Anna is a great consultant and is skilled at what she does. I went to her with a specific problem and she was knowledgeable and easy to talk to from the start. I’m over 24 hours after the appointment and my muscles feel unbelievably better. She was also happy to give a full consultation regarding prevention and life techniques to take steps towards helping solve this persistent problem.
She is a real person, talks to you like you are a real person, and gives you the feeling that she really does enjoy helping solve muscular problems and making people’s lives better. Thanks, Anna! If I need another sports massage, I’ll certainly come back to Anna. Furthermore, she offers a student pricing plan that is so helpful on my budget!

Anna is a terrifically knowledgeable practitioner of her art. I have done various kinds of «massage therapy» through the years — but nothing as effective as Anna. I believe what she does would be called myofascial release. In any case, her goal is to free up the relative motion between muscles via deep tissue massage aimed at releasing the fascia adhesions. I confess to a certain degree of skepticism before seeing her — but the results were dramatic. Check out The Fuzz Speech by Dr Gill Hedley on YouTube for some background on the concept. For me, she dramatically improved my ROM and pain in my hip and knee.

If you have muscle pain, limited range of motion, Anna is the person to help you. I’m a procrastinator when it comes to taking care of myself. I knew a yr ago I needed help. It took a medical component to get me here. I’m on my way to being able to turn my head, bend it side to side! It all feels so much better! Take care of yrself, and let Anna help you.

The waiting area leaves some to be desired, as I was overhearing her and her previous client exchange somewhat salty stories — not the best atmosphere but I’m not the censorship police
However, what I really couldn’t get over is that when I checked the time before and after the 30-​minute appointment, it amounted to about 20 minutes of massage. Felt kinda crappy to be hustled out.
Uodate: after going to other massage places in town and reflecting on my experience, I’m downgrading Manna from 2 stars to 1. I don’t care how «good» she may be, I basically threw $ 50 down the drain going to see her

Anna is amazing. She really knows her stuff and you WILL feel better after a visit with her. I sent my mom — twice. Chronic psiatic (sp?) pain. She shares my enthusiasm. Highly Recommend!

Anna will heal you, or she’ll tell you why she can’t. Along with a deep therapeutic massage, she’ll offer great advice and clear information about what she’s doing. An A+ massage for those who are seeking alignment and release from pain.

Awful customer service. Appointments must be made via voice mail. I got an unintelligible voice mail and accepted what I believed to be a Thursday appointment. I called back to say I understood from what I could hear that this was for Thursday and asked for a callback if it was not.

Anna is not for those who want a candles, mood lighting, froufrou massage. Anna is for people who want a better understanding about their body, and relief from tension and pain.
Working both part and full time jobs, plus going to school part time, I often end up as a giant ball of stress and tension. One of the best reliefs for me is an appointment with Anna. Anna is excellent at deep tissue massage. After a session with her, I feel like a normal human being again.
She is very knowledgeable in the human body, its inner workings, and internal relationships. Anna spends time trying to get to know her clients so she can better understand our ailments. It is important to her to make a difference in her clients’ well being, and that comes through in effort she takes with each person.
If anyone ever asks me for a massage recommendation, there’s only one person I would send them to– Anna.

I saw Anna for a massage a few months ago and it was excellent. As many other reviewers have said, this is not a frilly or relaxing massage. However, if you carry a lot of tension or have pain then she is the one to see. You’ll leave not only feeling better, but with a toolbox of stretches and tricks.

She continues to take classes, read books, and learn different ways to heal the human body. She is very skilled in applying what she already knows and will give you tips, stretches, and exercises so that you can work on healing yourself as well. Her schedule is very flexible, and you can book an appointment via email, text, or phone. Her website is very informative.

