Love their Mu shu Pork! I have eaten here so many times with friends so they like General Two’s and Triple Delight. Great environment and fun for us to go here.

When this restaurant first opened, it was a reliably good choice. Not great, but good. The quality had slowly declined to where we did not eat there any more. A friend told us they had tried them again, and that they had a new chef. They gave glowing reviews so we decided to give them a try. We ordered chicken wings, fried dumplings, and Szechuan beef proper. The wings were very good, crisp and meaty. The dumplings had a tasty filling, but were doughy and one had no filling whatever. The sauce was a bit bland and did not taste fresh. The entrée, which is traditionally prepared so it is crisp with a slightly chewy texture was swimming in sauce, gummy, and very sweet. It was also not prepared to the requested level of spiciness. All in all, a disappointing meal. We will not be dining there again.

This used to be my favorite Chinese place. But I need to find a new one. Their food has gone downhill, and they are CONSTANTLY screwing up the orders. Tonight was the last straw for me. I ordered shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice. They deliver two orders of shrimp fried rice. I call and I’m told they will send driver immediately with my chicken fried rice. I live literally 2 minutes from there. I called after twenty minutes and I’m told the driver is on the way. Mind you, my son is now eating his food rather than letting it get cold. I hang up, and now wait another twenty minutes, still no food, call again and again I’m told he’s on the way. This time he was, and shows up. They tell me to keep the other shrimp fried rice, well of course I’m keeping it, but that’s not the point, I rant MY food! Now my food is finally here and not only do I get to sit and eat it alone, but guess what? It’s not even hot! It’s Luke warm and doesn’t taste very good either! So I call again and tell them they have now just lost a very good customer. And all they say is, I’m sorry. Well, I’m sorry too. I’ve given you one chance too many Taste of Asian.

Bad experience. They gave me the, wrong take out. Didn’t check till I got home. Gave me hot and sour soup rather than egg drop. Spring rolls, we’re undercooked and small. Only had a bite and ½ tsp of soup to see if I could eat it. Veggie spring rolls and that soup gave me severe diarrhea. Took it back next day for my money back. They said no but I said I was sick. They said it wasn’t their food. After talking in their native language I got half my money. Bad food, bad customer service, rude. No stars.

This was my go to spot for the longest but the quality has declined slightly as of late. Hit or miss with both sushi and Chinese dishes the last few times. Nice family owned spot. Very friendly.

I go to this place often for carry out because its around the corner from where I work out. My first impression was the décor was good, so the food must be good – right? The first Red Flag are signs posted by the manager that say, «Do not argue» and«Prices can change without notice». Seems every order I made has something missing or its poorly prepared. This time I order Shrimp fried rice, Thai Drunk Noodles(the Special), egg rolls and Scallops in Garlic Sauce. When I got home, the rice tasted like it was from the lunch bar – it was dry, stale, and hard. The Drunk noodles were hard and stuck together by the clamps, the egg rolls were below average, and the Scallops were so tiny I could not distinguish them from the thinly sliced water chestnuts. I call to complain. A woman answers. I tell her about the Scallops, I paid $ 9.50 for scallops and I can’t even see them. She puts the manager on. I tell him there aren’t many scallops in the dish. He IMMEDIATELY gets argumentative and defense(remember the sign that says no arguing? Now I get it!!). He yells at me that there are 10 scallops in the dish. I tell him he can’t see the dish; but its in front of me and I can’t see more than 3 – 4 tiny scallops with a ton of green beans and sauce($ 9.50 for green beans and sauce). The dish had more green beans than anything else. I sense he is calling me a lair. I said, look you are in the customer service business, rather than arguing with me why don’t you just say, «sorry, we will get it right next time you come in»? He claims the dish is made individually, which makes me think its pre-packaged and microwaved. All I wanted was for him to do the right thing. This place is NEVER busy – I have been there at least 6 time and have never seen more than 2 sit down customer in the place. The food is NOT good, the customer service is nonchalant and uninviting. Its almost as if they want your order and they want you to get out and remember do not argue even if we change the prices without notice!

Not from the area but was seeking Chinese food. This restaurant is in a quasi-strip mall, but once you’re inside the ambiance and décor takes you away from suburbia. The restaurant was pretty empty on a Saturday night – generally a bad sign. It was very clean, almost too clean. There were hand sanitizer bottles on every table – kind of gross. On to the food. We had a group of 6 and ordered a number of dishes(see pictures). The general tso was tasty with the rich amount of sweetness. The pan-fried dumplings were smaller than typical restaurants so there wasnt as much filling which hurt the flavor. The beef and chicken dishes were tasty and american authentic. All in all, it wasn’t a bad Chinese restaurant. The dishes averaged around $ 10-$ 14, pretty fair.

