The food here was fresh, delicious and plentiful, but overpriced. The fajitas mix came out on a big sizzling skillet and looked like a mountain of meat, but it was soon discovered that the meat was just a thin top layer for the actual mountain of onions and green peppers. The meal came with a side dish flour tortillas(which were only enough to cover half the fajitas mix) and another plate of beans, rice, and other fixings. For dessert a order of sopapillas was had but it was mainly plain and flavorless with a few squirts of honey and a small dusting of cinnamon. Overall this place was OK, but but nothing to go out of your way for.

We have been looking for good queso dip and this place has it! If you want a good creamy queso with a hint of spice this is it. We’ve also had the flautas and tacos and both are delicious. Just don’t expect amazing service although everyone there is nice.

First time here, I tried the fish tacos they were awesome and their rice and beans have lots of flavor. My husband had the tamales and said they were very good. Only thing I would change, has to be their Ice Tea. It comes out of a machine like Brisk and I’m not a fan. A good brewed tea would have made great food even better

Usually I get their fajitas(steak,) which are pretty decent/good, but overpriced. Tonight, I got their chimichangas(chicken,) and oh my goodness — Heaven in my mouth! Their chips and salsa are pretty good too. Wasn’t a huge fan of their fajita burrito. Or maybe it was another kind of burrito? Got it awhile ago, it was so-so. I think it was supreme or something(smothered plus sour cream and guac.) Service is decent.

Went in to place a to go order. Ordered two flautas by themselves with green chili and cheeseburger with fries. Waited forever for water and she never brought chips and salsa that I wanted, for an up charge haha. Service was garbage and food was below par. Finally brought food out, no utensils or napkins. Mentioned bogo lunch deal and she disappeared for another 10 minutes when I’m in a rush to get back to work. Was finally charged for one lunch and 3 dollar up charge for green chili, when it states 1 dollar up charge but didn’t care because I was ready to go by now. Never got chips and salsa but thankfully wasn’t charged. I would never go back, find somewhere else to go. Definitely need to work on customer service with the waitresses and be clear about bogo deal and not sneak charges in to make up for bogo deal. That’s just ridiculous

When I saw that this place had a decent rating, we decided to try it. The food was okay but the service was HORRIBLE. There was only one waitress that was working. It looked like the manager was just standing around. We won’t be going back.

Holy cow… I wish you could give less than one star. I have never received worse service in my life. Came for Mother’s Day based on reviews and spent an hour and half waiting for our food. The food, by the way, was pretty darned good, which is too bad. Avoid the headache and go somewhere else. You’ll thank me.

Dinner was a success! Shortly after arriving we had a very unhappy 2 year old having a tantrum, but our server was quick to help by binging him toys, and taking the kids order right away. Needless to say they were happy after that. My friend had a delicious enchilada plate, and I had a sopes. I like to dig into everyone’s plates so i had a taste of everything and it was delicious! When I’m in the area, I’ll definitely stop in again!

Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. It took 20 minutes before we received our drink order. It took an hour to receive our food. The device was terrible. The food was ok.

Colorado lacks for good Mexican food and most of all spicy Mexican food. So when we saw that SPICY was in their name we had to go. The tacos and other items we ordered were tasty, but not spicy at all. When we asked for a spicier salsa they told us they only had one type of salsa and offered us hot sauce. Sorry but I don’t need Tapatio or Chalula for my food. I just wish Colorado would stop smothering everything in green chili sauce and start making good tasting spicy salsa.

So over the past year or so I have become quite fond of this place. I have since moved away from Brighton but drive back occasionally just for a meal here. I’m sad to report that today I visited and realized they have jacked their prices up. There are a few items that I frequently get and know exactly what they cost and so I was surprised to see the drastic change. Alambre Supreme was $ 11.99 now $ 13.99, 16.68% increase. Molcajete Mar y Tierra was $ 14.95 now $ 18.95, 26.75% increase. Their website listed above still has their old menu with their old prices or at least it does as of this writing. I’m really bummed, at these prices I won’t be back. RIP, yet another restaurant that will likely fail in this unit.

Trebol de Tostadas to start — tasty but the octopus was a little tough. Grande Combo typical but good. Pacifico & other Mexican beers only $ 3.50!!! Waitress Maria was taking care of the tables by herself while gaucho boy watched soccer on tv and did almost nothing to help. Thanks, Maria! Foo on you gaucho boy… Big space, great for groups, nice atmosphere & room to move.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Brighton. The green chili is delicious as well as the salsa. The tacos are very good as are the flautas. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes the traditional Mexican food in this area. Try one of the taco plates and the chili relleno and you will not regret it.

Visited here by recommendation; was disappointed with the food, service was good. I was immediately greeted and seated. Chips and salsa were the best part of the meal! Salsa was fresh with just the right amount of spice. I ordered steak nachos they came out shortly with no cheese. The waitress caught it and took back to the kitchen where the chef sprinkled a VERY small amount of shredded cheese and threw it in the microwave. I received my nachos back with a few dollops of hot, melted sour cream as well as 1 new dollop. As I dug in the cheese was unnoticeable and hot sour cream very prominent. The nachos were advertise to come with melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, steak, jalapeños, guacamole, and refried beans for $ 8.75. Mine had steak, a couple of diced tomato pieces, sour cream, jalapeños, and chips.(I asked for no beans) Will not be returning.

Back again, about a month later. This place serves probably the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten in a Restaurant. This time my granddaughter had the cheese enchilada child’s plate,(adult size). My wife had the Carnitas Estilo Michoacon, excellently seasoned and perfectly cooked tenderness. I had the Camarones Rellenos, 6 large shrimp, stuffed with a creamy, creamy white cheese, wrapped with bacon and deep fried, resting in a small pool of mild red chili, beans, rice and lettuce, tomato and sliced avocado garnish! Holy Moly that food is good!

Blows La Estralita out of the water. Great place to have dinner. Food is wonderful. Best chili relleno that I have ever had. The tacos were really really good. I was shocked. I really didn’t expect it to be that good and it was! We ended up ordering fried ice cream and it was also delicious!
