This place has roaches, beware, I wondered why I was the only one present at lunchtime, the locals know this too no doubt. I did see roaches underneath the chaffing dishes, which contained the buffet lunch items.

As a huge fan of Indo/Pak cuisine, I was absolutely thrilled to find this place in my neighborhood. The first time I ate there it was great, but honestly I think that was just wishful thinking. The food is simply awful. You’d be better with the boxed curries they sell at the supermarket. The rice was crunchy. The sauces were beyond bland, and the meats were dry. The dinner buffet, at nearly 20 dollars, is the culinary equivalent of a violent mugging. I really, truly wanted this place to be successful. I went several times, thinking I just had them on an off day. Nope. The service is great though. If the owners are reading this– fire your kitchen staff immediately and rehire. There are so many people in this neighborhood clamoring for this kind of cuisine.

I’ve kind of become an Indian buffet aficionado, and stopped by here a few times. I hadn’t been here for many, many months and on my visit this week, I was impressed with the improvement in the buffet. I have learned that the food is more Pakistani than Indian, so it does taste a little different than most purely Indian fare. The samosas were nice as was the chana(chick peas). Lots of meat and protein dishes, including what I believe is a passable goat curry. The place is nothing fancy, and I’ve never seen many people present. The food was interesting and the staff very courteous and attentive.

We got there late for the Lunch Buffet and were a little leery(after 2) but I’m happy to say that both the food and variety were excellent. Will definitely be going back for more.(10yrs experience on Devon Ave)

Went at 4pm on a Saturday with the Groupon for the buffet. We were the only people in the place. Service was great. The people that were working were so friendly and helpful. Not pushy or overbearing, just really nice and attentive. The food was not very good. I figure that it has been sitting since the lunch buffet, maybe? They should take the time to stir the dishes once in a while so the grease doesn’t pool to the top. I had no idea what most of the food was, as it wasn’t labled and didn’t look like standard Indian foods. They did have samossas and tandori chicken legs — both were really good. The rest was just kind of blah — didn’t taste much like Indian food, the spices were off. The quality of meats in some of the dishes wasn’t good. I would not go back for the buffet. I may try it again and order off the menu.

This place wasn’t that bad. I kinda liked it. Every experience is different.

With only two tables, the«waitress» forgot the only two things we asked for: naan and tea. The buffet was obviously leftovers that weren’t replenished when they were emptied. And some weird guy in a fedora and a bluetooth came over to our table for some unknown reason. Avoid this place, please.

We were pumped to learn that a new(to us, at least) indian/pakistani place opened up nearby. A clear bonus was that on grubhub, they offer internet-ordered free delivery. We tried the chicken korma and the sultans platter, which consists of chicken boti, tandoori chicken, sheekh kabob, and fish tika. The chicken korma was pretty rustic and tasty, a bit greasy, though we expected such. The kabob was tasty, the chicken boti was plain and flavorless, the fish tika was very fishy tasting. I looooved the tandoori chicken and will probably get that in the future(if i dont try something new first.) The naan was good too, we will order again.

For the person who thought they were eating pork they need to know that that restaurant would never serve pork as it is forbidden/taboo in Islam. This restaurant is Pakistani which is Muslim. Good critics do their diversity homework.

The hubby and I went for the lunch buffet on a Groupon. I made a point to try everything. The restaurant was nicer on the inside than it appeared from the outside. The buffet looked inviting, yet not everything was labeled. The unlabeled chicken stew looking dish was the best but sadly I’ll never know what to call it. The samosas were huge, and not too bad. I usually love chicken curry, but their version was more of a broth than a sauce and the chicken was full of bones. Not big bones but little bones that you stick you where it hurts. I had to spit out mouthfuls of food because there were just too many little shards of bone. A lot of the vegetable dishes were hot in one spot, cool in others and loaded with grease, it was pretty unappetizing. The pork was very chewy and tough. Dessert wasn’t too bad, if you like super sweet rice pudding and donuts. Why one star? If I have to spit my food out because of a mouthful of bones, it’s not going to end well.

I’m originally from the Northside and know GOOD Indian food. I bought the Groupon and I was pleasantly surprised by the food, both my wife and I. I think their Sumosa’s were excellent and the Buffet was solid. I am glad I found this place and will be going back w/my wife. It is a nice and clean restaurant and I think the price is fair for what you get. Cheers!

We went there because we had a groupon and never even got to eat there because they were not open an hour after the posted hours on the door. My wife went in to see if they were open and they said it would be another 15 minutes. The lady was also talking on her earpiece the entire time. I wouldn’t go back.

Id give this place no stars If I could. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. It’s strange, scary and the food is horrible. It’s suppose to be a buffet, well they have about 5 items to choose from(this is including the rice). Everything was horrible. I bought the«meal» through groupon. If i didnt have a groupon I would have walked out as soon as I saw how this place looks. The fact there was NOONE there on a sunday afternoon said enough about the place. i dont recomend… many people will be dissapointed because over 300 groupons were sold. Sorry guys :(