Instant disappointment. I had s serious sushi craving and looked up what was near me. I headed in with dreams of spicy tuna rolls filling my head. I was seated and given water. I asked for the sushi menu and that’s when she shattered my dreams. The sushi chef was on vacation… For two weeks! Maybe sushi isn’t a main attraction for them because I’d think they’d look for a back up for that length of time. I tried to manage my expectations and look at the menu but it was all the standard Chinese takeout type food and the prices looked higher than I’d normally pay. The décor and ambiance was really nice. But I had to stay true to my desires and«roll» out.

It’s been a while since I wrote my first review on this place and I thought I’d update it. Having been to several other Chinese places since I moved to KY, I still find myself craving Taste of Asian. It really is some of the best Chinese I’ve had anywhere. Cashew Chicken is still my favorite. Don’t be scared away when walking in — they are often not that full for dine-in, but they do a ton of carryout business. Wish I could get this more often!

I was here from out of town, visiting family. They raved about this place. Pretty good stuff. The waitress was amazing. Huge amounts of food and everything we had was quite tasty.

Im done with this place! ordered soup and spring rolls to go but had no cash and the min for credit card is $ 10 so I added steamed plain broccoli small thinking that would add $ 5 more but it added $ 9.50 more. I get home with my expensive bowl of broccoli to find that it was more yellow in color than green. And the spring rolls were dry and small… with no spring left in them… what a waste of time and money! I took it back to them but they refused to refund me. I will never eat there again because there was no customer service and 2 ladies tried to explain how steamed broccoli turns yellow naturally. PS it was empty when I ordered at 9pm and it was empty when I returned the yellow broccoli at 12:30 pm the next day.

We ordered three different chicken dishes and they looked and tasted the same. Mine was sesame chicken and the only thing they did different to mine was add sesame seeds. The chicken was all made in the same sauce and tasted days old. The rice is fried rice, not fresh warm white rice. Everything fried and blah. Really a very bad meal. Nice waitress

When I lived in Gainesville, this was the place I ordered Chinese and sushi from. They were brand new, and the food was great, and they delivered sushi! It was my dream place! The food is rarely wrong, and if it is, they fix it. They remember you if you call often enough, and are prompt. I regret that I cant order from there anymore(I moved too far away) but I would totally order from there now if it were possible. I stop in when I can! This is one of only 2 or 3 places anywhere in that area that I will eat in, the other being Asian Garden and Pei Wei.

Decided to try this place since it was close to me. I ordered the fried rice to go and was extremely disappointed as the fried rice was literally rice and a few pieces of bland chicken… There was no other ingredients! I mean literally it felt as if I was just eating rice and I had to throw it away. I have to agree with the other negative reviews on this one.

The best Chinese restaurant in town IMO! We’ve been coming to this restaurant for 6+ years now and they never disappoint! The taste is always consistent and they give you almost overflowing amount of food! Love their décor as well!

Thankfully this place wasn’t as bad as some folks rated it. The interior of the restaurant was fine and the service was fine too. We tried two dishes here. The chow fun noodles were greasy. I would not get them again. The roast pork with Spring onion was very tasty. I would get that again. So my guess is the quality is hit or miss here. The prices are pretty typically of Asian restaurants in the region. The only thing that was annoying was having to listen to the televisions in the bar even though we were in the dining area.

Disgusting place. Do not go here PERIOD, please read #2 if you don’t read anything else. I called in a takeout order, a very basic order, pan fried dumplings and beef lo mein, and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. Here are the top three reasons for their 1 star rating: 1. I arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes later and it wasn’t ready yet. After waiting for another 20 minutes my food finally came out. 10 minutes isn’t just slightly inaccurate, that is outrageously inaccurate and unacceptable for such a small order and given that they had NO business, either dine in or carry out that night. There was no one in the restaurant. 2. While waiting such a long time for my food, no drink was even offered, but it also allowed me to inspect behind the bar area. Inside of the fridge, below the liquor, there were two containers of milk that were past their expiration date. SEETHEPICTURES I UPLOADED One container was a WEEK past its expiration date. When I told the unfriendly lady, she just said okay. She didn’t look surprised, or say that she was sorry. I asked her if she was going to throw it away, she just did a small chuckle and walked back into the kitchen. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Now, I’ll drink milk a day or two past its expiration date at home, but at a restaurant this is deplorable. It makes you wonder what it is like back in their kitchen. What are they feeding their customers??? I honestly considered calling PW County dept of health to investigate this place. 3. The food was disgusting, and I mean inedible. SEETHEPICTURESTHAT I UPLOADED of the dumplings. Those, my friends, are not dumplings at all. They didn’t look like dumplings, they didn’t taste like dumplings, the filling didn’t even come close to resembling a dumpling filling, and they smelled terrible. Honestly, look at the picture I uploaded. The lo-mein was so greasy and oily it was inedible, it had no flavor other than some fishy tasting oil it was smeared in and it had almost no beef at all. I ate a ¼ of the container and threw it away. To summarize: They have unfriendly employees, the food isn’t cheap at all and it is terrible, they keep food that is past its expiration date, they can’t accurately predict wait times, and there are no positives. No wonder why this place was EMPTY on what should have been a busy night.
