We live near by and have called for delivery several times. All I can say is that we fully enjoy the food. From egg rolls, soups, and entrees(we have had many) it is consistently really good. Also it’s wonderful having a quick delivery service. Drivers are very nice. So glad the opened!

Tried this for lunch, found the food quality above average, portion size below average, and the service was okay

I’m from Jersey so I’m always looking for excellent Chinese food! What a surprise… nothing was too oily and the food actually had flavor!

By far the best Asian food in the area. We routinely order Thai from Benjins and the Basile Fried Rice, Green Curry Chicken, and Mango Shrimp are fantastic! Good portions and they use fresh veggies, which makes them stand out. Also, their customer service is top notch-I used the online app to order and thought I had applied a coupon for a free Chicken Pad Thai, so when it was not delivered with my order I called to let them know. They took the time to explain how to apply the coupons and then delivered a Pad Thai to me shortly after we hung up. Thanks Benjins!

I have been dealing with a lot of mediocre and forgetful Asian restaurants in the past so my expectations were pretty low for Benjins. Their menu is nice and descriptive and their prices are on par with the other Asian restaurants in the area. A bonus for me is that they deliver. I was beyond amazed with the taste and quality of the food. They have sushi which(I feel) is fresh and of good quality. They have THEBEST shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had in my life!!! I love their varieties of sushi rolls-Rock n Roll, Rainbow Roll, Dragon Rolls are a few of my favs. They also are open to making adjustments to the menu to accommodate allergies and they don’t use MSG which is awesome for those with gluten allergies.

I really have to stop in and downgrade my review of Benjin’s and I’m sad to do it. The other night we had delivery that I ordered online through their system. About 20 minutes after placing the order, they called to tell me they were out of Orange Beef? I don’t necessarily know how you can be out of a dish like that… maybe the orange part? But they asked me to pick something else. I picked Mongolian Beef and they were okay with that– so apparently they weren’t out of beef?! It took over an hour for our delivery to get to our house and it was all barely lukewarm when we got it. It was on the verge of being cold, honestly. It was much better the next day when we heated it up for leftovers and ate it hot… But the fried things get dried out when reheated, as usual. Their thai food isn’t fantastic, we tried the Pad Sew Ew last night instead of Pad Thai and it was very dry and not yummy. I won’t order that again. I hate to drop it down to 3 stars, but per Unilocal’s ratings, I don’t believe Benjin’s is 5 star worthy anymore. It’s definitely still A-Ok, though!

This place gave myself and another person food poisoning. Unfortunately, I got the worst of it.

Last night my wife and I ordered Benjin’s for the second time in 2 weeks, and we were thoroughly impressed. The first time we ordered orange chicken, yaki udon noodles, spring rolls, and wonton soup. The spring rolls had a thin and very crunchy exterior and were excellent. The sauce on the orange chicken actually had fresh orange zest and was not too thick and syrupy like most low-budget Chinese food take-out spots. The udon noodles were great as well. Last night, I ordered Mongolian beef. Although there were just a touch more onions than I’d like to see, overall the dish was excellent. The beef was sliced thin and was extremely tender. My wife ordered Pad Thai, which was fantastic as well. After having tried all of the Chinese food locations in the gainesville/bristow area, we feel that this one is the best. The food is on par with Asian Garden, *however Asian Garden does not deliver*, therefore we both agree that Benjin’s is earns top honors for best Chinese food delivery in the immediate area.

It was delicious! We got the Bento Lunch Box and the Genreal Tso’s lunch. They were both amazing. The Bento Box came with a California Roll, but they let us substitute a Spicy Tuna Roll the box comes with your choice of meat, soup or salad, steamed rice, the sushi roll and 2 shrimp dumplings(surprisingly delicious-I was not fond of the sound of it at first, but the taste was soooo good, glad I tried them!!) it’s a great space, great service, DELICIOUS food! What a great new addition to the Linton Hall area. Food is great, not overly greasy like some places. Sauces were just that, great sauces! — not the heavy syrupy molasses type sauces you usually get. They tasted and looked fresh. Not like they had sat in a steam table for hours. We will definitely be back!

This place has horrible food! Ordered spicy drunken chicken noodle dish and it was a bland and inedible mess! No flavor or presentation whatsoever. We get chicken drunken noodle from real Thai restaurants and never have I seen quality so terrible!

Disappointed by all the positive reviews. Ordered on a Friday night at 6:00pm. We were told 40 – 60 minutes for delivery, so bc it was a Friday night, we fully expected it would take closer to 60 minutes. After calling the restaurant at 7:20 our food finally arrived at 7:30. We felt bad for the driver bc clearly it wasn’t his fault they clearly couldn’t handle the volume. I thought, no worries because if the food is good enough the wait will be worth it! Nope, was disappointed. My boyfriend got the combination fried rice and I got the chicken pad Thai. Both were severely lacking in protein. I really don’t think mine had chicken in it. There were a few blobs of what could have been chicken? See photo.

I ordered a California roll and they sent me some gross wrap thing that didn’t even look like sushi and when I tried to get what I ordered they would not give me what I ordered.

Good food. Prices a little higher than other local spots based on menu and portions. Egg drop soup, agreed at our table, best ever. Hot, fresh, not too heavy. They need to understand that white pepper is a necessary accessory with egg drop soup and have it at the table tho. Sushi and rolls fresh, good tasting. I prefer more sesame seeds in the wrap for spicy tuna, but good none the less. Rainbow roll was good but the paper thin fish was a bit disappointing in its paper resemblance. The pepper tuna sushi appetizer was ok but like the rainbow roll, the fish was paper thin, much thinner than the picture in the menu. The white tuna sushi was great. Small but very good. Eel sushi was good but again a little smaller than expected. Waiter was friendly, courteous, and memorized the orders perfectly. When ordering sushi, remind them to bring some personal plates if they bring s big sushi plate out. ;-) No wifi. Overall will be going back. Very convenient to home, nice cozy spot. Will be exploring the«Asian»(Chinese /Cantonese menu items next time)

Food has been really good here so far. Trying take out this time to see how they do with that. Dine in was very good. Sushi was fresh and tasty. May change rating to five star if take out is packed well and not missing any items.

