I used to frequent this bagel place before they rennovated. Since they reopened, I’ve had nothing but horrible service. I don’t understand what happened because all the same people still work there. I’ve given it three different attempts since they’ve reopened and have had problems every time. The first time I ordered something simple — a bagel, toasted, with cream cheese. For a bagel store this seems like a no brainer, right? Wrong. I brought it to work and found out that it was a buttered bagel. I could do nothing to fix this, seeing as I didn’t check it until I was already at work. The second time, the same mistake happened again but this time I asked before I left, and it was remade for me. Today, I wanted to get breakfast before heading to the zoo. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll and a buttered roll. I waited 15 minutes and wound up walking out without food. That was my last attempt for this place. I’m done giving them chances.

Pretty good bagel/deli right before the tolls to get to Rockaway Beach. They have a small outdoor area that’s covered if you decide to get something to eat there. Nice way to enjoy the weather on a nice day. There is also a small parking lot too but we’re talking half a dozen or so spots. The store is nice and clean and they are a full deli. Sandwiches, eggs, breakfast, sides like potato salad, coleslaw, etc are all available. They also have a ton of drinks, juice, coffee etc. Good place to either stock up on snacks or grab a bite before or after going the beach.

Don’t even bother with this sh*thole. I live close by and have been coming here for years. The owner recently sold the place and it’s gone down hill so drastically since. The cuts of meat are all fat. On three different occasions I could barely eat my sandwich it was like chewing rubber. The bacon seem to be all the fat and no crispy parts. The last straw for me came when I was biting into my egg sandwich and hit something hard. I thought my tooth broke, but instead I WASSURPRISEDWITHLOVELYHARDSHARDSOFBROKENPLASTIC. My neighbors warned me to stop coming here, and now I know why. It’s a shame when ppl care more about money than quality. Will drive a bit further to All American Deli instead. Fresh hot bagels and it’s right on the way to work. The lines are long sometimes, but the staff really does it’s best to get you in abd out quickly… all with smiles on their faces. My girlfriend goes here in the afternoon and says that the whole wheat wraps are soooo good. Hey babe… bring me home one!

Last stop before going over the toll bridge and get to Rockaway beach. Nice little outside seating to enjoy a bagel or whatever you get. This place has plenty of different bagels to order from. The hamburgers are pretty good too. The service is great and workers here are very friendly. This is a great place to get some lunch before going to the beach.

Needed a change from usual Rockaway sandwich joints so I decided to stop off before heading over to the beach. Glad I did so! Took away a hefty roast beef semolina hero with side of mac to enjoy seaside. Every thing was good quality and fresh. They make their own macaroni salad as well. There are tables to eat in and a rest room as well.

It’s very clean and they open the store to the best of their ability. There is a lot of seating area and it’s available to everyone, inside and out. They have a lot of options and variety of foods, rather you want all the types of soda or fountain soda, and snacks and chips and actual food– you can get literally anything. The variety is open and wide. This is good for a quick get what you want and leave or even if you want to sit there with friends. I’ve sat there before when I’m waiting for friends and just sat outside on my phone with my snack and drink! Very, very nice. A little slow with the food, it does take a while, but it always tastes good and it’s made correctly. The food is good and the people are whatever you know they’re average workers, polite. Very, very nice place.

Long, long wait with just a few people in this place. When I finally got home with my food my BEC was definitely missing some egg. Like a sandwich of dough. Yuck! I’m driving into Howard Beach next time for some better bagels!

Last stop before Rockaway beach, and wow what a stop! I like biking around Jamaica bay, all 24 miles of it is simply amazing. This place is my dirty little treat for doing the circle around the bay. The bagels are huge, and if you’re lucky very fresh. This place has all kinds of goodies, coffee, drinks, bagel options. Definitely worth checking out after a day at the beach!

I live way on the other side of Queens and come down to this place to get bagels. That’s how good they are. Nice staff, and I really like their sun dried tomato cream cheese.

