Sakura Japanese Express

This joint doesn’t look like much, but the food is delicious. There are a few other places that use a hibachi grill in Bristol, but I think this one is by far the best. Plus, the prices here are significantly cheaper than other options. The food is always so good, and I highly recommend their carrots. You won’t be disappointed.

Was a little worried at first because the way it looked, but the food is very good. You get an enormous amount for a good price!

I love their food. You can choose add any vegetable to the meals or subtract any vegetable it comes with. The price is very reasonable. I ate here at least once a week!

I have eaten at some high end sushi restaurants. This restaurant does a good job for the price. If your looking for fast and reasonable price. It’s great.

Great job Unilocalers! This little joint has a drive thru! Awesome little express for great hibachi food. I had the steak & scallops and the scallops were really delicious. Great little char on them and the steak was tender it almost melted in my mouth. Oh and by the way there was plenty of food served up WITH an egg roll. Nice plus Sakura, nice. Hope this helps others looking for a great Hibachi fix! All I can say is enjoy!

The price is very reasonable portions are generous the sushi for the price better than average, good parking the drive thru what i use most the time is a huge bonus so when it comes to take out on a budget this is one of 1 of my few go to choices

I have never been impressed with Sakura. The food is okay but nothing to brag about. The great thing about them is the price and the quickness. The shrimp sauce is terrible. I normally pick my food up here and buy shrimp sauce from another place in town. Great place if you are looking for something cheap and fast!

When you’re in the mood for some good Japanese on the go Sakura is the place. SJE is one of those joints that happen to offer good food, great portions and on the cheap side. My favorite is the Orange chicken, slightly sweet and crunchy on the outside and little moist bites of chicken on the inside. Served with fried rice, sweet carrots and of course the shrimp sauce.(Can’t figure out why I love that stuff so much).The spring rolls are another fav, light and crunchy and full of tasty veggies.
Can’t really comment on the inside dinning experience, always do drive-thru.SJE is located on what the locals call «hamburger lane» in an old Wendy’s building. Not much to look at really but not a big factor for me. Seems the drive-​thru is popular and long lines at times. But worth the wait. When I can eat for $ 7 and have enough for another meal tomorrow, it’s a win win situation for me.