All the way around this was a really good experience. I had a serious hankering for sushi and it absolutely hit the spot. The have a good kid’s menu too. We got a really good quantity of kid’s Lo mein and a drink for $ 6.50. My waiter wasn’t really familiar with the descriptions of the sushi rolls but the owner is also the sushi chef, and he was very friendly. The depth of how friendly the owner and staff was shown when my kid, who had too many treats over the July 4th holiday weekend, started to complain of a tummy ache and, to my horror, got sick on the floor. Thank goodness the restaurant only had one other couple there eating pretty far away from us. The staff quickly sprang into action, cleaned and disinfected the mess, asked if he was ok and calmed my utter embarrassment. That could’ve been a total disaster but they were very kind about it. The facility is very nice and they tout fresh ingredients with no msg. They won me over.

Went last night for the second time. The first time I went it was just my kiddo and I for lunch. I had sushi and she had a bowl of wonton soup. My kiddo LOVED the soup and can sometimes be picky about it. I ordered 2 rolls and loved them both. I eat a lot of sushi and this was some good stuff. Last night I went back with my husband and kiddo. Ordered a special roll to start, I forget the name but it has spicy salmon and avocado on top. The spicy sauce on top made it amazing. This is FOR sure our new sushi place. Kiddo had the soup again which was a hit. For our entrees I had chicken pad thai and hubby had sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Entrees took a while but it was obvious when they came out how fresh everything was so the wait makes it totally worth it. The only issue is my plate was brought out 5 – 8 minutes before my husbands. The polite thing to do would be to wait for his dish to arrive for myself to eat, but I didn’t. Ha! They need to teach their staff to bring out all plates at the same time. The pad thai was awesome. No complaints. My husband liked his sweet and sour chicken. BUT, and this is what makes us sad. The fried rice sucked. No flavor at all. It was like colored white rice. No seasoning, no vegetables, no egg equals no flavor. I’m bummed because I want to be able to order delivery from here for basic Chinese food but if the rice sucks and that’s what Im in the mood for I will have to go elsewhere. But for thai and sushi, this is the place! Overall, sushi rocks. Thai is great. Chinese fried rice needs some help. Hoping this place stays in business. 2 times there and both times I was the only table. Great food, I cant see why its not packed at peak times, although their to-go service seemed to be busy.

So far I’ve only got to try the sushi & I love it! Very fresh fish. You can also order online for delivery & take-out. It is easy to order online at . There is a mileage limit though so they actually aren’t able to deliver to my house in Bristow. I don’t mind because it’s not that far for me. The restaurant is new & the inside is clean & modern. Everyone is friendly here. Lots of options to choose from. A note to the owner though: I noticed your responses to your negative reviews. Try not to lash out on them too much. Yes, you’re going to get some bad reviews but so far your good ones are outweighing the bad ones. You won’t be able to please everyone. Everyone will have their opinion about your bistro & that’s ok. Just remember that you have a business that has great potential. Try not to show your customers a bad side to yourself because it might turn us away. I love your bistro & will continue to be a loyal customer if you just make sure your food quality is the best, your friendly service is consistent, & you appreciate your customers. That’s it, simple right? You can do it! :)

As a new place, I think there’s always room for improvement so I won’t give 5 stars. But, this is a very decent spot amidst other mediocre copycat chains in the area. This place is quite small but simplistic. We were the first people here for dinner, and everything came out quickly and correctly. The tuna roll was a little on the small side, but the fish was fresh and tasted great. The general tso chicken was NOT a big breaded mess so major points go to the full nuggets of white meat which was a pleasant surprise. Also a surprise were the shrimp in the triple delight. Large and cooked well, clearly fresh and I was a happy camper. I regret that the chicken and beef wasn’t a smidge meatier and less fatty pieces, but this place still contends with all other places in the area hands down. Great brown sauce! I will say I felt bad for the waitress so I’m adding this in case this person Unilocal: there was a couple seated behind me who made some fairly annoying comments. She kept bugging the waitress to compare several items for her to tell her which one was healthiest. She kept getting valley-girl frustrated: «no, like, I don’t mean your favorite, I mean which one is best health wise.» Heads up: your waiter is not a nutritionist and calculating your calories is not their job, and its not going to end the way you want it to any time you ask that question. Leave the poor girl alone! I’ll definitely come back to try other menu items for sure. Thumbs up from me.

My family and I were feeling pretty lazy and we decided to try this new Asian place. I have to say: Benjin is a genius! I had the Mongolian Beef and my family shared Orange Chicken and Lo Mein. My beef was just amazing, perfect flavor. I tried the orange chicken and it had the best orange sauce I had ever tasted. We ordered delivery and it came in a reasonable amount of time at about 45 minutes. I totally recommend this place it has good prices and the food is perfection. I can’t wait to go in and taste the sushi! Keep it up guys!

I tried the aged tofu and other sushi products. Have to say, they have no idea what they are doing. I think I can make better sushi than they do. Trick is in the rice but they mess it up. Very disappointed, not coming again. PS: it seems the owner thinks I am from some Hunan garden who tries to trash their business. I hope this kind thought does not last long. If the owner is reading this, let me tell you one thing about your rice in sushi. Did you put white vinegar and salt in your sushi rice during the cooking process? If no, please stop thinking your customer is wrong and change your cooking method.
