I had read about the drink Aviation and wanted to mix one. For the drink I needed Cream de Violet and Marichino liquor. This store not only didn’t have either of these things but they didn’t even know what I was talking about. They kept trying to tell me I meant Cream de Minth or Cream de Cocoa. Finally one of the looked up the drink, Aviation, and then they said «Oh!».
Interestingly enough they said that none of the ABC stores would have either of the ingredients and further that bars in VA only had liquor carried by the ABC stores so that NO bar in VA would be able to fix me an Aviation.

Bristow, VA

Typical ABC Store but the employees are always very helpful & polite. Great selections & this ABC store is located in a nice cozy shopping center. I notice that they have small sales now & then. I personally like Pinnacle vodka & they have a huge selection of flavors & the prices are resonable.

Haymarket, VA

Another Virginia ABC Store. A bit smaller than some of the others I’ve visited.
They had one of the two items I was looking for: A bottle of Captain Morgan’s spiced rum — BUT they did not carry the 18 year old Laphroaig single malt scotch.
Guess I’ll have to re-visit the Haymarket ABC location to pick up that selection!
