Walgreens

This place is well managed. Everytime I go in, they greet you. Very nice employees, clean, and it’s warm and welcoming. Good job staff.

Overpriced and yet convienient as always. I’m always amazed at the collection of random things they have in stock that I just happen to need at 11 o’clock at night.

I have a love/​hate relationship with this location. I love the pharmacy staff and the makeup lady, but I freaking despise most of the teenage cashiers. All but one act like they were never trained to deal with customers. I’ve been ignored, talked over (either by them talking to another staff member the entire time or chatting on the phone with their friends), not greeted or even had eye contact made, and that’s not even the worst encounter.
I don’t know if they still work there but a few months ago there was a teen girl cashier checking customers out at the front register. For some reason, she had a teen boy pretty much glued to her side. (He wasn’t training her or anything like that.). Neither of them greeted me, she just kept giggling at something he was whispering. Halfway through watching this extremely annoying mating ritual, I caught something that the guy was whispering. He was making fun of me! I couldn’t believe it! I was livid and asked for a manager. The giggling stopped and the boy dipped. The girl kept giving me a line that there was no manager there. Finally I got so frustrated that I just left.
Now the pharmacy department is a completely different story. I get great, quick service every time. One of the pharmacy tech’s, Josh, is just awesome. Always asks how I am, remembers my name, and makes sure I leave with a smile. I go to that location just because the pharmacy staff is so great!
The other good part of the store is the make-​up section ladies! They are always sweet, polite, and VERY helpful. I really wish I could give them 5 stars, hopefully some of the cashiers will learn what customer service means.

This Walgreens is fairly new. It’s kind of odd that it’s located all by itself at the corner of Devlin Road and Linton Hall Road. Usually you see locations like this set up with some other small businesses. There does appear to be room next to the Walgreens for some expansion of this little retail area.
Your typical Walgreens: clean, well organized, well lit, and well stocked!