Alright here it goes, I came to Anna after weeks of unbearable pain in my thighs. I wasn’t sure what I did, but was convinced my injury was from stress and working out incorrectly. In the past few weeks about half way through the day I would have to sit down or walk very uncomfortably, which is what led me to Anna. After thoroughly searching I decided from her positive reviews that she would be the best person for the job.
I went Saturday morning for my appointment. Her office is in Cleveland Circle, in a no thrills office space. Upon arriving, I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. After I explained «where it hurt» Anna got to business. The massage was strong and pin-​pointed exactly where the pain was.
One hour later I comfortably walked out of Anna’s office better than I had in the past few weeks. I waited for the pain to come back– it didn’t, I waited for bruises– they never appeared. I would say I’m about 90% better today than before I went, which for one, 1-​hour appointment is amazing.
I highly recommend Anna and will be back for any other pain or aliments.

If you want a great massage, go to Manna Massage. Not a lot of frills– just good kneading. It was the first time I was reminded of the great massages I had while living in Boulder Colorado. I left totally zoned and refreshed. Anna asks pertinent questions and listens to you and your body. I highly recommend.

Anna is awesome, professional, and an extremely effective therapist!
She has helped me recover from chronic lower back and hamstring issues that I’ve been dealing with for over a decade. Several years of competitive rowing and body building twisted my body and muscles into a pretzel like state. Anna has a unique ability to locate troubled spots and her ability to treat and correct them is amazing. I would recommend Anna to anyone!

Anna is a fantastic deep tissue massage therapist. Most importantly, her work is truly remedial. More important than just feeling relaxed while receiving the massage, I feel better and free of pain when I leave.
Her focus on fascia can be very intense. «Hurts so good» is the best way to describe her work. Still, she encourages communication about your needs and respects your pain threshold.
While some people have strong feelings about talking v. not talking during massage, Anna is interested in her clients and interesting herself. She is very adaptable… and it is easy to make small talk or big talk or no talk with her. If you have questions about physiological problems or more, even if they seem silly or obvious, she is a great wealth of information. Additionally, she will offer postures, tools, and exercises to help you to support yourself. This is not in a gimmicky way at all, but very helpful.
Even though I consider the practice of yoga a type of self-​massage, there are some aches, pains, crimps, and crinkles that can be impossible for one to work out on their own. Anna can get rid of some very serious cobwebs.
In scheduling appointments, she is prompt and very accommodating. Prices are reasonable; student discounts and street parking are plentiful. I’ve already told friends and family that they Knead to visit. And if they need more encouraging, I’d totally pitch some gift certificate designs to Manna Massage.

Anna is great!
There was a day when I had excruciating neck and back pain. After reading the positive reviews Anna received online, I figured she is trustworthy.
As you step into Anna’s office, the first thing she engages in is an «interview» of you, your daily habits, and really tries to trouble shoot the source of pain. This, I feel is a critical step as I think a lot of masseuse just have you sit/​lie down and does the work without really getting to the core of the problem. I think Anna tries to understand where the pain comes from so that she can help the pain from getting worst — or exist at all.
After Anna’s diagnoses, she works her magic. The pain was not there when I left her office! The reviews I read were accurate accounts. I was very happy with the result!

Anna’s therapeutic massages have helped me find and loosen the tensions I’ve been carrying for years in my body. The work has been challenging but rewarding. Even though the therapy can be intense, she has always been sensitive to my reactions. I feel safe, even when she’s digging into the injured places.
I’ve been seeing Anna for a few years and can say with admiration that she is continually learning and improving her knowledge and techniques. I am very pleased with the Structural Integrity course of treatment we began a few months ago. It’s an extended treatment program that has already paid off with greater range of motion and reduced pain. Highly recommended, if you’re serious about improving your relationship with your own body.

Honestly — if you are looking for a relaxing massage Manna Anna is not the person to go see.
YET — if you are looking for relief from, shin splints, achy joints and/​or want that knot or tenseness removed from shoulder muscles– Anna is the person to see.
Her massage therapy sessions are interactive — she wants to know where it hurts and where it doesn’t. Even if you are a stoic like I am — and can take a high threshold of pain — she will get you to talk!
And She reminds you to breath — which I tend to forget to do when she hits a «sensitive» muscle.
Anna is great in recommending stretches and exercises.
If I could afford the time and money — I would see Anna weekly!
