Upgraded Hannaford’s in Bridgton to a 4 Star because they did NOT raise their prices this summer! Very very very happy!
Still great employees!
Still good meats and produce (local farms in the summer)
Still SUPER busy in the summer with tourists!
Only complaints– bring back Chiquita Banana’s! The replacement ones are awful! Also the Baggers need better training or supervision. Very few know how to bag well.

20% higher than hfuds in Windham, Conway or oxford! Going back to Food City — bonus is fewer rude yuppie tourists «summer types». Yay.

I’ve just about had it with this place. The produce selection used to be decent and usually fresh. Not anymore. Floppy kale, moldy strawberries and little selection. I was actually told by an employee that they keep things at a «bare minimum».
The prices are out of control. Be prepared to spend a lot for very little.

Tip top groceries in Bridgton. Clean, huge, chock full of Geary’s Winter Ale and fresh produce, this Hannaford is the place to shop in town. Also has a Red Box with $ 1.00 DVD rentals.

This is pretty much the only game in town as far as supermarkets go but this place is solid.
