As an avid thrifter, I really hate to let these secrets out. Everyone who thrifts knows that it is 50⁄50 whether his or her treasure will be found by another first! Heaven forbid.
Anyway, just made my 2nd trip 30 minutes to purchase a pair of full-​length insulated curtains for $ 1.50! No, that is not a typo. They also have brand name sweaters and tops for $ 4 … the same ones that other second hand stores charge an arm and a leg for, which makes Stone Soup worth the trip. Mens’ clothing, home décor, dishes … I had to get out before I spent too much money!
Really lovely and helpful staff. Student discount. Also, tons of children’s clothing if you have kids.

one of my favorite thrift stores. has very nice selections of jewelry, housewares, shoes, clothes, bags, and books.
they sometimes do a sweet special where you can FILL A HUGE TRASHBAG for twenty bucks. which is a ridiculous deal.
the ladies and gents who staff this place are all sweethearts and love to chat with you and help you out.
i seriously have a special place in my heart for this thrift shop. they do a lot of good here, between the store and the food pantry.
