I have to say this must be a great place to work if you want to stand and do nothing. Saturday early afternoon, very few customers. At least two other people and I looking for items. No help from staff.

This store is always clean and well stocked. The staff have always been helpful and provide good recommendations. Even if they have never tried the product they can tell you whether it is a good seller or not or if other patrons have talked about it.

Virginia is a funny state… everywhere else sells booze in the grocery stores, but NOOOOO, Virginia law says we have to buy our liquor at certain times of the day… and pay astronomical prices to boot.
That being said, this is the closest ABC store to my condo… I frequent it often. It’s very well organized, bright, clean and not sketchy at all… ahem… Maryland!!!
I always find what I am looking for and during the holidays they have some awesome gift sets that usually include some sort of glassware or clothing.
Pretty basic place… serves me well.

ABC… can you say monopoly.
Yeah, yeah, I understand why selling this stuff must be controlled but at the same time… what about free market pricing?
You can go abroad and see the difference in prices and your jaw drops.
I had to go here to get some spirits for a ‘stock the bar’ wedding thing.
They had the selection no doubt but the prices are painful.
The 18^th amendment ruined everything… how did our parents, parents let that happen? The 21^st restored order to the chaos but it also goes to show that taxing the heck out of something is the American way.

Scammers got a hold of my debit card number and they managed to charge more than $ 45 at this store. They didn’t have my actual card (I live in California), so somehow they must have convinced the cashier to just type in a number, which a cashier shouldn’t do.
They should make sure they follow common sense guidelines like requiring an actual card for transactions.
