Calm Waters is by far the best coffee shop I’ve ever had the pleasure of being to. Not only is the coffee excellent, the food superb, but the owners are the sweetest couple you’ll ever meet. When you visit, it feels like you’re genuinely wanted and appreciated… because you are. I’m lucky enough that Calm Waters is within 15 minutes of my house but I would and have gone out of my way just to grab one of their vanilla lattes. If you haven’t stopped by yet, do yourself a huge favor and stop by. They didn’t win Best of Bucks for nothin’.

I never got around making a review, but my sister and I stopped by to do homework and grab coffee while we do our work. A bit tired of the normal Starbucks, we were surprised to find this relaxing café so close by. While we tried a few drinks during our visit, my personal fav would have to be the hot chocolate. To top off our visit the barista was awesome and so friendly! Oh, and before I forget, there’s also outlets available which is extremely convenient. :)

I had a latte at a table on the sidewalk out front with my dog. Since I didn’t go inside I can’t say much about that. The girl working was very kind to get my drink from outside. It was the middle if the afternoon in the middle of the week so there were only a few people. Had it been really busy I probably would have had to come back another time without my dog. Coffee was great, service fantastic, and had a nice time watching the people come and go down Mill Street.

Can’t say enough good things about the place! The owners are so friendly and personable, they always strike up a convo with you! Best Chai latte I have had to date and their grilled cheese is gooey cheesy deliciousness on crisp bread with fennel seeds!

Best cold brew I’ve ever had! The ambiance is lovely and a good coffee shop is nearly impossible to find in the burbs. It’s also awesome for kiddos — they have books, games, and toys to entertain them while you enjoy your coffee. Perhaps most importantly, the owners are incredibly nice people. I hope that the community supports the growth and success they deserve.(And no, I don’t know them personally. I just appreciate very good coffee + nice people.)

One of the best cappuccino I’ve ever had in the US. When I visited, there also happened to be live music playing — awesome traditional Irish music. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Definitely deserving of 5 stars

Grey cold of December; starlings huddling in the leafless trees. Behind a warm, solitary storefront window, ladies gaze elegantly into the dusk, their faces outlined by the steam of espressos and lattes. I don’t think we are in Wawa and DD coffee land anymore… Calm Waters Coffee Roasters reaffirms how to do something simple very well: changing a customer’s mood through coffee. Say hello, get a cup, dream a bit, get buzzed a bit, chat with the barista. Their baristas are friendly, know their coffees, and can recommend the best preparations. They are apt to tweak the grinder or pack the portafilter to get the right flavor, or offer to redo a shot if something is not quite right. Clearly, service that would never happen where a worker is just pushing the button on a coffee robot. Doing things simply means a modest selection of coffees: a good Guatemalan varietal used for their espresso drinks, a Historic Blend or an Ethiopian for pour-overs. That’s it. With that, they have hit a good blend of brilliance and acidity for their Guatemalan that fits almost perfectly in a cortado(do try this one) or cappuccino. All their coffees are available in whole bean at very reasonable prices considering the small size of their roasting facility. Calm Waters is still very new and is working to get all of the minor bugs out. It will probably be more than five stars soon. I hope to return during one of my commutes.

Truly worth the five stars. The place it’s charming and modern, super clean and amazing bathrooms lol. This guys are an excellent example of great service and how to maintain a impeccable business. The espresso was right on the money, dark, full body flavors with caramel and chocolate notes. The barista offered a shot of eggnog with every espresso as a holiday special :) both of the workers with great smiles, friendly, informative of their products and very good Baristas. They roast their own coffee and have an excellent price point. 8oz for 7 $most coffee roasters are between 12 and 18(I hope they don’t change this!) I have found the coffee gem in Bristol PA!

