Disorganized today– they need to get their act together!

I’ve eaten at Eloise’s for 15 years at least. I worked at a marina around the corner from there from when I was 13 up through my college summers. I’ve always considered it a good place for breakfast or lunch sandwiches, usually to-go orders. I stopped in with my brother on my way to drop him at the marina where he now works. He ordered pancakes that were good, I ordered half a sub to eat and half a sub to take home. I went to bite into it and found a hair. Definitely not my own. I quietly made them aware, and they took it in the back and remade one. My brother was already done eating so I just suggested they made that one to go as well. When I got the check I thought it was inappropriate that they charged me for both halves of the sub. I told the woman at the counter I was surprised they didn’t take half the sub off and she said why, we made you another? I said, I couldn’t eat my sandwich because I found a hair. I’m just surprised you didn’t take the half off the bill. She said something to the other woman behind the counter and said, why would we take it off the bill if we remade the sandwich. Eventually the first woman just said ok ill take off half. The money wasn’t the issue, I was planning on leaving a five dollar tip on a $ 13 bill, I was just shocked by their lack of customer courtesy and concern for quality. There’s way too many sandwich places around to deal with this level of service.

Coffee was good. Service was good. The eggs Benedict was good. My wife’s inlet was nicely prepared. Nice breakfast place, a little tight but ok.

I love Eloise’s Café. They always have the best coffee and a great variety of breakfast and lunch selections. I always get great service and the people are so nice. This place is a gem

Average diner-ish café on the jersey shore, that is very moderately priced. I ordered the breakfast combo. The made my french toast danish style, which was stuffed with apples and cinnamon. The bacon was good, but the scrambled eggs were way to dry. My friend ordered the quesadilla, which looked very good. I would avoid having the bam bam chicken special because no one at the table liked it at all. Other than that, the menu was pretty basic.

Even as a local, this place is awful. First of all, those facilities are disgusting. The man who presumably cooks the food can be seen using the bathroom frequently, but mysteriously you never hear the faucet running. I bought a pack of gum here and it was rock hard. The tables are never clean, and I actually was served a butter packet that was congealed. Secondly, the food is often either raw or majorly flawed. I ordered pancakes the last time I came, and they were completely raw. They appeared cooked on the outside, but once I sliced into them, I found that the insides were batter. The only food I really love here is the fries, but when I last got them, they were green. Third, the service here is absolutely dismal. The three women who work here are rude, disrespectful, and undeserving of tips. You can hear them gossiping about you as you eat, and they often don’t deliver the order until a good 30 minutes later. Even when you’re paying the check, they will look up at you standing patiently but not come over until their little gossip session has concluded. I usually only give a dollar as a tip, only because they badged you about the tip at no end. I will never come back here, and I will be spreading my woes to my friends. Maybe if they get their act together I’ll consider returning.

Well, I loved Eloise so much and it saddens me to have to write this review. But I have to warn. Although food is delicious and atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, but there are cockroaches. I think this is really unsanitary and when you see that bug outside in the dining area makes you wonder what goes on INSIDE the kitchen. So sad,

I like Eloise’s her story and her food. It’s not the nicest place, but who cares it’s homie. The food is a little expensive for what it’s worth but everything is around here. Eloise’s has a great staff always looking to help and make you happy. I prefer this place for lunch… the breakfast is also good but other options over power the place. Lunch beats the rest of the competition! It’s a simple menu that doesn’t wander off it’s path. Try this place and after wards walk off the food by going up the road to the inlet! It’s a nice walk!

Great local spot to get a great sandwich. Not many places around here have a really good sandwich made with Boars Head deli meat. Nice sized portions, very friendly staff and fast service as well. Try a club sandwich with fries, very tasty.

Pretty much a little hole in the wall that serves a decent breakfast. Not great mind you but passable. The kind of place known only by and frequented only by the locals living in and around Brielle. Drop by on your way to Point, just off Rt 35 before the bridge…

Best pancakes on the Jersey Shore! Thin, light, fluffy… absolutely delicious. Omlettes are huge and can be filled with whatever you want. Daily specials are usually spot on. I havent had lunch here yet, but you cant miss with breakfast!

I always go here for lunch at least once when I’m home from school. Their burgers are massive and the sweet potato fries that accompany it are also very tasty. They also make a mean turkey club which is equally massive. I have a huge appetite and I can barely finish it! This place is pretty no-frills but it compliments the food nicely.
