Zelia’s Diner

It always funny when you ask a question and you get lied to. I came here for lunch, my first time and last. I order a bacon cheeseburger cooked medium, i was told they are all cooked the same. Very strange, so I ask if they are frozen or homemade, I get let me ask the cook. Are you kidding me you dont know this! She comes back and says its homemade everyday. Well it was a frozen burger cooked down to nothing. Thats it bad food bad service!!!

We always liked Zelia’s but it was out of business the other day.

We happened to be in Bristol and saw this hidden gem tucked away in a shopping plaza. We are big fans of diners so this place was right up our alley! Clean, old style décor lines the walls with classic diner booths. The menu is a mixture of traditional American and Portuguese breakfast and lunch items. We ordered the french toast, eggs (scrambled and over medium), hash browns, corned beef hash, and toast. All flavored well and cooked perfectly. The only thing I did not like was the coffee, a little bitter for my taste. The service is friendly and quick! Highly recommend this diner.

I’m such a sucker when it comes to little local diners like this that serve breakfast until 2 in the afternoon! Zelia’s offers the little diner experience. Locally owned and operated the wait staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. With tables, booths and seats at the counter this is the classic little diner set up.
My wife and I usually go here when we are craving a good breakfast at very reasonable prices. I usually get the Jen’s special which consists of 2 texas style french toast, 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and 2 sausages. Bottomless coffee and the portions are generous. The do not accept credit/​debit cards so it’s cash only. But this is one of my favorite places to get breakfast in the Bristol area. If you’re in or near Bristol and craving a good breakfast give Zelia’s a visit. Very affordable, very good food, friendly staff. what’s better than that!!!