If you have been cruising Mill Street over the past few decades you know that it has had better days, but also that a few brave urban pioneers have jumped into the breech and begun new businesses that seem to be taking root. Calm Waters Coffee Roasters shows what dedication and imagination can do to turn around a main street in a struggling neighborhood. The room is well renovated to feel about 1969, with exposed brick walls, sanded and polished narrow slat wood floors, and a tin panel-looking ceiling, that may not be authentic, but sure adds to the great ambiance here. The coffee is roasted right in the middle of the house and served hot, fresh and new. Guatemala seems to be the source of the beans, and the owner’s TLC in producing a quality product is obvious. The taste of the java is bright and subtle, and a pleasure to drink. I will bring a bag home the next time I stop in before court. They call themselves ‘coffee roasters’ for a reason. That is what they are here to do. Yet, they know people want to sit and enjoy their Cuppa Joe, and the room is well suited for a quiet conversation at one of the deuce tables. Still, it is not yet a café as the offered accompaniments are not as good as the coffee at this point. There is no grill for breakfast or lunch plates. They provide instead a few pre-packaged bakery things like muffins, and a decent microwave oatmeal that they will heat and serve. There is a Panini press that toasts and stripes one at a time. How much better Calm Waters will be when they are able to install a short order kitchen for early breakfast, late brunch and midday lunch. Regardless of what the future holds, the present is impressive enough(in a quiet way) to warrant high praise. It has been too long since a Mill Street morning provided good reason to return.

WHEREHASTHISPLACEBEEN?! I lived in the Bristol area for a while but now I’m back in NY(represent!). All I wanted when I lived there was a coffee shop to go to in the 10 mile radius that was not a Starbucks. Nothing fancy, just a cool place to sit down and chill. Well, whatever expectations I had back then were BLOWNOUTOFTHEWATER. What an awesome place. First of all, I’m a coffee snob. I love my coffee black when it’s made the way it’s supposed to be made. And these guys nailed it! Great pour over. The coffee is very well priced including bags roasted barely a week ago. Great selection on the menu. Amazing. Staff is great to talk to and have a pretty cool vision of what they want this place to be for the community. We need more coffee shops like this. But more than that, we need more PEOPLE like this. Great coffee. Cool place to hangout. And I wish I lived closer. Drink coffee, live forever.

Butter Brew! Need I say more. Coffee with butter from grass feed cows. It’s rich and creamy and delicious. The staff and owner are super friendly. The only drawback is I can’t get this in Dallas. Go get your coffee fix.

If you love coffee, GOHERE. They have the best coffee in area and their little shop is very comfortable. The staff are A+, super polite and professional and the couple who owns the shop are wonderful human beings. Their cold brew is delicious, as are their selection of cakes. Right now they only have one panini on the menu, which is tasty, but I see them expanding upon it soon.

I stopped in this place this morning, to get breakfast, it has a lot of potential, to be one of the best little coffee shops in the Bristol Borough area! Or that matter any were! That being said as a new and up coming coffee shop. Alot needs to be added. Like more table and seats on the inside and outside. More coffee flavors to choose when getting a cup of coffee. More food to choose from when getting Breakfast. I had the tomato, basil and mozzarella, panini, And was by far one of the best I’ve had in along time. And for the coffee. Perfect cup with some cream and sugar added. The staff is nice. And so is the atmosphere inside. This is a cool place to meet up with a freind and just get a cup of coffee and chat. Iced coffee looked good. Need to give that a try. Look forward to returning in the near future!!!

This is exactly the place Bristol needed! Beautiful space, friendly staff, good vibes, and arguably the most important– fantastic coffee! Good selection of gluten free baked goods as well! They have homemade chocolate and vanilla syrups for those wanting some extra flavor which really wowed me. They also have a good selection of caffeine free and kid friendly drinks!

Made a visit to this little shop yesterday and it was worth it. Always nice to find a place other than a Starbucks to have some great coffee. Had a few iced drinks, which were great. Also had a fresh mozzarella, tomato panini with a basil pesto. Perfect little snack to share. I did purchase a bag of the Guatemala whole roasted beans and had some first thing this morning. Delicious! Overall friendly service and great tasting coffee.
