The food is great here and the friendly and cheery environment is amazing. They are all so nice and accommodating its really nice every time you go. I love their French toast!

This is definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the area. The price is right and the portions are great. I’ve had their pancakes, a few omelets and the eggs benedict(with fish cakes instead of canadian bacon!). The grilled english muffins are amazing and the home fries are good too. I haven’t had a complaint yet. The service is great, usually very fast. I’ve also had their grilled chicken for lunch which is soooo good. Great garlic seasoning, very tender! I won’t go as far as saying it’s some of the best food I’ve ever had(though there’s a lot more to try!) but it’s above average. The staff, which I believe a lot of them are family, is nice too.

It’s been hard to find a place north of the Mason-Dixon Line that can make a decent eggs benedict. That’s what I ordered this morning at this local greasy-spoon and it was wonderful! My fiancée and I come here quite often and have never been disappointed. The food is great, the service is friendly – many of the waitresses and cooks have been working here for years. Bravo!

The pancakes happen to be the best I’ve had in this area with the blueberry like Jordan Marsh Blueberry Muffins… omg so good. I also tried the sausage gravy… all I needed was a biscuit and warmer weather and you would think you were in the South. Luv it. I think they need to do better with cleanliness and food prep and this would be 5 stars. Who owns this place I need to speak to them

Great place to have a simple basic breakfast… Staff is quick and friendly and decent amount of parking… Prices are a little above average, but it’s worth it.

I have been going to eat breakfast here for over 14 years now. Use to be great, but for the last 6 – 7 years prices have gone up a couple of times & quality has gone down significantly. Staff is amazing and always friendly and smiling. I just went there last week and prices went up again and servings got smaller. Time to find a new breakfast place.

I highly recommend this local restaurant to everybody. The service is outstanding and to top that off the food is heavenly. I got the number 2 and the pancakes were one of the best pancakes I ever eaten. Will be a returning customer.

Service was okay. Food was okay, nothing memorably good. Scrambled eggs are really just eggs with a slice of cheese slapped on top which didn’t make sense to me because I thought everyone made scrambled eggs the same.

Good breakfast. We got seated in an area where nobody was serving so we waited for 15 minutes for a menu. I love their food and it’s cheap enough that I don’t mind driving out of my way to get there.

Good restaurant, breakfast is awsome! Staff is hit or miss. Cash only but not a big deal as a lot of places are turning to that. Definitely the best breakfast joint in Brockton.

Growing up in Brockton, Alexander’s is a great part of that. My family and I ate here when I was younger and now my children and I eat here as well. Great food, great service and great people… what more can you ask for.

I love little places like this that are hidden gems. My sister was the first to introduce me to this place. I often get take our for those days that I really want a deluxe breakfast and cannot make it on my own. My son loves to eat all the hash browns. I usually get an omelet and they are always very hearty and taste amazing. I’ve gone with my boyfriend too. He gets the pancakes and has never complained.

I have to agree with several Unilocalers that the service is REALLY good. Our waitress was attentive, and personable. This place is cash only, which is a bit annoying but I can deal(they have an ATM in the place, after all). My companion’s pancakes were lovely, and my bagel was fresh. I ordered an omelette and was very specific with the waitress — NOT well done, softer than my BF after a night of hard drinking — you get the picture, right? Right! Soooo, it came out all brown. Eggs(aka omelettes) are yellow, not brown. Even the waitress noticed and expressed her concern as she put it in front of me. Not wanting to be a total PITA, I thought I’d try it, but alas… too overcooked to stomach. So I sent it back, apologizing(waitress said«no, YOU shouldn’t apologize, I told them it looked overcooked). A sweetheart to be sure. So it was redone… and still way too cooked for my taste… cooked average, I’d say — nothing«soft» about it. I didn’t have the heart to let her down when she said, «Is it better? I told them they screwed up the first one!» I almost ordered the Eggs Benny($ 6 or 7) based on Dan R’s review(now regretting that I didn’t). Not sure what folks who are complaining about are using as a reference point, but $ 10.95 for Eggs Benny at IHOP so this place is a STEAL. The best part of our meal was the entertainment that came with the experience. We were treated to a theatrical production of «Imma-gonna-breaka-your-face». The guy in the booth behind us, dining with his ~ 7 year-old daughter and wife, was holding an increasingly loud phone conversation with his mechanic about his«tranny»(the car kind, not the sexual orientation kind). It went back and forth for about 5 minutes over how he was going to sue the guy for not fixing it right the first time, and the mechanic responding that he was right, but that it would take him 8 months to get a court date. The conflict escalated and the conversation finally ended with the diner shouting«Well how’s about I come down there and punch you in your face… I’ll be right there!». Lol. We’ll give this place another shot when we are in the area and see what happens. I’ll try the Eggs Benny and perhaps we’ll get to see a catfight!

Breakfast here is like going to heaven. Especially the garbage omelet, so good. Word of advice, if you see it’s packed, don’t even they it. The service is way too slow, they forget about your table then they want to get grouchy at you.

I love this place, its old fashion big portions with low prices. The ribeye is the best at that price range, definately check this place out.

Tried eggs Benedict for the first time in my life so I can’t really compare it to past experience … It tasted good and the waitstaff was great… Prices were reasonable… we usually come here closer to noontime on weekends and I always get the steak and cheese grinder… it’s never disappointed… my 11 year old son loves the chocolate chip pancakes and my soon to be 8 year old daughter always gets mashed potatoes w/gravy and breakfast sausages… even this morning at 9:20am

I wasn’t impressed. Homefries were too small in size and greasy. I thought every restaurant would know that Thomas English Muffins are the best. The muffin that I was served was very thin and hard as a rock.

Came to Alexander’s for breakfast one morning after reading good reviews & I’m here to report that they lived up to them. There was definitely a wait but they worked quickly to get us a table. Our waitress was a doll, sorta kooky & such but we found it endearing and enjoyed her service. The french toast, eggs, bacon & everything else was hearty & delicious. My sister-in-law’s meal came out wrong but they fixed it without hesitation & our waitress kept apologizing & then credited the bill a couple of items. We never asked for the deduction on our check but it was a nice surprise and hence, Alexander’s has won a customer for many future breakfast outings. The one thing you want to remember is that they only take cash & oh yes, don’t judge a book by its cover.

I always try and go there for breakfast when I can, either take or sit down it’s always great and prices are very good! I have nothing bad to say about the place, if you are hungry and want a good omelet, homes fries, pancakes or whatever this place is for you. I recommend the mushroom and cheese omelet.