This place is good for any type of sandwiches. They use Boar’s Head brand products. The staff are nice and friendly. Bagels, sliced bread, rolls, oatmeal, coffee, drinks and snacks. Can’t beat it.

This place is worth the toll. The sweet rolls are amazing, they always get the order right, and they cook the food just the way you ask. Not to mention the coffee selection. Good parking too.

Just north of the Cross Bay Bridge, you’d think with that location and its dingy outward appearance, this is no place for a meal. Get past that, and you’ll find surprisingly large, tasty sandwiches and bagels for surprisingly low prices. There are daily soup specials and even reasonably priced beverages. This isn’t just a breakfast bagel stop — they serve lunch. I had a pastrami sandwich on a hero roll, and it was very filling and good pastrami(very hard to find normally, but I was in NYC, so I rolled the dice). In this case, the food would merit 5 stars, but the surroundings bring it down. There aren’t enough tables inside, and we ended up smooshed in a corner, having to constantly shift to let people in and out of the bathroom. The deli is as much convenience store as restaurant, a one-stop shop for locals. You can make it yours as well.

Rock N Roll Bagels probably deserves all five stars, but I need to show restraint because I’ve had only one of their sandwiches. It was a great sandwich. We stopped on the way to JFK. I snagged a poppy seed bagel with fresh lox and cream cheese. This sandwich was cut in half, wrapped and bagged — ready to go on my flight. The stop at Rock N Roll set me back $ 8.50. Just before we pushed back from the gate, I was beckoned by a flight attendant and sent to the front cabin. Upgrade! I was pampered with a «fresh breakfast» that was catered by an operation many rungs below Rock N Roll. But the breakfast was free, and it wasn’t awful. The end result was that the bagel sat in my backpack — for many hours. I finally got to eat my bagel sandwich when lunch rolled around. On the left coast. Many hours after it was made by Rock N Roll. But wow, it was DELICIOUS! It was perfect. I want more! I’ll definitely stop in again. Highly recommended.

Looks are deceiving at this bagel joint on route to Rockaway Beach. Bagels looked big, fresh, and fluffy but that was not the case. Heading here was like heading to an oasis but it turned out to be just a mirage. Plenty of seating, even outdoors. Bathroom. Parking. Plenty of options as far as cream cheeses go. Lots of beverages to choose from. The bagels… that’s another story. I had high hopes from observing the quality of the bagels from the outside but inside the bagel told another tale. The inside was dense and dry – not fresh and fluffy as it appeared. Had an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and although the cream cheese was great, the bagel was not up to par. It was big, I will give it that. That’s about it. The further away you get in the city the bagel options can get pretty dicey. I’m sure to the people of Broad Channel this place is like gold. To put it in terms that won’t offend the lesser minds of that passionate section: This place is more like pyrite.

Great stop on our way back from the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. What a wonderful find just north of Cross-Bay bridge. Amazing list of sammies, burgers, breakfast, lunch. Super-tasty coffees(caf and decaf), bagels. Loads of snackies to load up on if you like. Smiling and helpful staff. It’s a winner!

Used to drive by everyday on my way to work. Unfortunately I moved and really miss this place. Ample parking. Ample seating. Friendly staff. Always handled rush crowds efficiently with minimal wait(can’t say that for the Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts up Cross-Bay. Variety of coffee and always fresh. Their bagels were huge, fresh, crunchy outside, light and fluffy inside, nothing heavy… just amazing with a cool selection of cream cheeses. Once in a blue moon I’d buy a pastry or eggs or something from their salad bar. These other items didn’t measure up to the bagels and coffee, unfortunately, but then it’d be a full fledged deli. But they compensate by constantly adding new innovative items such as lotto, large selection of beverages(including Vitamin Water/Poweraid Zero… not everyone carries the Zero’s), local papers, and I think even Ice Cream when I left. Love this place. I hope it does super well.
