This review has nothing to do with the food or the fantastic hershey’s cookie that comes delivered hot out of the oven. It doesn’t even have to do with their great idea of a $ 5 flavor menu that really caters to those who want a cheap meal. This is all about when they tried to rip me off. We had ordered from them three times in about two weeks because we got addicted to the Hershey’s chocolate Chip Cookie and the $ 5 flavor menu was a steal. One night we placed our order online using my credit card. They don’t allow you to include the tip online like many places so you have to be prepared to include it on the receipt. The driver delivered my items that totaled $ 19.35(this becomes important later). i signed the receipt with a total of $ 23. I know, I know. I over tip pizza guys. It isn’t hard for him to drive down the block but so many call my house because they can’t figure out where to park or they want me to walk outside to get it. I tip generously to anyone that doesn’t call first and just rings the bell. The next evening I open my trusty Capital One app on my phone. The Pizza hut charge has cleared. It cleared in the amount of $ 31.35. WHATTHEHELL!!! I know I am generous but I did not give a twelve dollar tip! I called pizza hut. They gave some answer like the person who closed out the receipts made an error. Here is my guess: an employee thinks they can steal a little from the cookie jar here and there. A lot of people are not as diligent over their credit cards as I am. Most restaurant charges do not clear for a couple of days and most people do not check their charges every single day. The store ended up reimbursing me the entire 12 dollar overage. The moral of this story is either only use cash at this pizza hut or very diligently check your credit card purchases after you use it here.

I ordered online, was told it would take 30 minutes for my pizza. It was delivered within 35 minutes and was both exactly what I ordered and delicious. They must have worked the kinks mentioned below out. I’m grateful for that as I haven’t lived within the delivery zone of a Pizza Hut in 10+ years.

Restaurant Review I forgot about reviewing this place, but this is for a few months back so maybe now there service is worse per Unilocal reviewer Priya R. I ordered my pizza for pickup after work through the website using a discount code. When I arrived there was no issues with the pizza itself, or maybe I would not know the difference since I had to drive 30 minutes back home to the city. The employees on the other hand are flat out poor. No customer service skills. They seemed like they were doing me a great service by buying their pizza. I will not be back. Pro– it’s pizza! Con– terrible employees(poor customer service) Hidden deal– Sign up for pizza hut email for special coupon deals.

okay, I’ve been a purveyor of pizza hut since I was knee high to a tadpoles… or something along that lines. We had a franchise in Westchester till maybe 5+ years ago. I was hooked as a kid through their book– it program and my sister even had a birthday party there. So when I say I love me the hut, u know where I’m coming from. Since they closed our neighborhood one, we had no location that delivered to our area so I would make the occasional trek to Westmont. Low and behold early this Fall I was stopping for Starbucks and I saw that they were opening a franchise in my neighboring town ANDTHEYDELIVERED!!! I was so excited and when they finally opened… TRAINWRECK. First it’s in a strip mall so it’s basically just a store front, No where to sit or no lunch buffets… they were there solely for pick– up or delivery. I was fine with that cuz Hey! we have a pizza hut down the street. well, the first few months they had no trained staff except the manager and it was quickly turning into a high volume store, so I’m a pretty patient person and I worked retail so I chalked up the hour and a half waits to «working out staff kinks» A few more months pass and the pick ups were a nightmare, customers literally were switching pizzas with each other because they got the wrong order. I finally had it when I waited, honest to God, 45 mins to place an order only to be told to hold on…15 mins later I left upset. So I thought maybe delivery would be better. now please understand I live literally ten minutes away if u hit all the lights. after placing my order for 1 large pan I waited 2 hours and fifteen minutes for it, only to have the poor guy show up with a box of wings and breadsticks! while waiting I called the manager ever half hour to check where was my pizza, always she would say oh it’s about ten minutes out. when I called back to tell her the guy brought the wrong order she asked me, «what do u want me to do» I politely told her I sent back the food but tipped the driver so I would lime u to credit my card back. she said no, I can give u store credit… after arguing with her and weak from hunger I caved and took the credit. last night I decided to use the credit and knowing it was a holiday called and asked if they would rather have me pick up or could they deliver? the associate said no we’re not busy so we can deliver. I said great and placed my 1 large pan order again about 4:45pm…6:50 rolls around and I’m fuming as I’m getting ready to leave for church so I call to just cancel my order. the manager again was like, it’ll be there in ten minutes and I told her I had to leave and this was unacceptable service. I get home from church around 8:30 my poor mom who is sick tells me pizza hut guy stopped by with an order of pzones and a 2liter of sprite. luckily she sent him away. I called the manager just to be polite and let her know what happened and she wad just plain rude… going on how it was a holiday. So I just said fine please put my credit on a gift card and I went and picked it up. I guess I will be trekking again to Westmont. Makes me very sad that a brand I love so much has turned to hiring inept gremlins who can’t deliver one town over correctly.
