs and butter and garlic sauce… yummmmm… almost orgasmic… lol… and it won’t even bother your boyfriend to kiss you… lol. Drinks are priced reasonably and they make’m sooo goood, no cheating on the shots, you get a generous glass so it’s great for a girls night out… lol. say Hi to Vanna for me if you go… lol
