Been coming here for years, foods consistent and tasty. Clean and inviting environment, the waitress Kayla was great. Coffee cup will never be empty!

Horrible service but at least the food was good. Will never go back because of the service. Waited 30 minutes, 2 other families came in, ordered, ate and left before we got our food. Waitress argued on how long we were there and said it was because we ordered well done bacon and home fries. Only checked on us 2 times. Left all of our dirty dishes on our table while our son finished eating. She is lucky we even gave the tip we did.

Was visiting Bristol to visit a friend and happened to stumble upon Crystals. The food was phenomenal for a diner and the service was super friendly. I had the eggs Benedict and my friend had the Spanish omelet, would recommend both. Décor is slightly outdated however it’s a diner, what more do you want. We met the owner Selma and she was a gem. Great to see small businesses with the owners still working and caring about their customers. Would come back again and will. Also recommend highly.

Great food great staff. Go to local diner for breakfast or lunch. Family loves their omelettes. I love their burgers. Great local diner and decent prices. Family run business who remember their loyal customers

I went here on a Sunday morning with a few of my friends. The waitress, who was in her mid 20s, wasn’t really paying attention to our orders. She wasn’t rude, but she seemed a bit rushed and you could tell she didn’t want to work at this place. I asked my friend, and he said that as long as he could remember, the waitress’s demeanor was always the same. I couldn’t tell if that was a good or bad thing. I ordered the sausage omelette and it came with toast and home fries. The toast was just«toast», nothing special about bread. As for the home fries, I was not too impressed with it because it seemed«goopy», it didn’t keep it’s structure well. As for the omelette, it was just okay. The cheese didn’t appear melted all the way, and the sausage was playing hide and seek in my omelette. The older waitress, a lady in her late 40s, was really nice. She always topped off our coffees and felt like someone you wanted to talk to. Super nice lady.

Never again! No heat. Practically empty but service was awful. Waitress asked the one other table if they wanted a coffee refill but not us. Food was just ok.

On my trip to Connecticut, my friend Lurch & I were searching for somewhere to grub. We found Crystal Diner & away we went. 3 words. Ultimate Hamburger Mix($ 7.95). French fries, hamburger cheese, & gravy. Our waitress(who was quite friendly) said it’s a «heart attack on a plate.» Well, I’m still breathing, but I’m quite full & satisfied. Will definitely try to swing in there on a Friday for the Tuna Melt Special.

This place was packed when we walked in, and I have no idea why… The service was abrupt. Not rude, but not friendly. The French toast was excellent, but the rest of the food was just ok. My boyfriend’s meal(inexplicably named«the window special») came all piled onto a plate that was far too small(see photo). The pancakes were on the bottom, with eggs and sausage on top. The stacking made no sense, and his meal was difficult to eat. The orange juice was AWFUL. It tasted like citrus(though we weren’t convinced the citrus was orange), and had an unpleasant aftertaste. We felt rushed, when the check was literally slapped onto the table within 2 minutes after we received our food. Pricing was comparable to similar breakfast places. The décor is in need of an update. And the music was loud and distracting. With so many other good breakfast places in Bristol, I would suggest skipping the Crystal Diner.
